Mike's team replaced the rotten wood and rendering on the front of our house. The team were a very polite and jolly group and did their best to keep the place tidy during a messy job. Minor problems were resolved quickly after the job was completed.

Mike and Scott went above and beyond to fit the job into their very busy schedule. This speaks to how well thought of they are as a local firm, being in such demand. I don't usually leave reviews but was so impressed with the professionalism, courtesy and attention to detail shown throughout the job. They were always prompt, polite and explained everything thoroughly and clearly. The work was completed ahead of time and the invoice was adjusted to reflect that much less needed doing than anticipated, showing the honesty and professionalism of great tradespersons. Couldn't recommend enough!

I have nothing but plenty of compliments to The Mike Carroll team who completed replacement soffit & fascia on our semi-detached property 28/8/25. It was potentially an awkward job with our conservatory which prevented easy access a the rear of the property, but this successfully overcome. We had the concrete gutters removed and replaced with new soffit and gutters along with the roof verges renewed. All work carried out in very efficient manner to a high standard of workmanship.

We used Mike Carroll Ltd last year for replacement soffits, guttering and a new porch canopy and so we didn't hesitate to ask them to replace our cladding on the front and back of our house this year. The workmen were lovely, happy to answer all of my questions and they cleared up after themselves really well. The quality of their workmanship is amazing and our house looks lovely and smart now. We used Mike Carroll Ltd to replace the corrugated roof on our old barn having previously re-slated our cottage roof. A great team and a great quality job with everything left clean and tidy. Would certainly use them again.

We had fascia, soffits, and guttering replaced, along with redoing verging. We're very happy with the work and it has been done to a high standard. The team were incredibly friendly and respectful (we had James and Jack come to do the work). The job was finished in good time, managing to beat the bad weather! During a renovation, we discovered a box window flat roof was leaking and in urgent need of replacement. Mike and his team managed to find a slot 2 days later despite being very busy which meant other trades could continue to their agreed schedules. Jamie and Jack did the work and were prompt, professional, polite and did an excellent job. The work area was left tidy and clean. All in all great service and a quality job.

We approached Mike Carroll based on the information on the website backed up by the positive reviews on Which?TrustedTrader. He responded quickly to our enquiry and a visit to our house followed soon after where he measured up, listened to what we wanted and gave us practical advice. The quote arrived later that day and was clearly set out. The quote also included the cost of a local scaffolding company providing suitable access to the barge boards at the rear of the property to overcome the issue posed by a full-width conservatory. We were happy to accept the quote and had been made aware of when the work was likely to be undertaken (a couple of months away). 2 days before the work was due to start, Mike contacted us and asked if they could start a day early which was fine. James and Jack arrived early that day to start the work and, despite some unpleasant weather, carried on over the next few days until everything was finished. They were friendly, professional and their attention to detail is second to none. Also, the old boards, guttering and any rubbish were cleared away so nothing left for us to do. We are delighted with the result and based on our experience I have no hesitation in recommending the company.

Mike Carroll Ltd replaced our soffits, fascias and guttering. From quote through to completion of the work I have been really impressed with the team's professionalism. All interactions have been friendly and courteous, and Scott and the team who did the work were very polite and respectful, answered any questions I had, and conducted themselves extremely well at all times. The team replaced both ours and our neighbour’s soffits and facias. From the moment I contacted the company, communication was quick and whenever a date was given, a member of the team would arrive to do what was needed; from providing a quote, to order materials to arrive to start the job. Scott and the team are the nicest bunch of blokes, always polite and nothing was too much trouble. They kept us fully updated on how the job was going and finished within the expected timeline. All flat rooves replaced. Excellent communication and work was carried out efficiently. Due to weather warnings they had provided extra team members to ensure work got completed in time. Clearly demonstrated why some extra work needed doing to achieve a high quality outcome. All the team were extremely polite and I cannot recommend them enough.

Scott and his team did an amazing job with our new Fascia, Soffits and Guttering. The Work - 1. The newly fitted Fascia, Soffits and Guttering look great and are working as expected. 2. We were also getting new windows so they liaised with another local company to sort out which work should be done in what order. Customer Service - 1. Scott responded very quickly whether it was by email, text or phone call. 2. After the work had been done and it had rained for the first time it looked like there was a leak. Scott gladly came out to have a look and found it was because our neighbours gutters were blocked with moss. He knocked on our neighbours door and got permission to clear their gutters to allow the rain water to flow away correctly. 3. When we were having trouble getting in contact with the other company doing work for us Scott said he would contact them for us and managed to get them to contact us within an hour. Conclusion - We would definitely recommend Mike Carrol to anyone who is looking to get new Fascia, Soffits and Guttering. Scott has provided the best customer service we have ever had.

We had a lot of wooden cladding which needed replacement so chose the composite Hardie plank cladding. The team did a great job of installation and finishing off the work. We selected the anthracite colour and it looks splendid and we don't have to worry about maintenance now. All waste was removed and everything left clean.

I have used Mike's services over the years and can only continue to shout out loud about the excellent service. They always deliver, always do a great job and always clear up after themselves. Their estimates are always fair and they always come in on budget. They communicate well so if they discover anything additional that has not been factored in you are always well-informed. But what I particularly want to say is that Mike himself is one of the nicest and most polite man you could meet and this is proven by the team that he has surrounded himself with who are all really nice guys and always so very polite.
