During a renovation, we discovered a box window flat roof was leaking and in urgent need of replacement. Mike and his team managed to find a slot 2 days later despite being very busy which meant other trades could continue to their agreed schedules. Jamie and Jack did the work and were prompt, professional, polite and did an excellent job. The work area was left tidy and clean. All in all great service and a quality job.

We approached Mike Carroll based on the information on the website backed up by the positive reviews on Which?TrustedTrader. He responded quickly to our enquiry and a visit to our house followed soon after where he measured up, listened to what we wanted and gave us practical advice. The quote arrived later that day and was clearly set out. The quote also included the cost of a local scaffolding company providing suitable access to the barge boards at the rear of the property to overcome the issue posed by a full-width conservatory. We were happy to accept the quote and had been made aware of when the work was likely to be undertaken (a couple of months away). 2 days before the work was due to start, Mike contacted us and asked if they could start a day early which was fine. James and Jack arrived early that day to start the work and, despite some unpleasant weather, carried on over the next few days until everything was finished. They were friendly, professional and their attention to detail is second to none. Also, the old boards, guttering and any rubbish were cleared away so nothing left for us to do. We are delighted with the result and based on our experience I have no hesitation in recommending the company.

Mike Carroll Ltd replaced our soffits, fascias and guttering. From quote through to completion of the work I have been really impressed with the team's professionalism. All interactions have been friendly and courteous, and Scott and the team who did the work were very polite and respectful, answered any questions I had, and conducted themselves extremely well at all times. I really got the sense that they take pride in doing a good job, and ensuring their customers are happy with the work that has been done. The work was completed in less time than originally estimated, with the final invoice reduced commensurately, and the team cleared away all waste and left no mess at all. The team replaced both ours and our neighbour’s soffits and facias. From the moment I contacted the company, communication was quick and whenever a date was given, a member of the team would arrive to do what was needed; from providing a quote, to order materials to arrive to start the job. Scott and the team are the nicest bunch of blokes, always polite and nothing was too much trouble. They kept us fully updated on how the job was going and finished within the expected timeline. I have never had such super communication before when dealing with tradesmen. They carried out a super job, and I smile every time I look at the exterior of my house, I’m so chuffed! All flat rooves replaced. Excellent communication and work was carried out efficiently. Due to weather warnings they had provided extra team members to ensure work got completed in time. Clearly demonstrated why some extra work needed doing to achieve a high quality outcome. All the team were extremely polite and I cannot recommend them enough.

I’ve used these guys multiple times now and can’t recommend them highly enough. They were very quick to come round and assess the work, provide very reasonable costs, and got the work done in a very reasonable time frame.
