Mike's team had undertaken soffit and guttering work for me several years ago and so I had no hesitation in calling on them in to repace the 20 year old felt roof on my kitchen extension. The new rubber roofing work was as completed on time and I was again impressed by the attitude and work ethic of the team, and the end result as well.

James came to replace fascia soffits and guttering today. Very polite and took care over my property. They worked efficiently and tidied up as they went.

Mike Carroll Roofing carried out our roof repairs and were superb from start to finish. From the initial enquiry and quote, right through to the work being carried out, they were superb. Scott and his installation team were uber professional and did exactly what they promised on time. They cleared up immaculately afterwards too. Having used Mike Carroll to replace the soffit and gutters on my home, I had no problem suggesting to my mother that Mike Carroll would be the best company to install an insulating breather membrane and repair her roof and replace soffit and gutters, the crew were very courteous and kept everything clear and worked hard. Scott pointed out the rear bathroom roof could do with some work and mum's neighbour was so impressed she had her back room roof replaced.

Torrential rain, roof leaking, bedroom ceiling collapsed - stressed. Relax, got emergency cover, phoned Insurance Co. (Took 57 minutes to get through). They will send someone around in 4 days! He eventually arrived and it took him 4 minutes to condemn the whole roof - can’t help and went. Really stressed now. I found Mike's number from Which? Trusted Traders who sent a couple of guys that afternoon. They found a broken tile, had a selection of tiles for emergency use in the van, replaced the tile, job done in10 minutes and a dry roof. Brilliant, so relieved! Thank you so much, Scott, I've never seen a pack of rugby players put to a better use!

Scott and his team did a brilliant job replacing the old flat roof on our garage and kitchen extension. The job was completed to a very high standard on time and on budget. Scott kept us updated on progress and was friendly and professional. The site was left clean and tidy once they had finished the job.

Professional service from start to finish. From Mikes initial visit to provide detailed quote for various work - soffits, facials, guttering and re-roofing both garage, utility and walkway. The team were extremely professional and worked around both us and the weather and informed us of any adjustments needed due to the complicated nature of the job. James, Josh and Scott managed the teams on site and respected our property, ensuring areas were cleared up at the end of each day. We are extremely happy with the work completed, especially with the wet weather we have had recently, meaning everything is now water tight. We will be calling on them in the near future for further work we need completing and would highly recommend their services.

Can’t recommend highly enough. Scott problem solved several problems with accessing the property to complete work. Estimate was accurate and work completed on time and to a good standard. From start to finish this has been a very easy and satisfactory process. My initial inquiry was quickly responded to, and the organizing of a suitable day and time to view and price the job went well. Mike turned up on time, and gave me a comprehensive breakdown of the job, what it entailed etc. The next day I received my quote, a breakdown of the job, terms and conditions, everything you would expect from a reputable company. The day the work started the team arrived on time, very polite and friendly. They just got on with the job, which was to remove old leaking metal guttering and replace with new plastic guttering. When they finished they left the area neat and tidy. They made it very clear that if I had any issues at all however small, that I should get back in touch, this has not been necessary. Great local company, reliable and trustworthy. Scott quoted for some remedial work on my mum's house after she had been overcharged for a botched job by another company. Mike Carroll's team remedied the work as stated, at the price given upfront, and were professional and courteous to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Scott and the team from Mike Carroll Ltd were able to re-roof our cottage at short notice to fit in with a solar panel installation when we found out that the current roof wasn't quite up to it. They managed to re-slate one side to allow our panel installation to continue with minimal delay and then returned shortly afterwards to complete the rest of the roof. All done at a fair price, beīng the middle of 3 quotes. A friendly and professional team from quote to completion, great commnication and a pleasure to work with. Very happy and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

We had replacement fascia's, soffits and guttering to the house and garage as well as a rubber roof to the garage. The team of up to 5 people were friendly and very obliging, worked well as a team, and finished within the agreed time. There were one or two minor things I felt needed adjustment and they were rectified speedily to my complete satisfaction and the whole job came in under the original estimate. I chose them because they had all their own scaffolding for my difficult access and the resources for a big job and I'm very glad I did.

We had a small leak near our chimney and called 2 roofing firms. One said we needed a complete re-roofing of our Victorian slate roof - whereas Mike Carroll Ltd said our roof was pretty solid and merely needed repairs in patches. On the day, Scott and Tyler put up a small tower, investigated the roof, explained again what they needed to do, and did it all swiftly and expertly. They were cheerful, neat and tidy and put everything back - and even helped my neighbour who suddenly needed a ladder. As the job was smaller than their estimate, they adjusted their invoice. I would strongly recommend them!

We got 3 quotes for a flat roof, and Mike Carroll Roofing came in at the middle quote. Detailed quote received, including full information on what materials they would use. Sadly due to weather our job was delayed twice but I was kept informed at all times by Scott. On the day, Scott and 3 colleagues arrived at 8am and got the job done in one day which was most appreciated. They were all helpful and friendly, and probably the tidiest tradesmen ever! All rubbish cleared as soon as it appeared, everything was left clean and clear and they couldn't have been nicer. The job itself is excellent and Scott was able to explain what they had done and why, he clearly is very knowledgeable. I would recommend this company in a heartbeat, excellent service from start to finish and for a reasonable price.

Our old conservatory roof needed replacing and had the extra complication of a drainage channel connected to an adjoining extension roof. Mike and his team made us feel confident and used their skills to create a comprehensive solution. We had new cement verges to the rear and front gables and bird-stop and EPS gutter to 2 side elevations done. Mike Carroll had given us a very fair quote and we had seen this company do a great job with the same work on our next-door neighbour's house last year. Scott, Josh and Tyler are a very skilled and efficient team who never seemed to rush the job but still made fast progress working without any shouting or needing loud music, no need to apologise to the neighbours. The team are very good and quick in adapting their own scaffolding and scaffold tower combination to accommodate our large pergola at the back and a full-width porch at the front of the house. This company for us has the equipment, the highly professional staff and, by using superior materials, our finished job is outstanding. Scott, Josh and Tyler were very accommodating, ever so good in cleaning and clearing up and, best of all, those three people are the most polite and pleasant people to have around that you could have wished for - Thank you all!

This is the second time I have used Mike Carroll to replace guttering and again would highly recommend them. His team arrived on time, very professional, helpful and polite. Facia, Soffits, and guttering replaced on a bungalow. Garage roof also replaced. They were tidy and cleared away all rubbish. It was good to see them working well as team. The wet weather had delayed the garage roof replacement, so when there was a dry afternoon 6 lads arrived to get the job done. Job well done

After having several people quote for a full shed reroof Mike Carroll was the only one to quote an acceptable price including legal disposal of arisings which was not the case with marginally cheaper quotes and much less than the highest. Quote came quickly with the caveat that, due to workload, there was no certainty of being done sooner rather than later. Subsequently given a date in November but got called to say a team could do the work last week. I was happy to agree and 3 guys Alastair Sam and Tom came at 0800 and left mid afternoon having replaced the old roof with neat and tidy new boarding and rubber surface guaranteed for 20 years and a 2 year guarantee on workmanship. Everything was cleared away and they kept me informed about what they were doing so I remained happy. I would be very happy to use the company again.

I was delighted with the work completed by the team working for Mike Carroll Ltd. They arrived on time and from the start, tackled the job with enthusiasm, confidence and considerable expertise, even though the job - to install the new gutters, fascias and soffits - involved additional challenges, like having to gain access to the edge of the roof over an existing conservatory. The men were polite and hardworking and there were no additional charges, as the invoice was for exactly the amount that had been quoted. I thoroughly recommend Mike Carroll and his company and couldn't have asked for better contractors.

Mike Carroll Ltd were recommended by another builder who could not take on our job for a year or so. The job was wholly renewing the verge cement and refitting the roof tiles, etc, for three roof pitches at our house. Mike came promptly to produce an estimate, said he could not do it for three months as he was fully booked and gave us a date in September. Three days before he phoned to say the weather was not good and gave us a new date three days hence. each day Scott, who was to do the work, phoned and emailed to let us know that the approved day was still on. Scott and James arrived and did the work in two days. They were friendly, very efficient and cheerful. They were a pleasure to have around and kept everything tidy. All old cement was removed and disposed of cleanly. The cement mixing was contained in a plastic lipped tray and after they had cleaned up, hosed the pavings, etc, everything was clean as a whistle. I thoroughly recommend this firm and indeed I have requested an estimate for further work. It was good to work with an utterly trustworthy builder whose employees are cheerful, polite and highly professional.

The team from Mike Carroll Ltd have recently completed the installation of rubber roofing to my two large high-level dormer windows and a single storey extension, replacing 40-year-old zinc roofs. When Mike came to assess the job and to measure for the quotation, I was so impressed with his approach and attitude that I never bothered to get another quote - if you feel confidence in someone then that to me is more important than trying to get a cheaper price. Once the job had started, Scott and his team carried out the work in a thoroughly professional way. They were clean, methodical and moreover took care around the property to minimise damage to planting and areas around where they worked. Each day they arrived on time (mostly early!) and discussed with me, before they started, what they expected to complete that day. There was never any shouting, swearing or loud music, just quiet 'banter' and discussions about what to do and how, which was appreciated in a quiet area. I was a Chartered Building Surveyor and Construction Project Manager during my working career and appreciate Scott's in-depth knowledge of his trade and his approach to the work - you get to know when someone knows what they are doing and just gets on with it, giving confidence in their ability. This attitude to doing a good job and listening to the customer seems to have been instilled into the whole workforce (at least the ones I saw) and they are all a credit to the company.
