Having used Mike Carroll to replace the soffit and gutters on my home, I had no problem suggesting to my mother that Mike Carroll would be the best company to install an insulating breather membrane and repair her roof and replace soffit and gutters, the crew were very courteous and kept everything clear and worked hard. Scott pointed out the rear bathroom roof could do with some work and mum's neighbour was so impressed she had her back room roof replaced.

I’ve used these guys multiple times now and can’t recommend them highly enough. They were very quick to come round and assess the work, provide very reasonable costs, and got the work done in a very reasonable time frame. I’m always wary of being ripped off by traders, but these guys restored my faith in decent, honest tradesmen! A breath of fresh air and would 100% recommend them! All flat rooves replaced. Excellent communication and work was carried out efficiently. Due to weather warnings they had provided extra team members to ensure work got completed in time. Clearly demonstrated why some extra work needed doing to achieve a high quality outcome. All the team were extremely polite and I cannot recommend them enough.

We approached Mike Carroll based on the information on the website backed up by the positive reviews on Which?TrustedTrader. He responded quickly to our enquiry and a visit to our house followed soon after where he measured up, listened to what we wanted and gave us practical advice. The quote arrived later that day and was clearly set out. The quote also included the cost of a local scaffolding company providing suitable access to the barge boards at the rear of the property to overcome the issue posed by a full-width conservatory. We were happy to accept the quote and had been made aware of when the work was likely to be undertaken (a couple of months away). 2 days before the work was due to start, Mike contacted us and asked if they could start a day early which was fine. James and Jack arrived early that day to start the work and, despite some unpleasant weather, carried on over the next few days until everything was finished. They were friendly, professional and their attention to detail is second to none. Also, the old boards, guttering and any rubbish were cleared away so nothing left for us to do. We are delighted with the result and based on our experience I have no hesitation in recommending the company.

The whole process was very easy and smooth, from contacting Mike initially about new fascias, soffits and guttering. His input about various options and suggestions but giving us time to think, decide and then of course change our minds back to what he had initially suggested. Then his team of Scott and Ash arrived, on time, when stated.They were very professional, efficient and tidy, explaining at all stages what they were doing next and minimising disruption to our household. They did a fantastic job and we would highly recommend Mike and his team.

I used Mike and his team to replace my gutters in June. They did a great job and were efficient, friendly and professional. The work they completed looks really good. Cheerful, polite team of young men replaced facia, soffits and guttering and did a great job despite the inclement weather. Very impressed with Scott who came to do the estimate, looked at the hanging-down soffit board caused by the recent high winds, and volunteered to bring out his ladder and carry out a temporary repair without any prompting from me.

We used Mike’s team for our original flat roof request - the work was done on time, to a great standard. Scott is courteous and obviously cares about the quality of work done. The challenges with our roof continued - Mike and Scott made it their objective to find the source of the problem and provide a solution that was both cost effective and fixed the problem. Notably - the issue was elsewhere and not the flat roof! Wholeheartedly recommended.

Mike Carroll, sent Scott and his team out to us on Thursday 28th February to replace guttering, fascia and soffits with downpipes all round our property. They arrived on time started work promptly and left our house and garden in a tidy condition at the end of each day. They did a professional job which has been severely tested by Storm Gareth. On meeting Mike Carroll I liked his calm and knowledgeable manner, and having chosen his company to do the works I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND using them. Mike’s team (project manager Scott; Andrew & Sam) arrived as planned and they replaced my old felt garage roof with a popular one made of rubber. I was kept in the loop regarding the various stages of the works and they were always polite and cheerful. They took all the old roofing material away, kept everywhere clean and tidy and showed great attention to detail. The finished roof looks fantastic and the other repairs look great too. The price quoted is the price I paid and I’m more than satisfied with that. I also received the guarantee for the roof the next day and I now have the peace of mind that leaks are a thing of the past!

Had Mike Carroll and his team do a lot of work on my property. Replacement Fascias, soffits and guttering to the whole house, together with replacing the leaking roof felt on my double length garage with fleece backed EPDM rubber membrane. The quote was competitive and I decided to opt for a dedicated roofing company rather than a double glazing company that also did fascias etc. The weather was very cold but the guys were all very cheery. The weather was also inclement and very windy at times causing one day to be cancelled but this was made up by having five members of the team on the next day, thus ensuring the work was all completed as quickly as possible. The site was kept tidy and cleared up at the end of each day. The rotting gable ends were replaced as well as the rotten garage roof boards. The option of having this done was mentioned in the original schedule and I took up this option at a reasonable cost after seeing the very poor state of the original wood once uncovered. The work was completed to a very high standard which looks excellent. My wife and I are very pleased. Had a couple of minor snags which is understandable with such a large job but these were rectified very promptly. This gives me great confidence about the after sales service. Nothing was too much trouble and I have enough confidence in Mike Carroll to recommend him and his team to anyone.

Gutters, fascias and soffits replaced. Work commenced on date agreed and completed on schedule. Friendly and polite workforce, treating customers and neighbours with respect. Work completed to a very high standard and left site clean & tidy. Slight problem connecting to neighbours guttering became apparent on rainfall but this was rectified completely within a couple of hours of reporting. Neighbour commented "that is excellent customer service !"

They arrived on time and from the start, tackled the job with enthusiasm, confidence and considerable expertise, even though the job - to install the new gutters, fascias and soffits - involved additional challenges, like having to gain access to the edge of the roof over an existing conservatory.
