I have used Mike's services over the years and can only continue to shout out loud about the excellent service. They always deliver, always do a great job and always clear up after themselves. Their estimates are always fair and they always come in on budget. They communicate well so if they discover anything additional that has not been factored in you are always well-informed. But what I particularly want to say is that Mike himself is one of the nicest and most polite man you could meet and this is proven by the team that he has surrounded himself with who are all really nice guys and always so very polite. They are a pleasure to have around and I would always recommend Mike Carroll, Scott and the team for any kind of work you need doing "up there" where you can't or don't want to reach. Wow, difficult to leave a review when one is lost for words! What a company, I have never experienced such unparalleled excellence. Our gutters facia and roof needed urgent attention after seeking various companies advice Mike Carroll were the obvious choice. Efficient, more than helpful top quality workmanship and genuine staff. We had fascia, soffits, and guttering replaced, along with redoing verging. We're very happy with the work and it has been done to a high standard. The team were incredibly friendly and respectful (we had James and Jack come to do the work). The job was finished in good time, managing to beat the bad weather! The work was easy to organise and book with Mike, and they even travelled a bit further out of their usual area to accommodate us. We used Mike Carroll Ltd last year for replacement soffits, guttering and a new porch canopy and so we didn't hesitate to ask them to replace our cladding on the front and back of our house this year. The workmen were lovely, happy to answer all of my questions and they cleared up after themselves really well. The quality of their workmanship is amazing and our house looks lovely and smart now. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to others for any of the works we have had done.

Mike gave us a quote for replacing gutters and fascias, and capping the soffits. It wasn't the cheapest, but it was the most thorough quote, with everything explained, so I was expecting a professional job, which is what we got. Scott and Ash worked quickly, and were happy to answer my queries and concerns as the job went on The finished job looks great, and Scott came back promptly to finish off a couple of details I had asked for. They also did a couple of running repairs to other parts of the roof without charge, and I am asking them to come back to do a permanent repair. Very happy with the job they did.

Mike gave a very competitive quote and a date to start the work was quickly agreed. Because of good weather his team were able to start work a day early which was agreed with me before work started. Communication with Mike was good throughout the work period and his team were polite and friendly. There were a couple of unforeseen problems which were found after completion and they were quickly put right. I have no hesitation in recommending Mike and his team for fixing roofing problems.

Great job from a polite young hard working team. The job was well managed around a couple of days of wet weather. The team were always on time and worked extremely hard in, what seemed to me, bitterly cold conditions. Completely wrong time of year to replace the guttering when the wisteria was is full bloom and the climbing rose was sprouting! However Mike did a great job being incredibly careful with the greenery and fixed the guttering and soffits as well. Many thanks - very happy to recommend.

Called Mike Carroll for a quote because of a friends recommendation. Friend wasn’t wrong. Came out,gave the cheapest quote straight off,arranged a fitting date for my gutters,soffits and facias. Called me the day before to make sure all still ok for me. Fitters came out on the day as arranged,very friendly and courteous absolutely 1st class gentleman. After work was carried out,I received a phone call AND a visit to ensure I was 100% happy,only then did I receive the bill. Can’t recommend Mike Carroll enough. Don’t waste your time phoning around,it’s pointless.

The whole process was easy and straight forward. Mikes team arrived as arranged and were very friendly and professional. Soffits, Facias and Guttering replaced. The house looks so much better now. The job of removing my shed's roof of asbestos sheets and replacing it with a Duo Play Fleece backed single ply rubber membrane was carried out efficiently and professionally by James and Jerome in one day - ahead of schedule. Nothing was too much bother and their cheery personalities made them a pleasure to have working in my garden. They kept the working environment clean and tidy at all times and made sure everything was exactly as I hoped for at the end of the day's work. Result: One super shed roof and a very happy customer. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mike Carroll and his team.

I contacted Mike Carroll in June to replace our fascia, soffitts and gutters and his quote for 130m of roofline work matched or bettered that of three other companies. I selected Mike on a combination of value and a particularly strong local reference. His team of directly employed staff turned up exactly as promised and demonstrated a hard working, flexible approach to the job with up to five men working to complete the job as planned. Mike's staff present a very positive face to the customer and must be a strong differentiator for his well established business. I would recommend Mike Carroll and his team without hesitation and would be happy to offer satisfied customer comment to anyone interested.

The gutter was still leaking, after two attempts to fix, where it connects to neighbour's gutter. They did fix the leak over front door. I had to vacuum mess in porch area, left by them. After several attempts to fix the leak between my new gutter and my neighbour's old cast iron gutter, they have replaced their gutter. This beyond anything that I and my wife expected. Changed our opinion completely.

Really pleased with the work done especially the careful removal of the asbestos. Mikes men led by Jerome did a very professional job and could not be more pleased with the result. I would recommend them to anyone if you want a first class job done.

Mike's team did a full replacement of soffits, fascias and guttering at my property. The team worked really hard in sometimes awful weather conditions. The job was priced competitively and carried out professionally. The team were receptive to some last-minute requests and carried them out. Mike visited site to check progress and check I was happy. The team were professional when setting up, when working and clearing up at the end of the job - everything was cleared away, swept, etc.

The team from Mike Carroll Ltd have recently completed the installation of rubber roofing to my two large high-level dormer windows and a single storey extension, replacing 40-year-old zinc roofs. When Mike came to assess the job and to measure for the quotation, I was so impressed with his approach and attitude that I never bothered to get another quote - if you feel confidence in someone then that to me is more important than trying to get a cheaper price. Once the job had started, Scott and his team carried out the work in a thoroughly professional way. They were clean, methodical and moreover took care around the property to minimise damage to planting and areas around where they worked. Each day they arrived on time (mostly early!) and discussed with me, before they started, what they expected to complete that day. There was never any shouting, swearing or loud music, just quiet 'banter' and discussions about what to do and how, which was appreciated in a quiet area. I was a Chartered Building Surveyor and Construction Project Manager during my working career and appreciate Scott's in-depth knowledge of his trade and his approach to the work - you get to know when someone knows what they are doing and just gets on with it, giving confidence in their ability. This attitude to doing a good job and listening to the customer seems to have been instilled into the whole workforce (at least the ones I saw) and they are all a credit to the company.

We have been delighted with the work completed by the team who arrived in a timely manner each day and completed the job to replace all the guttering to a highly expert and professional standard. We have received compliments from neighbours about the little added extras that were included in our job compared to the ones that they had completed. Having contacted Mike after a brush with a competitor who I felt was trying to take advantage I am so pleased that you I managed to find the right team to help me. Mike Carroll Ltd were recommended by another builder who could not take on our job for a year or so. The job was wholly renewing the verge cement and refitting the roof tiles, etc, for three roof pitches at our house. Mike came promptly to produce an estimate, said he could not do it for three months as he was fully booked and gave us a date in September. Three days before he phoned to say the weather was not good and gave us a new date three days hence. each day Scott, who was to do the work, phoned and emailed to let us know that the approved day was still on. Scott and James arrived and did the work in two days. They were friendly, very efficient and cheerful. They were a pleasure to have around and kept everything tidy. All old cement was removed and disposed of cleanly. The cement mixing was contained in a plastic lipped tray and after they had cleaned up, hosed the pavings, etc, everything was clean as a whistle. I thoroughly recommend this firm and indeed I have requested an estimate for further work. It was good to work with an utterly trustworthy builder whose employees are cheerful, polite and highly professional.

After having several people quote for a full shed reroof Mike Carroll was the only one to quote an acceptable price including legal disposal of arisings which was not the case with marginally cheaper quotes and much less than the highest. Quote came quickly with the caveat that, due to workload, there was no certainty of being done sooner rather than later. Subsequently given a date in November but got called to say a team could do the work last week. I was happy to agree and 3 guys Alastair Sam and Tom came at 0800 and left mid afternoon having replaced the old roof with neat and tidy new boarding and rubber surface guaranteed for 20 years and a 2 year guarantee on workmanship. Everything was cleared away and they kept me informed about what they were doing so I remained happy. I would be very happy to use the company again.

We had new cement verges to the rear and front gables and bird-stop and EPS gutter to 2 side elevations done. Mike Carroll had given us a very fair quote and we had seen this company do a great job with the same work on our next-door neighbour's house last year. Scott, Josh and Tyler are a very skilled and efficient team who never seemed to rush the job but still made fast progress working without any shouting or needing loud music, no need to apologise to the neighbours. The team are very good and quick in adapting their own scaffolding and scaffold tower combination to accommodate our large pergola at the back and a full-width porch at the front of the house. This company for us has the equipment, the highly professional staff and, by using superior materials, our finished job is outstanding. Scott, Josh and Tyler were very accommodating, ever so good in cleaning and clearing up and, best of all, those three people are the most polite and pleasant people to have around that you could have wished for - Thank you all!
