Mike's team recently replaced the fascia, soffits and guttering on our 6 bedroom house. Work started on the day arranged, was completed within the timeframe agreed, to a good standard, and was carried out professionally by a group of pleasant, polite, hardworking young men. I have no hesitation in recommending Mike's services, and would mention that we had quotes which were very significantly more costly than Mike's.

We chose Mike and his team through local recommendation, signage outside then current works and his website.We have a semi detached cottage with the loft converted to a third bedroom with what was then a leaking dormer window, old metal guttering, wooden fascia's, old tiling...and not in the best of positions for access. Mike arrived as agreed and straight away we felt in safe hands. The initial request was for guttering and replacement fascia's, but after discussion around what would be needed in terms of access and scaffolding, we decided to have Mike look at the dormer cladding, roof of the dormer and front roof aspect which after discussion wasn't that much more in terms of money as I had thought, Mike's quote came in very competitively. Mike arranged the scaffolding company on our behalf and the work started on schedule, the teams were polite and courteous and to be honest we left them to get underway and you wouldn't know they were there to be honest, they were clean and tidy and knew exactly what they were doing and happy to chat on progress etc, battling through some poor weather too. Mike was only a phone call away. Halfway through the works, I decided to ask Mike about the rear aspect of the roof being done as well, this was no issue, it was late notice and Mike sorted the scaffolder's, getting it moved to the rear of the property and managed to re arrange his schedule to accommodate the longer time on site with us, which he was able to do. We are very pleased.

We needed the fascias,soffits and guttering renewed. We had builders come to look but nev heard from again .Thenheard about a chap who does just what we needed ,got in touch, he arrived fairly quickly and on time .Told me what was needed ,took pictures and sent an estimate that was acceptable. His team arrived as arranged ,did a first class job ,the neighbours loved them ,the work was done to a very high standard and after two days left leaving a very tidy site . Mike's team arrived on time and completed the job in the stated timescales. They did a nice neat job and left the place tidy. There was just one small problem with a badly scratched down-pipe but this was replaced quickly with no quibbles. Overall, then, highly recommended.

Mike and team replaced all soffits, gutters and fascia's on our house and made a very good job of it. The quality of the work is high and it was a pleasure to have such polite, prompt and tidy tradespeople around the house. In recent torrential rain we noticed a drip coming from the join of our gutter where it meets the neighbours. Contacted Mike and they quickly rectified this and re-positioned a slipped slate on our roof that they noticed - which was not their responsibility. We would have no hesitation in recommending Mike Carroll Ltd.

From initially contacting Mike I have received an excellent service. From the initial quote, Mike kindly clarified an aspect of the terms and conditions I didn't understand, a date for work to begin was agreed and then Mike contacted me a week beforehand to confirm the work would start on the agreed date (I was surprised at this as we had just experienced storm Brian and thought a previous job may have been delayed as a result). The 2 guys (Jerome and Sam) arrived on the first day, introduced themselves and explained what they would be doing. Each day they said what they would be doing and then ended the day by saying what they had achieved. They were very polite and well mannered. The work itself looks good - I had new fascias, soffits and guttering done, plus the gable end and ridge tiles re-cemented. The guys were very tidy with their work and cleared up at the end of each day. I'm very pleased and would HIGHLY recommend Mike Carroll and his team - thank you guys.

Our lead-lined valley gutter sprang a leak in recent heavy rain. Mike gave us a reasonable quote to replace it with Hertalan rubber so we decided to go ahead. Scott and Sam arrived very early on the date agreed and started work straight away. They were both very polite and friendly and kept us well-informed on the progress. The work took two days, during which they both worked extremely hard, with minimal breaks. We were very impressed. The work is very neat and they tidied up well after finishing. Considering that they were on our roof, we hardly knew they were there as the noise was minimal. I would recommend them without question.

Replaced facias, soffits & guttering on our garage, and fitted chimney cowl & checked condition. Excellent job, arrived on time even though it rained heavily. Due to weather conditions they returned promptly to complete the job. Work was of a high standard & they did a great job keeping things tidy - they had to access our neighbours property to complete the job and were very careful to leave their properties clean and tidy and undisturbed. Very honest company, they checked our chimney to see if any repairs were needed and informed us that the chimney was in good condition and needed no further work. Staff very friendly and happy to advise.

After ringing around to find a company to install a new flat roof on my parents house, I was given the number of Mike Carroll. From start to finish they have been a brilliant company to use. Friendly, competent, quick and tidy has resulted in a very neat new rubber roof. My mother is very pleased with the results and all at a good price. Highly recommend using this company.

Mr Carroll responded very promptly to my request for help, I accepted the quote and a replacement ridge tile was fitted within a few days by helpful and courteous members of his team. I was very relieved that the repair was attended to quickly and would certainly use his company again.

After obtaining 3separate quotes Mr Carroll’s was who we decided to go with..we were given a fair quote..and we couldn’t be happier with the end results..his team were excellent..got on with job..kept me informed through out and finished on time..kept debris as best as they could to minimum concidering the weather was windy..cleared and took everything away..even cleared and cleaned all the debris that had fallen into the neighbors property..I can certainly recommend Mr Carroll to others

From start to finish this is a great company to deal with. They were prompt, friendly and helpful. They did a great job (no expert but looks great) and were considerate workmen throughout, tidying up as they went along. After they had finished I had one small concern which I chatted to Mike about and when I got home three hours later it had been sorted! We had a complete fascia, soffit and gutters replacement completed by Mike Carroll’s team in November 2020. Our 1920s property had lots of difficult angles, old rafters and very long gutter runs with narrow fascias so lots of challenges which Mike pointed out when he quoted for the work. When the work started Scott and the team worked hard, were totally professional and polite at all times, and were a pleasure to have on site. They kept us informed of what they were doing and about solutions to any issues they encountered. They were very clean and tidy, and particularly respectful when they needed access via next-door’s drive. We had to wait a few months for the work to be done as Mike was so busy which is a good sign! We would be happy for Mike to do other roofing work on our property in future. Highly recommended

Mike Carroll kept us informed when bad weather delayed the job by two days. Scott and Alister turned up as advised every day, replaced our facias, soffits and guttering, plus additional cement and flat roof work. The site was keep clean and tidy and the guys kept us informed every step of the way. The guys were a utter joy and extremely helpful, and very respectful whilst on our neighbours property. The invoice was clear and concise exactly as quotation. The Guarantee was attached and l know that any problems or queries would be handled effectively and efficiently. Highly recommended.

The job looks great and really compliments the recent repaint to the house. Mikes' team did a great quality job, clearly explaining everything that they were doing and planned to do. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We're very pleased.

Mike and his team installed new fascias, gutters and some new felt to a flat roof above a Utility room in 2015. Excellent people to deal with and very professional and good workers, leaving the place clean and tidy. Some minor repairs were required to a leaking gutter, and a downpipe had come adrift from the gutter above. A phone to Mike Carroll set the repair in motion. Seven days later a team of two arrived, after phoning to make sure I was in. Quickly and efficiently repaired the leaking gutter with a 'new union joint' and sorted the downpipe which had come adrift from the gutter area. Good work by Scott and his assistant. Thanks.

This is the second time I have used Mike Carroll to replace guttering and again would highly recommend them. His team arrived on time, very professional, helpful and polite. Facia, Soffits, and guttering replaced on a bungalow. Garage roof also replaced. They were tidy and cleared away all rubbish. It was good to see them working well as team. From start to finish this has been a very easy and satisfactory process. My initial inquiry was quickly responded to, and the organizing of a suitable day and time to view and price the job went well. Mike turned up on time, and gave me a comprehensive breakdown of the job, what it entailed etc. The next day I received my quote, a breakdown of the job, terms and conditions, everything you would expect from a reputable company. The day the work started the team arrived on time, very polite and friendly. They just got on with the job, which was to remove old leaking metal guttering and replace with new plastic guttering.
