Mike and the team have done numerous jobs now for our family home. In 2023/4 we extended our home; Mike and his team did all the electrical works - relocating the main consumer unit, all the electrical installations in the new 2 storey extension (bedrooms, bathroom, office, garage), works included complex relocation and new boiler wiring (Worcester Bosch, with a Tado controller S-Plan system) - re-routing all feeds to the existing house; installation of dozens of CAT6 ethernet runs to central comms cabinet (runs to rooms, security systems and access points), outside lighting and relocating a transformer (ELV work) for a Reolink doorbell and some nice LED strip lighting in the bathroom. Throughout the works he ensured minimal disruption to a family home with two of us working from the property during the works - and managing in the most to keep the lights on and internet powered! We most recently had Mike back to install a secondary consumer unit with SPD, RCBO to feed a Wallbox 7kW EV charger. Again Mike and his apprentice were courteous, communicative and left a neat clean job. Even though it was a much smaller job, we received the same attention in the run up; and Mike turned up spot on time - and again co-ordinated well to endure our downtime in terms of the essential power outage was absolutely minimal and we could plan work schedule around it. Highly recommend Mike and the team and we’ll be using him again for anything we need in the future!

We had an old storage heater removed, along with associated wiring, also we had at different dates in same month a new bathroom extractor fan fitted, and a new outside security light fitted. All 3 of the visits resulted in first class work carried out by michael and his great team. With the internal floor protection was laid throughout work area, and any mess was hoovered up on completion. Anyone considering getting work carried out I would highly recommend michael.

Michael and his colleague did a thorough check of the wiring and electrical installations in my studio flat. It's recently been renovated and I had reasons for concern over the rewire that another company had done. Michael had prior knowledge of the property and the previous owner. At all times Michael was professional, friendly, and a clear communicator. He highlighted areas that needed fixing, explaining the issues and options and pricing. There was an issue with the water cylinder that persisted but we couldn't understand why it wasn't working. Michael contacted me the following week to say he was working nearby and could pop by to take another look, to determine if electrical or plumbing related. A bit of trouble shooting later and bingo, problem solved! No extra charge. I can't rate Michael and his team highly enough. Fabulous!

MJP Electrical carried out various electrical changes to our new bathrooms, including wiring the underfloor heating and lighting, along with new garden lights. The work carried out by Mike and his team was excellent and extremely good value. They were extremely courteous and we felt at ease leaving them to it in our home. Overall, we are really pleased with the quality, especially the communication given throughout the job.
