We live in a Maidenhead new build (8years old). One morning we came down to find none of the plugs working in the kitchen. I don't remember how I got hold of Matt, but I did! And thankgoodness, he came round with Callum and they both spent the best part of a day trying to sort the circuit. They managed to get all the sockets working but needed to return to finish the job when their other planned work allowed. That night, in the bedroom above the kitchen a socket blew when I turned on the bedside light. Clearly related to the kitchen issues, when Callum and Matt were able to return, they finished the job and we all deduced that the wiring had never been correctly done and that one bedroom socket had been wired into the kitchen plug circuit. Callum and Matt were not only professional and fixed the problem, but were extremity kind and helpful. BRILLIANT - 5 STARS!

Mat responded very quickly out of hours to my message regarding an electrical circuit failure. He tried very hard to diagnose the fault over the phone and arrived as promised the next working day to fix. He was thoroughly honest and efficient, solving the issue quickly and without any fuss. His knowledge and experience was clear to see, and he gave some great advice on how to deal with the problem if it happened again. I have no hesitation in recommending him and he will now be top of my list of tradesmen to call!

Mat and Callum were both amazing! They are both really kind and friendly and we loved having them over to fit our kitchen. They are both outstanding in the services they offer. We faced a few problems and they were not phased and came up with solutions. We absolutely love our kitchen. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Matt and his team fitted a kitchen and utility room and rewiring. Matt and his team worked to a very tight schedule that we created and fully delivered to this plan and on budget. There was never a moment when I had any concerns at all. There was regular communication on how things were tracking and the workmanship was fantastic. He even supported another trade with some marble worktop and splashbacks to help us. I have complete confidence in Matt and his team and all the work they did. With the job with Matt and team there was never any “this might be a problem, only effective solutions! A very professional, conscientious team who I would fully recommend!

Mat’s workmanship is excellent he’s is reliable and kept me updated when he would be arriving to fit the new light fixture in the bathroom He also cleared up after himself He also fitted a kitchen and new fuse box a few years ago for me, excellent workmanship which is why I chose MJP Kitchens & Electrical to do the new light fixture. Matt's team has again arrived as arranged to undertake both plumbing and electrical installation work and to clear a blocked kitchen sink drain. All work was carried out efficiently and expeditiously in a single visit. I highly recommend MJP Kitchens Electrical.

Mat has done many excellent jobs for us some big some small but always completed superbly in a vey professional and caring manner. He is a delight and it gives us so much confidence that we are able to use him for such a wide variety of jobs. World class you do not get better than this.

Without a shred of a doubt, I would very highly recommend Matt Pierson. He recently fitted my new kitchen and the finished product was way better than my expectations. It looks like a designer kitchen, absolutely stunning! Nothing was too much trouble for Mat and his attention to detail was second to none. He was even able to adapt a cupboard to suit my particular needs. He is extremely professional and indeed, a true craftsman. The work he carries out is exemplary. He was at all times, very respectful of my home and didn't leave at the end of the day until everything was tidy. His young colleague Callum was very hard working, pleasant and extremely respectful. Mat fitted my kitchen last week to such a high standard. He is meticulous, tidy and efficient and I had complete confidence in everything he was doing. The kitchen looks amazing. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now. It is rare to find someone this good.

I needed to get two ring mains on the same circuit to get WIFI to a computer in a different location to the router through plug-in ethernet connections. Mathew sorted this out for me very quickly and also did tests to find one socket needed replacing. His prompt action was greatly appreciated.

I found Mat/MJP on Which? Trusted Trader and could see all the great reviews. We were replacing/moving an oven so needed some electrics moved. In addition we needed the old oven and extractor fan removed and decommissioned, and some new cupboards and lights installed. Mat gave a competitive quote. There were some last minute stresses to deal with due to a number of different moving parts - and Mat was very accommodating to arrive early to dovetail with the arrival of the new range cooker. He got all the work done efficiently, took all the rubbish away and cleaned up at the end of the day. He is a lovely guy, very skilled and I cannot fault his work. I can very much recommend him.

I needed a replacement hob for a rental flat that I have. Mat sourced various option for me to review and once chosen ordered and had the new hob fitted within the same week. Very pleased with such excellent service

Mat and his assistant Callum installed my new Howdens kitchen plus associated electrical work. Mat used his obvious expertise and long experience to offer invaluable advice at the planning stage and the installation itself was carried out to a very high standard and in a timely manner. The polite and friendly disposition of both Mat and his assistant made the process stress-free and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking to refurbish a kitchen or have any electrical work done.

I had an insinkerator fitted along with plug socket (required for insinkerator), additional plug socket in cupboard for scale guard box and under cupboard lighting. It is very difficult to find someone who will do plumbing and electrics but in Mat I found this. Did a great job and is very friendly and helpful. I had a leak under the kitchen sink which Mat responded to immediately late on a Friday afternoon which turned out to not be related to what he fitted but resolved it quickly without charge. I highly recommend Mat

He came over to fix a plug in our kitchen that went bang, he fixed instantly and gave us great advice about best installing our new integrated dishwasher. He’s reliable, hardworking and knows his stuff!

We had a light fitting fail which fused all the lights every time it was switched on I called a couple of electricians who couldn’t be bothered with such a small job. Matt came round to have a look and thought it might be necessary to take up the floor in the bedroom upstairs. When he came back to do the job he said he had been thinking about it and that the problem could be in the light fitting itself even though it appeared to be sound. He took it down, tested it and the short was inside the fitting. I agreed to go and buy a replacement and Matt came out to fit it. This he did early in the morning a day or so later. A very neat and quick job. All in all he only charged me half a day for coming round three times and also gave me some free and useful advice about induction jobs (which he will be fitting when we get round to buying one) I was very pleased to have found Matt. Someone who is willing to do the small jobs as well as the big projects

Matt has done few things in our place. Always great job and very quick response. We even had emergency advice over the phone. Work is always professionally done, high standard, equipped with experience.

Matt extended my sons bedroom, put in a new stud wall, moved the electrics and the plastered the ceiling and walls. The work was done quickly and to a very high standard, with little disruption and always very tidy and clean. Would highly recommend Matt as the work was completed to a high standard and was inside the budget we had for this project.

New Kitchen fitted all the work he did was done very well and we are very pleased with everything, also he went the extra mile in overcoming problems.

Mathew is an excellent workman; he came when he said he would, did a very good efficient job solving my electrical problem and left everything clean and tidy, I was absolutely delighted with the result and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. In fact if I have any other household problems at all, I now know who to call, and it won't be Ghostbusters!
