I have used Matt before and this time it was to rewire my house. As usual, nothing is too much trouble and I really appreciate that the job went on longer than expected as other trades had to come in before he could do his bit. I would definitely recommend Matt.

We had a light fitting fail which fused all the lights every time it was switched on I called a couple of electricians who couldn’t be bothered with such a small job. Matt came round to have a look and thought it might be necessary to take up the floor in the bedroom upstairs. When he came back to do the job he said he had been thinking about it and that the problem could be in the light fitting itself even though it appeared to be sound. He took it down, tested it and the short was inside the fitting. I agreed to go and buy a replacement and Matt came out to fit it. This he did early in the morning a day or so later. A very neat and quick job. All in all he only charged me half a day for coming round three times and also gave me some free and useful advice about induction jobs (which he will be fitting when we get round to buying one) I was very pleased to have found Matt. Someone who is willing to do the small jobs as well as the big projects

I found Mat/MJP on Which? Trusted Trader and could see all the great reviews. We were replacing/moving an oven so needed some electrics moved. In addition we needed the old oven and extractor fan removed and decommissioned, and some new cupboards and lights installed. Mat gave a competitive quote. There were some last minute stresses to deal with due to a number of different moving parts - and Mat was very accommodating to arrive early to dovetail with the arrival of the new range cooker. He got all the work done efficiently, took all the rubbish away and cleaned up at the end of the day. He is a lovely guy, very skilled and I cannot fault his work. I can very much recommend him.

Without a shred of a doubt, I would very highly recommend Matt Pierson. He recently fitted my new kitchen and the finished product was way better than my expectations. It looks like a designer kitchen, absolutely stunning! Nothing was too much trouble for Mat and his attention to detail was second to none. He was even able to adapt a cupboard to suit my particular needs. He is extremely professional and indeed, a true craftsman. The work he carries out is exemplary. He was at all times, very respectful of my home and didn't leave at the end of the day until everything was tidy. His young colleague Callum was very hard working, pleasant and extremely respectful. I would not hesitate in using this company again.

Matt and his team fitted a kitchen and utility room and rewiring. Matt and his team worked to a very tight schedule that we created and fully delivered to this plan and on budget. There was never a moment when I had any concerns at all. There was regular communication on how things were tracking and the workmanship was fantastic. He even supported another trade with some marble worktop and splashbacks to help us. I have complete confidence in Matt and his team and all the work they did. With the job with Matt and team there was never any “this might be a problem, only effective solutions! A very professional, conscientious team who I would fully recommend!

Mathew installed eight down lights in our bedroom with very little disruption. He was speedy and yet the neatness and quality of his work was exceptional. I would highly recommend this company.

Mat fitted our kitchen for us and has done an absolutely fantastic job,He also fitted a new fuse box for us,His workmanship to every detail is phenomenal,mat was very safety conscious and easy to talk to and polite and did'nt mind me asking any questions,he even tidied and cleaned at the end of each day and the communal area. We highly recommend MJP kitchens excellent job .

We have used Mat before as he is very skilled and reliable. He has refurbished our 30 year old kitchen and brought it into the modern era. He doesn't cut corners and is extremely skillful. On top of being a very experienced kitchen fitter he is also a qualified electrician. His work was completed on time and on budget as well as being clean and tidy.

I had an insinkerator fitted along with plug socket (required for insinkerator), additional plug socket in cupboard for scale guard box and under cupboard lighting. It is very difficult to find someone who will do plumbing and electrics but in Mat I found this. Did a great job and is very friendly and helpful. I had a leak under the kitchen sink which Mat responded to immediately late on a Friday afternoon which turned out to not be related to what he fitted but resolved it quickly without charge. I highly recommend Mat

Matt fitted a new cooker hood for us, he did a first class job, very pleased with job he did and would certainly recommend his work,to my friends and neighbours. Thanks for a good job Matt. Mike Welsh.

New Kitchen fitted all the work he did was done very well and we are very pleased with everything, also he went the extra mile in overcoming problems.

Matt extended my sons bedroom, put in a new stud wall, moved the electrics and the plastered the ceiling and walls. The work was done quickly and to a very high standard, with little disruption and always very tidy and clean. Would highly recommend Matt as the work was completed to a high standard and was inside the budget we had for this project.

He came over to fix a plug in our kitchen that went bang, he fixed instantly and gave us great advice about best installing our new integrated dishwasher. He’s reliable, hardworking and knows his stuff!

Matt's team has again arrived as arranged to undertake both plumbing and electrical installation work and to clear a blocked kitchen sink drain. All work was carried out efficiently and expeditiously in a single visit. I highly recommend MJP Kitchens Electrical.

Mat has done many excellent jobs for us some big some small but always completed superbly in a vey professional and caring manner. He is a delight and it gives us so much confidence that we are able to use him for such a wide variety of jobs. World class you do not get better than this.

Mat responded very quickly out of hours to my message regarding an electrical circuit failure. He tried very hard to diagnose the fault over the phone and arrived as promised the next working day to fix. He was thoroughly honest and efficient, solving the issue quickly and without any fuss. His knowledge and experience was clear to see, and he gave some great advice on how to deal with the problem if it happened again. I have no hesitation in recommending him and he will now be top of my list of tradesmen to call!
