Morgan Thomas Construction started with a very reasonable estimate for the work and then cheerfully and sympathetically renegotiated the work timings around a family bereavement - without any significant delays. The work proved to be more complex that I at least expected (once Edwardian panels and sashes were revealed). Nevertheless, the firm returned, promptly, on several occasions to do additional joinery and carpentry and refit and add adaptions to the work until I was completely satisfied. At all times they were cheerful, polite, tidy and really professionally focussed. My windows face north and open land. I wanted sash windows that fitted the house features AND a substantial improvement in my insulation. I have received both. I would commission further work from this firm without hesitation.

The quality and craftsmanship of the work this firm did on our Georgian terraced house was superb. We were having the cracked old lead replaced on the roof when it was discovered that the big dormer windows were in bad condition and also needed replacing. We quickly had to find someone to make and install new ones while the scaffolding was up. We found Morgan Thomas Construction from Which local -- and were very glad we did. They liaised carefully with the roofers so necessary lead work linked with the windows was carried out in the weather-limited time between the new and old ones being fitted. We then asked the firm to make and replace, or repair, some other damaged windows, and paint the exterior. The skills of the all the friendly people involved _ including joiners, carpenters, painters _ were excellent. Matthew Conn, the leading partner, professionally organised the work and we really appreciated that he came round at the end to inspect, and confirm that it had been finished to the highest of standards. Even at this level of quality, the cost was very fair and reasonable.

Matthew and his team were great, they made a built in cupboard for us with sliding doors which looks fantastic. They were prompt and tidy and also the painter Andrew was brilliant. We are very happy with their work and their price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend them!

For fitting double-glazed wooden sashes, they are brilliant. Good quality wood, and the fitting itself done with no fuss. They've now replaced all my old sashes, and the new ones are fantastic. No draughts, less traffic noise from outside, and the house much warmer. I recommended them to my neighbours, and they're just as pleased.

I used this firm to completely refurbish a large bay window and to upgrade the windows to double glazing, with draft proofing and new security locks. The team did a great job, keeping me informed leading up to the job and the guys who came to install the windows were all professional. I'm really pleased with the job that the team did and I would certainly use them again.

Undertook as variety of work: new spindles, fitting wooden plinth to bottom of doorstep to fit new entrance door and bolts, rehanging doors and fitting new hinges and draught proofing strips. The work was of an exceptionally high standard and was incredibly good value for money and the workmen were very pleasant and helpful in working to meet my requirements. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Matthew Conn and his excellent team have done many jobs for us over the years, in this and our last house, including building hall coat cupboards, putting in a handbuilt kitchen (we got it made elsewhere) building hallway wardrobes, boxing in pipes with cupboard and fitted mirror and building bespoke wardrobes. They are expert in proportion and style, and can make useful suggestions to assist design. We had many items made shaker style, but they can do all types from Victorian to modern. They have a joinery shop where they make the doors and large carcasses and carpenters fit on site. They arrive on time, leave a very tidy site each night and are thoroughly reliable. Though not the cheapest, frankly around here there are a lot of cowboys woho would only leave you disappointed so we always go back to Morgan Thomas.
