I came across James when I needed a report of what my gutter problem was, as I was getting conflicting reports from different roofers and a poor job from the last one who replaced my gutter. James wrote a comprehensive report with photos explaining the problem, and despite the neighbours lack of cooperation found a solution for my house gutter and replaced a few dislodged tiles in the process. I found James very friendly and helpful and ready to go the extra mile. I strongly recommend him without hesitation.

I want to say that I am extremely pleased with the work James and his team have done on my roof. From the first time I met James to request a quote, I have found him very helpful, answered all my questions and was always very approachable and friendly. His workmanship and that of his team was outstanding. They were always hardworking, polite, arrived early every morning to start work and always cleaned up before they went home at the end of the day. The job was done to the agreed schedule and for the price quoted. The roof looks fantastic and I highly recommend James, Albert, Lewis and Rick for roofing work. I contacted Moston Roofing Ltd by phone in February to get a quote for roofing work that was required at my property and was told that someone would get back to me to organise a site visit and a quote. Having heard nothing more than a week later I contacted them again and later that day I received a call to arrange a site visit which took place a few days later. A very pleasant chap called James came and we discussed the work required in addition to some optional maintenance work and he said he would let me have a quote in due course. The following day I received the quote, but it included a total for the work I had originally requested and the additional maintenance work. I contacted James by email to request a breakdown of the quote as I was not sure I wanted all the work done at the same time. A week or so later as I had not received a response I emailed again and sent text messages direct to James. It is now some 4 weeks later, and I still have not received a response. Not what I would call good customer service.

James and William did a terrific job on our house. Guttering replaced, new Tudor front board fitted, fascia on four gable ends. We were kept informed throughout the process and they completed the work within the agreed timeframe. Thoroughly recommend.

James was punctual (always a great thing to witness in a skilled tradesman), informative and provided a detailed quote that he delivered against. He gave us options to choose from; advising on the pros & cons of each option and was meticulous in carrying out the job. It was great to see someone taking pride in his work and we are really happy with the end result - money well spent. Highly recommended.

A leak in the dining room, in the middle of redecorating the room, required a quick and confident response from a roofer. After having contacted James by phone, he arrived the following day and spent quite some time with us to explain the problem in some detail and advised us on the work that was needed. Within a couple of days he sent us a detailed and fully itemized quote. As agreed the work commenced on 6th June. The entire team was most courteous, very hardworking, and professional. James kept us informed about how the work was progressing at every stage and fully took account of our requests. Minor additional work that was required was all incorporated into the job, which finished bang on time and on budget. The result was a splendid new roof, great-looking new cladding and guttering, all finished off with care and precision. Even the post-job cleanup was done really well. James has a real passion for his job and pride in what he does; that makes all the difference. We are delighted with the final result and would unreservedly highly recommend him and his team.

From start to finish the customer service has been excellent. James turned up at the agreed time to provide a quote and advising on options for flat roof replacement-quote provided and next steps agreed, great communication keeping us updated on start date. James and team turned up as agreed to complete a very professional job, the team were experienced and went the extra mile on a complex extension roof. Great service, no mess - professional and reliable with great communication throughout - would recommend.

James carried out a drone survey of a house we're in the process of buying. He was brilliant from start to finish. We needed it done in a hurry and he underpromised and over delivered on timelines, and was informative and approachable through the whole process. I can't recommend him highly enough.

James was superb from start to finish. For starters, he actually turned up on the day and the time he said he would, which seems a rare skill these days! He gave us a price (which seemed very fair for the work involved) within a day or two of looking at the job and within 2 weeks the job is done, looking better than we could have imagined, putting 'verge capping' on all gable ends (for the untrained like me: PVC liner to eliminate constant battle of repairing and painting cracking concrete at gable end under the slates!) Fantastic job, clean worker, stayed until job completed. When doing this work, spotted some other minor repairs, which he just sorted, no added cost onto the bill What a star!
