Couldn't be happier with the service received. Inquired about moving a large sofa bed up an extremely narrow set of stairs and received a very fair quote and a call out the next working day. One trader had already failed to move this so I was close to giving up hope, but the guys from Moving Mountains solved the issue with some impressive problem solving skills on the spot. Made it look easy which is the sign of some quality professionals. Will definitely be returning to them in the future.

Tom and his team were absolutely excellent. I would unhesitatingly recommend them. They arrived the day before our move and packed our belongings with the minimum of fuss, and were professional and accommodating. The move itself was also very smooth. They arrived exactly as arranged, and moved everything calmly and smoothly, and could not have been more helpful. Pricing was clear and Zane in the office was very helpful. The team were absolutely lovely when I (very annoyingly) asked them to move a chest of drawers into a difficult spot downstairs, and then changed my mind and asked them to take it away again - they were nothing but helpful. I had to move out of my flat on the second floor of the house to have some building work done, and used Moving Mountains to remove and store the contents. In the end, the building work lasted five months (it should have been two). The team at Moving Mountains was fantastic from start to finish. Zane in the office was responsive, helpful and reassuring - always swift to respond and providing clear answers when I needed them. The original quote was based on a video I took of the flat and was very reasonable. I had to keep extending the storage and it was also very reasonable to do so. In terms of the moves out and then back, Tom, Anton, Ganesh and Jacob were just fabulous - they packed everything up and moved the lot, and then brought it all back again. And it really was everything - television, big furniture, kitchen stuff etc. And nothing was damaged - it had all been packed and handled with the greatest of care. I hope I don’t have to move again but I will be recommending Moving Mountains to anyone else who does.

As others have written, the service was brilliant from start to finish. The first moment I met Tom I understood that he was serious in understanding my needs. I am a 76 year old widow downsizing house after 36 happy years and needed a lot of guidance and help which was provided at each step by the incredibly patient, efficient and caring Zane at the other end of the phone. The quote I received after having contacted several other moving companies was the most reasonable and transparent. Everything was itemised and explained simply and rationally. No loop holes for extras to be added on at the last minute. The rest of the team who packed one day before the moving day and then managed to store everything into a double garage space as if by magic, were awe inspiring. Friendly, hard working and always re-assuring. I'd give this company 7 stars if you had that category!

I was relocating from Kingston-upon-Thames to Scotland. This involved not only removals but also storage of my possessions until I found my new home. From start to finish my contact with Moving Mountains took place over the course of 7 months. From my first enquiry, to providing quotes, organising the removal of unwanted items, storage and removals the service was excellent. The quote was clear and comprehensive and any queries were replied to promptly - great customer service. On moving days everything went very smoothly and potentially stressful experiences were avoided. From the first visit to the completion of the job, this house moving company was thorough, knowledgeable and helpful. We approached 3 companies and Moving Mountains were our preferred option from the outset as they really seemed to know what they were doing and took time to ascertain what we needed. The admin person at their office was very helpful both on the phone and email while we had some toing and froing about dates, and then with keeping us informed or answering queries leading up to the move date. Packing team did a really thorough job; items which we were not taking to the new place were cleared efficiently the day before the move; and the move day itself went very smoothly. The office contacted us shortly afterwards to check that everything had gone OK before submitting an invoice for the balance. The whole operation was everything we needed in a house moving service, which can be a pretty stressful time and you really appreciate suppliers you can rely on. Highly recommended.

After a bereavement, I had to move all my belongings from London to Scotland. The prospect was stressful, not having moved house in nearly 20 years. I chose Moving Mountains because of their glowing reviews on Which? but even so wondered whether a removal company really could be that good. On the basis of my experience, they certainly are. From the initial contact to the aftercare, I have rarely experienced such superb customer service from any company, let alone a removal company. In setting up the move, there was no rush or hassle, and when I constantly changed my mind about the volume of stuff I needed moved, there was complete understanding, and the quote was duly adjusted. On packing day, Tom and his team took care of everything. No detail too small. Always polite and helpful and smiling with a can-do attitude. They asked questions I never thought of, to make sure everything was perfect. Everything wrapped and boxed, boxes clearly labelled. The following working day they loaded two vans, again, taking great care with items big and small. And today they delivered all my things, checking where I wanted everything, building a bed and tables... checking constantly that things were they way I needed. Their team of 4 guys turned up promptly, assessed the rooms and furniture as already quoted for, and quickly and carefully dismantled furniture, removed, and reassembled smoothly within the day and quoted timescale. The service received from all the team at Moving Mountains has been first-rate throughout the whole process. Zane promptly replied to our queries and provided a clear and comprehensive quote. We had quite a lot of stuff to move from Epsom to Suffolk. Tom and the team of packers and movers were brilliant. Stuff from the garage & loft was packed up a week before the move and taken into storage. Tom, Ganesh and Elvis did an excellent job in packing up breakables & small items. There were also some pretty heavy items to move - three large filing cabinets and a cross-trainer machine. All moved to our new house without any issues or problems. Furniture which was dismantled was all put back together at the new property. Communication from Zane and Tom throughout was excellent - e.g. texting in advance to say when delivery of stored items was due to happen. Both my wife and I would like to thank Tom and his team for the very efficient, speedy and cheerful way they went about the move. They made a potentially stressful process go very smoothly.

I decided to use Moving Mountains on the recommendation of family members that had used their service. I opted for the packing service, which was definitely great value for money. All items were packed professionally and nothing was damaged. I liked their environmental credentials and opted to use second hand boxes for a reduced cost. After disassembling my furniture, they then made sure I was happy with where it was placed and reassembled everything in my new property. All boxes were placed in rooms of my request as well. All in all I was very happy with the service and wouldn’t hesitate using them again for my next move.

In December I was making a major two hundred and fifty mile move from a three-bed flat in London to a three-bed bungalow in West Wales. Prior to the move I received many leaflets in the post from removal companies and was quite daunted about which company to choose. I decided to see what removal companies Which recommended, and I am so pleased that I did. I read all the reviews for the local companies on the Which website and made my final selection to get quotes. Of all the companies Moving Mountains Removals impressed me the most in terms of professionalism, communication, approachability and price. The admin side was superb; from the first email to deposit to the final payment. The site visit was professional yet friendly and on the day itself, the boys arrived punctually, worked incredibly hard and suffered inclement weather but were an absolute joy to be around. This was a two-day job and so my furniture was delivered in Wales the following morning just as Storm Bara hit. Absolutely soaked themselves, they endeavoured to make sure my furniture remained dry and each piece was looked after and carefully taken into my new home and placed where it was meant to be. In conclusion, I thoroughly recommend this company to anyone and would have no hesitation in using them again. Five stars all the way and one hundred percent satisfaction from me.

We were downsizing from a townhouse to an apartment and moving just before Christmas with some last-minute delays in the exchange and completion dates. We first contacted We Move Mountains in early 2021 to help our house move and storage. We were slightly unusual in that we needed the majority of stuff to go into storage but some to be moved to a temporary house as our main house would not be ready till December 2021. From our first discussion with Zane in the office, everything moved very seamlessly with clarity on costs for the exact services that we were requiring as well as them fitting in with the different facets of our move and providing us with a storage facility for our needs. For our move, Tom led his team brilliantly throughout, turning up on time and loading and packing all the stuff we had into their vans over a couple of days. We ended up not needing one part of the move which they kindly refunded us for, which they did not need to do but a sign of the brilliant service they gave throughout. All of our stuff was handled securely and safely throughout. Once the initial move was done, our storage facility was confirmed and invoiced through We Move Mountains monthly. When it came time to move into our new house, Zane handled all the organising brilliantly and also set up an unpacking service for us. On the days of the move, all the timings were clearly given and Tom, James & Henry then handled everything for us over two days, providing great service and finishing early. Again, they treated everything safely and securely, responded to whatever we required and refunded the time we did not use. Amazing service!

The team were completely professional and polite throughout the process - planning, packing, loading and unloading. They were respectful and worked with us to understand which things went to storage and which to the new house. We move mountains were excellent. Communication was really easy via email, phone and WhatsApp. Invoicing was really straightforward. No hidden insurance charges or anything else. They were also really upfront about being flexible. We weren't sure if we were going to need storage for example. I Had a great experience using Moving Mountains. I have never used packers and movers before but it really was worth every penny, and recycled cardboard box! Zane my first point of contact, she explained the whole process to me and was always available with answers to my questions, she made me feel confident I had made the right choice. On the day of the move Tom and his team arrived exactly on time, they packed up my flat quickly and also collected items from a storage unit. They handled everything with care as if it were their own. Certain items had to be dismantled and were reassembled in the new property. The whole process took less time than I expected. I have now unpacked and all the boxes which have been collected by Tom to be recycled, this made by bill even cheaper. I would highly recommend them for your next move. I can’t thank these guys enough. I contacted asking for a quote, sent a quick walkthrough video of our property and within a few days we received a very competitive quote. Before accepting we had a few conveyancing issues but thankfully Zane had plenty patience and flexibility for us. On moving day the guys arrived bang on time. The weather was atrocious however they placed protective covering throughout our flat to keep it as clean as possible. They made short work of our belongings, swiftly and professionally loading our things. We had an unexpected issue whereby a door and door frame needed to be removed for access. Taking it in their stride they had the door off in about 5mins. We would have panicked, caused damage and no doubt made a huge mess but they have the expertise to conduct such work safely and all without extra charge! Zane was really friendly and helpful throughout, even arranging the parking permits for us in our street. The team arrived promptly and completed packing down by 2pm. I cannot rate this company highly enough. My recent large house move from London to Brighton had been plagued by issues. However, Moving Mountains restored my faith in people. From the initial contact, Zane was professional but also kind and helpful. The quote was also very competitive. And on the day Tom and his team of guys were all kind, friendly, fast, efficient and made me feel calm about the move. Not one item was broken and no walls or doorways were damaged. They cleared my 5 bed house in 2.5 hours and put all boxes and built furniture in all the new rooms in the new house in 2 hours. The best removal company I've ever used. We needed to move our 4 bedroom house in April. Efficient and fast reply to emails and easy process, great price, boxes delivered with plenty of wrapping. The guys on the day were amazing. Very friendly, helpful and fast at packing the vans. Anything that needed dismantling was completed perfectly with no fuss and reassembled. Boxes were collected the week after. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and in fact, I have been!

They were on time, kept me updated, expressed only mild concern when I was 40 minutes late meeting them. Her aftercare call was marked by her typical close listening, and confirming what we agreed. Moving Mountains understands that house moves involve wallops of cash flow. They invoiced me the second half of the fees two weeks after our move. Moving Mountains offered the most competitive rates I found in 20 years in the UK, US, Europe. This business is a treasure. You do not need a mythical hero or a magical wand to move safely.

Zane and his team were excellent throughout from providing the initial quote through to the moving day itself. Communication was excellent and I always felt like everything was in hand and taken care of. On the day, Tom and team were brilliant. All items were packed, moved and delivered with care including some of my most treasured items: a record player, vinyl collection, an electric piano, a handmade guitar and around 20 houseplants! Our first phone contact with Zane in the office set the tone for the whole move. Zane was super-efficient, friendly, always calm and flexible when our arrangements were in flux, and generally inspired confidence, which it turned out was well-placed. We were moving out of London after 24 years in the same large house, so we were quite nervous about the upheaval, but the team made everything work smoothly. Packing materials were delivered exactly when they were promised, we were given good advice on how to pack the items we were packing ourselves, which were mainly books, and Tom and his team arrived on time to do an excellent job over two days packing the rest, and clearing the items we needed to dispose of. The whole team, were unfailingly polite and helpful both during the packing and on the day of the move which happened without incident in a snowstorm. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble, even when we were changing our minds about where heavy pieces of furniture needed to go. I don't normally leave reviews but these guys really deserve credit for a first-rate service throughout, including to the follow-up call the day afterwards to check whether everything was ok. We didn't get any other estimates so I can't comment on whether they were competitive, but their estimate seemed reasonable and we were billed exactly as per the agreement.

Their quote for packing and moving was quite a bit more reasonable than that of several other companies I contacted, and their service was first-rate. All communication ahead of the move was prompt and helpful, and the team on the day did a wonderful job. They arrived exactly at 8 am, packed and loaded everything from our one-bed flat in less than 3 hours, and had everything unloaded at our new house in less than an hour. Everything was very carefully packed, including all fragile items. We were also offered the opportunity to use second-hand boxes, which saved us even more money and was also more environmentally friendly. I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

We Move Mountains relocated us from Kingston to York having been the only organisation to come and view the property and contents before very competitively quoting which reassured us they would have space and accurate timings planned. Zane responded to all emails and calls promptly and with clarity and understanding of our lack of experience! We chose to pack ourselves due to having to sort belongings anyway as stuff was going in 3 different directions but we wouldn’t hesitate to suggest they would pack efficiently and carefully. They arrived as agreed at 8am and worked at such an incredible pace we were unpacking over 200 miles away by 4pm. Tom and Cris who did the removals were efficient, hardworking and helpful. All furniture arrived without issue, undamaged and was reassembled when required and moved around when requested. This wasn't the cheapest quote I got for the move, but after comparing reviews, I decided to go with We Move Mountains. It was money well spent! After issues with much more local moves, the ease and professionalism of using this company was more than worth the slightly more expensive cost. I'll definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.

Moving Mountains helped us move and I cannot recommend them highly enough for their services. Even before the moving date, Zane in their office was the main point of contact in coordinating, scheduling the move and dealt with all our queries patiently and professionally. Zane was very helpful and understood the stresses involved with a house move. On the day of the move, Tom and Andy arrived exactly on time. Professional, polite, friendly, hard working guys! It was a quick turn around too, they were very organised and efficiently loaded all our belongings into their van and unloaded them into the new house into the rooms required. They have been extremely responsive and accommodating, making moving across London during a global pandemic and heatwave (and with a 3 month old baby!) completely stress-free. They moved everything without me having to even be there and accommodated a number of additional requests along the way. The Moving Mountains team were incredibly helpful and accommodating prior, during and after the move. We had a combination of relocation, clearance and scrap metal, to complicate the job, and the entire thing went seamlessly. Tom and the team were very professional and friendly and took a great deal of care to ensure that they were not disruptive to any of the surrounding businesses or residents. The billing was fair and adjusted to reflect the actual person hours that the job took. I would absolutely use them again and would recommend to them to anyone.

Moving Mountains supported us in moving from London to Berkshire. They could not have been better. Before the move they were helpful, came round to take photographs, understood just how much is involved in moving and just made it a pleasure to deal. Tom was great. Tom and his team helped us have a smooth move at a reasonable price. Communication was excellent from first contact and they were punctual for the original meeting to discuss a quote and also on the day of moving. They took time to pack carefully and at the destination took everything to the room it needed to go to. They went above and beyond expectations by willingly helping to move two large wardrobes upstairs that had not formed part of the move and so were not really their responsibility. They were friendly and helpful throughout and we definitely recommend them.

We hired Moving Mountains to do a full packing service plus removal. They responded quickly to all of our questions during the entire process, and gave us a super reasonable quote, which ended up matching the final invoice. The Moving Mountains team were calm, efficient and made this experience much less stressful than we had anticipated, particularly when Hackney Council messed up our parking suspension.

Moving Mountains gave us excellent service in our move from Kingston upon Thames to Gloucestershire and simultaneously to Richmond. They packed up the family home of three decades, including works of art that required special cases to be made, and moved us partly to a new house and partly to a flat. Their administration was excellent and gave a clear schedule of the work to be done and supporting information about insurance, etc. The move took four days, including packing. The team were courteous, careful and helpful beyond all expectation, yet worked very efficiently. We would recommend Moving Mountains without hesitation.

I have used Moving Mountains for every house/flat move I've had (4+ over the last 3 years) and have recommended them to my friends and family due to their excellent service. They are diligent in checking the parking situation near the pick up/moving location before arriving and always arrive on time, allowing you to plan your move out efficiently. They are careful, quick and know exactly how to transport delicate items. I will continue using them for as long as they offer the service. The pricing is thankfully clear unlike many other moving companies who like to add on hidden extras once the move has started.

When we were looking for a removal company I had 3 companies off the Which Trusted Traders website. Only one responded but the minute I met Tom I knew his company was perfect for us. We had to do a double move - first put our furniture into storage near our previous address and then on to our new address. Tom and his team were extremely professional and everything went like clockwork. I can't thank them enough for their services. When the time came to move from the original storage depot we trusted Tom implicitly to move everything without us having to be there. When MM arrived at the new house we still needed to put some furniture in storage, although we didn't realise this until we got to the new house, Tom and team delivered furniture to the house and then the surplus onto storage unit. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Punctual arrival at 8.30 onthe dot and van loaded with great care and efficiency in 90 mins. Unloaded in the West Country with equal care and patience at our indecision. Moving mountains helped with our move from London to France. They were very helpful in the early stages of estimating volume and giving all the relevant information. Packing material was delivered promptly and was very sturdy. They were on time and smiling on the day of the move. The lorry was packed speedily and carefully. All furniture was well protected. We then met them at our new property in France as agreed. They arrived on time (before us!) and the lorry was unpacked in a flash!!! Despite the oppressive heat!!! Nothing was broken or damaged in any way. Overall, a very friendly and professional service, done with a smile despite the heat wave. We also appreciate the fact that the company gives to charity (TEARfund). We would highly recommend Moving Mountains!
