I am very pleased with the bedroom windows. After an initial problem with one window, which was resolved very quickly, all done on the dates stated. The workmanship was first class, would recommend.

Replacement of pane in conservatory roof ,repair to door and clearing of roof debris /guttering- carried out very professionally, efficiently and tidily.A minor problem following installation which was remedied very quickly on the same day.Mike and Chris obviously take pride in their work and this is reflected in the outcome. They were also very pleasant and willing to help. I will use their services again and highly recommend MPB Windows .

Mike provided a comprehensive site survey, which highlighted the latest standards for toughened glass in windows close to floor level. The quote was competitive and the delivery and fitting followed very quickly. Very happy with the service.

Why I chose MPB Windows I considered a number of companies. I wanted a local company as I feel the national companies focus more on winning business than delivering the product. A local company lives and dies by the quality of their work. I only considered companies with excellent customer reviews. I also looked at reviews of the company that manufactured the windows MPB use. On meeting Mike he was helpful and professional. He ensured he understood what I wanted (and that I understood what I would get) rather than other companies who, I felt, pushed towards what they wanted to sell. The quote was competitive. How did it go? Very happy with the communication and admin throughout and, most importantly, very happy with the work. No problems encountered so far but I feel confident if any do emerge Mike will be anxious to resolve them quickly.

We recently had a window replacement from MPB on the recommendation of a friend. Mike visited to measure up to confirm the quote and was very courteous and friendly. The materials were put on order straight away and the lead times quoted were accurate. Chris came to complete the work yesterday, arrived bang on time and was again, courteous and friendly. The work was done efficiently and to a great standard, and the quote was incredibly good value compared to the others I’d received from more National companies that google had told me about. We have a bit more work to do later down the line and I absolutely will not hesitate to get back in touch with MPB.

I had a new front and back door fitted. From start to finish nothing was too much trouble. Mike gave me advice which was extremely helpful, the quote was well within my budget and the work carried out to a very high standard. From start to finish the service that I received from Mike Barclay Windows was outstanding. Mike contacted me promptly replying to my enquiry about a quote for renewing the double glazing in my property. He came out personally at my convenience to give me a quote. He was professional and very personable. His quote was very competitive and I told him that what had drawn me to his company were the excellent reviews and the fact that his reviews were in “Which” gave me greater confidence. It was about two months from the quote to the fitting which took place over three days 11th-13th January. The two fitters, Chris and Kieran were excellent. They were SUCH tidy and efficient workers, clearing up after themselves and taking away all the old window frames. Full house window replacement - 13 windows. Very pleased with the service, quality, and price. Price quoted came in significantly under our expected budget. Excellent installation, the quality of the finish both internal and external is perfect. Some minor issues with delays to parts due to COVID, but this was explained and understandable.

Michael Barclay at MPB Windows was helpful and professional from my first contact with him through to completion of the job. Michael provided the quotation for the work, survey of the property and completed the fitting during this difficult period of Coronavirus restrictions so all communication had to be by telephone and email. There was a delay in the supply of the windows but this was due to issues at the factory caused by the shut down and Michael kept me informed throughout. He sent brochures and the additional technical information I needed and responded to my queries/emails/texts promptly and professionally. As the property is currently let he had to co-ordinate dates/times with both myself and the tenants, which he was happy to do, and the tenants described the installation as "very good and efficient". The windows are the style/appearance I wanted and my property is much improved. The price Michael quoted was competitive with other window installers I contacted and I was invoiced only on completion of the work. I am pleased with the windows and based on my experience I would be happy to recommend the company.

This was the third piece of work carried out by MPB - all windows and a new composite front door already fitted. Throughout the process of agreeing the design through to installation Mike could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and his approach of ensuring the customer has what the customer wants was, as before, paramount. Chris installed the door as planned on the agreed date. The final outcome is excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending MpB windows.

Every time I get in touch with Mike for a piece of work to be done I don't need to even consider if it will get done, if the price will be reasonable or if the quality and workmanship will be good. Mike and Chris installed two French doors and a window in a flat (replacing old wooden ones) that I am currently letting to a young couple. The job lasted about 3 days to complete. From first chat to job completion, Mike's service was outstanding. Responsive, fast, considerate, highly professional and reasonably priced. The quality of the work was excellent and delivered on time. Mike managed to squeeze the job just a few days before Christmas to accommodate my tenants and to help give them a warmer place for the holidays. Mike also made good suggestions on how to improve on the existing design of the previous doors. I would very highly recommended MPB, and I would happily use their services again.

Had a new front and back door fitted, very professional job. The weather wasn't good but Mike and Adam worked solidly to get the new doors fitted within the day. The end result is excellent, really good attention to detail, they clearly pride themselves on doing a great job and care about what they do.

I had a living room window converted into a patio door and a second back door replacement window and panel fitted. The work carried out was excellent, very professional, and I am extremely happy with the finished result. The building offered a few installation hiccups along the way which needed to be worked around, but they were addressed skilfully and without drama. Mike and Chris we’re both professional, courteous and friendly at all times and more than happy to address any questions I had. They took obvious pride in their work and went above and beyond to ensure they did a great job. I will have no hesitation in asking them back to do more work and I intend to use their service again next year.

A small window repair job, quoted on basis of what I thought needed doing then on inspection instead of 2 replacement sets of hinges only one pair were required and the other fan window hinge was cleaned and lubricated so the final bill was less than quote. Very clean work, left no mess and wore indoor shoe covers, cheerful and informative, would definitely use again

We replaced our lounge window for one with two side openers and a fanlight. The work was carried out cleanly and with good humour. The fitter noticed a gouge on the fanlight and immediately called the office. A replacement was sourced and fitted quickly and with no problems. A good efficient service.

I have contacted MPB Windows and Doors Ltd for a quote to have wooden porch replaced with UPVC one and some sealed units replaced in my kitchen windows. Mike come and assessed the job I wanted to have done and few days later emailed me the quote for the job. He has made a very good impression on me by being very helpful and professional. From the four quotes I had, I decided to accept Michael's. I was not disappointed. Michael comeback with Chris few days later and introduced him to us telling us that Chris will carry out the work on our porch. The great experience with this company started from the go, with the first contact and polite and professional manner. Then arriving in excellent time and being able to immediately identify the issues with the French doors; getting about fixing these with expertise. Mike was very personable and demonstrated that he had a high ethical code, in other words he was concerned to deliver an excellent service at a reasonable price and was clearly not a trader that was there to rush a job and get as much from the customer as he could (has unfortunately been my experience on at least one occasion). He was a breath of fresh air! And because of this I am certainly going to be calling on him again, when I need, and have already told friends about him. Also, even though he is based in Swindon it was no bother for him to come across to Chippenham. He is gold dust!

Fitted a replacement double glazed window in my porch. Dealing with Mike at MPB has been a very easy pleasant experience. He gave me a quotation from the photos of the window that I provided. Measured the window without need for me to be present. Let me know the time it would take to order replacement glass and a choice of installation dates. On the installation date Mike was well presented, friendly and polite. The window was replaced and the area of work cleaned within an hour. The bill has come to exactly the amount that was originally quoted. Thoroughly recommended.

We had a double-glazing unit replaced in a French Door, for one with a vent-hole to fit a cat flap. Mike did an initial visit to measure (for free) and provided an estimate. Following this, we agreed the price and had the unit made. Chris then visited a couple of weeks later to fit the new unit, remove the old one, and fit the cat flap for us. All work done was at the utmost quality, with professionals who were happy to be providing a great service. Everyone was extremely pleasant, and kept us up-to-date along the way. I had 3 others quotes for this work, and 3 additional glaziers who were unable to do the work. MPB gave the best price, quick turnaround, and were a pleasure to deal with. I can't recommend them more.

Excellent service. My partner and I have bought a house together which needs complete renovation. We had a new garage door, french door to replace window and 4 new bay windows. Could not open back door as was locked solidly. Mike arrived promptly. Did a thorough job. Took lock off, cleaned it out and was able to get it working again. He even adjusted the door as it had dropped slightly which meant he had to re-adjust the lock. A very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.

Well where can I start Mike is true gentleman from start to finish. He works clean and does a thorough job. His communication attitude and attention to detail is impeccable with the ethos of if you as the customer aren't happy he isn’t happy. Following some issues beyond his control. he was very supportive swift and distraught and took responsibility and quickly found a resolution and solution to our problems and did an impeccable job. He was friendly and helpful even helping with some advice in regards to other things within my home and even assisted with another job I myself was working on. In a world of rouge traders and never really knowing who is going to do your job and if your vision and standards will be upheld it’s greatly reassuring to know that there are trustworthy tradesmen with old fashioned values in the world who understand your needs and issues. He was flexible around myself with appointments prompt and I would recommend him to anyone he charged as agreed before works began and I will definitely be using this company again.

MPB Windows and Doors have repaired a lock mechanism in an older door for me, realigned a front door (fitted many years earlier, not by them) and installed a new glass conservatory roof. All of the work and finish is of high quality and I experienced a friendly, professional service throughout. Extremely satisfied and so I have no doubts at all with recommending this company.

We needed a new back door which would let more light into the kitchen as the existing one only had two small quarter lights at the top and was rosewood finish inside as well as out. Our daughter and son in law recommended Mike as he had done some work for them in the past, mainly changing double glazing panels that had either misted up or shattered. So after looking at the brochure and deciding on the type and colour of door we liked we contacted Mike to request a quote. Mike turned up on time on the appointed day and we could tell that he could be trusted as the first thing he told us was that we could have a composite door cheaper than the pvcU one that we had chosen! Unfortunately the style that we wanted was not available as a composite door. Mike then went about measuring up for the new door and said that we would have the quote that evening. True to his word the quote arrived and we accepted by signing it and sending Mike a copy by email. By return we were informed that we had a 14 day cooling off period, but if we were sure and wanted to go ahead we could waive it and he would order the door straight away and it would be around four weeks to delivery. Sure enough, Mike contacted us to arrange delivery and fitting four weeks later! The door and fitter arrived on time and in no time at all we had our new door fitted with no problems whatsoever. The fitter was professional and very tidy, no mess, no fuss as the saying goes. Very happy with MPB Windows & Doors.
