MPF Landscape Design & Garden Build

Like many of us these days, I have had some unhappy experiences with unreliable and unprofessional trades people, so whilst I really needed the work done, I was a bit apprehensive going into this project. However, I can honestly say that this company has restored my faith! Scott and his team are extremely talented, very professional, reliable, hard working, trustworthy, polite and respectful when dealing with my neighbours. Nothing was too much trouble for them! The work involved totally demolishing existing large raised planters and removing old stone pavers, preparation of the site, building redesigned planters, retiling patio, planting trees and shrubs, reseeding part of lawn and fitting irrigation system. All the work was completed to the highest standard possible and I am thrilled with the end result. My walled patio garden has been transformed and is now a beautiful, usable, extra room. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

We wanted to improve the frontage to our Victorian semi and thereby enhance its 'kerb appeal'. We asked Scott of MPF Landscape Design & Garden Build for a quote because we had seen some of his work nearby and it looked good. Our own particular job involved refurbishing the driveway, making excavations for and installing a new soakaway, resurfacing the drive with gravel, laying a brick path, erecting a low brick wall, preparing soil beds for yew hedging and installing and painting five wooden posts and - after some delay (due solely to the manufacturer) - a front gate. We gave Scott a rough idea of what we wanted and he gave us a lot of thoughtful and constructive advice, making useful suggestions and provided us with a reasonable quote. With the help of his good-natured apprentice, he carried out the work without delay, tidily and efficiently. He has a friendly, patient and professional manner and we had no doubts whatsoever that he would do a good job. In fact, the finished result was far better than we dared hope. We would not hesitate to consult him for any further landscape work that we are now considering for our back garden. We only hope he will have time for us! A highly recommended trader.

Scott redid our driveway and patio, lowered the level of the patio and put in a soakaway as well as building a state-of-the-art shed. Scott did a brilliant job, he was meticulous and creative, giving us ideas of how it could be done. Scott worked incredibly hard including over weekends to get the work completed, nothing was too big or too small. He was respectful and cleaned up after himself. Could not fault the work Scott did and would recommend him in a heartbeat to others.
