Another plumber who doesn't respond to calls / emails
I phoned MR Plumbing & Heating on 19 March 2024 and spoke to Mauro regarding the installation of a shower pump. He asked me to send photos, which i did by email that day. I followed up on 16 April. No response to either emails.

Really happy with the work conducted, Mauro came to investigate a piping issue causing water to back up in our bath tub and cause a strong smell. This had been ongoing for a while and Mauro was excellent at investigating and offering various ways to solve the problem. The work he conducted meant the issue was resolved instantly and has not returned! Very efficient and explained fully what he was doing. He provided quick ongoing communication with any queries I had after. I would definitely recommend to others.

Mauro deserves 5 stars. He is a good honest man. I sent my boiler pictures via WhatsApp and mini video showing the leak we had. He gave a quote which was very reasonably priced. He brought all his tools and spare parts that he thought was needed. He was clear from the start what work needed doing and gave advice to start saving for a new boiler as it was getting old. Historically I had plumbers come into my home, they talked the talk but ended up making things worse, so for the trade to regain my trust was going to be hard. I was wary. But Mauro was great. I really trust him and will definitely be asking him to fit my new boiler.

I mistakenly switched off the power supply to my boiler . Mauro found the issue immediately and it there was in fact no issue with the boiler. He was very polite and understanding and most importantly honest .

For over 5 + years now Mauro has been looking after all our plumbing and heating requirements at both our house and rental property. He has proved himself to be very reliable and always happy to discuss options and come to sensible and cost efficient solutions. He's undertaken a number of jobs from a complete gas boiler re-fit (which had to be re-located due to building regs), boiler servicing, installing or moving rads, fitting showers (electric / combi-boiler), fitting taps and installing a new gas hob etc etc. All work completed to a high standard - I can confidently recommend his services.

We have been using MR Plumbing for all of our plumbing needs for several years. He regularly services our boiler and has fixed it on a few occasions. Recently he responded to a late night call for a suspected burst mains water pump which he diagnosed quickly. I can't recommend him highly enough.

The full instalation of the all house plumbing (bathrooms, kitchen, Central hitting) including the installation of a combi boiler. Mr Mauro has also provided many repairs throughout many years not only for my house but for my flat also and I cannot recommand his expertise and services enough.

I have known the trader for many years. He has done work for myself and my family, both in our homes and rented properties. Installing heating systems and various repair works. I had a toilet unit replaced and a tap changed. Both jobs were small but the toilet was leaking over the floor so was out of action. Mauro was brilliant, and it took him 1 hour to complete both jobs.
