I have used Michael Borrill and MRB Roofing before. Original roof had deteriorated over the 30+ years since house built and whilst there was no leakage it was a case of timely renewal. Quotation was subject to what might be found once asphalt was removed but luckily what could be seen was extent of damage. Quotation accepted for three days work, all completed on schedule and to quotation. Very happy to recommend MRB in a trade area that does suffer from a poor reputation, MRB being very much the exception.

Michael visited to identify problems left by an earlier contractor. Both rainwater downpipes were clogged up with moss and debris washed down from the earlier work. Michael quickly diagnosed the problems and later sent a comprehensive detailed reasonable estimate for the work needed which I gladly accepted. Michaels Team of three arrived at the prescribed time and were courteous, polite and efficient and executed the work replacing two downpipes and front Guttering as well as making sure all seals were properly watertight. A Great result well executed.

We used MRB Roofing to replace a large portion of our roof, including around a dormer window and an apex, that was old and starting to fail. They were recommended to us by a neighbour and from the moment I contacted Michael were a pleasure to deal with. From the first visit to inspect our roof and provide a quotation, Michael was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. He patiently talked us through our options (and my many questions) and provided various different quotations for how we could solve our problem. I was kept informed the whole time about timescales and the work was completed, on time, by a professional, skilled, friendly, contentious and reliable team who did a fantastic job. The team were a pleasure to have at our home, were always respectful and they explained the whole way along what they were doing and took pride in their work which is evident in the finished result. I have already recommended MRB Roofing to another neighbour and will happily recommend them to anyone who needs work doing.

Posting on behalf of my elderly Aunt. We found Michael and his team after searching Trust a Trader. They were extremely prompt in attending and assessing the problem. The work on the guttering and flashing and moss removal has been completed to a high standard and looks to have solved a problem that has existed for some time. My Aunt had been worrying about this for some time and is very pleased with the work. Highly recommended

We used the trusted traders website to find Michael and his team, and are very pleased we did. They replaced all the cement mortar on our lower extension and any damaged tiles. The lead flashing was also repointed. They have done a brilliant job. The roofers, Dan and Jay are highly skilled and took a pride in their work. They left the site spotless each day. They kept us well informed during the work. We highly recommend this company. Thank you for a job very well done.

I have used MRB roofing before. I came to them by chance after looking on a recommendation site. Michael came out and renewed my faith in roofers. I had had a sub standard job done previously for an exorbitant price and Michael and his team came and out and rectified my problem and charged me a fair price. Any other jobs that have needed doing they have been my first port of call since and I have been happy to refer them to others too, I have that much faith in them. My most recent call to them was for some storm damage and once which they responded to promptly and fixed what was needed. Felt a little guilty that they did the job whilst I was at work and tidied up so well I did not even noticed they had been until Michael called to check I was happy with the work. Always happy with this Company and cannot recommend them enough.

Replaced large barge boards and some battens and re mortared the edge tiles in. The roof edge was in a bad way. Whilst it took a long time between initial consultation and the eventual work, it was made very clear that this would be the case and the work was started on exactly the date that was originally stated. The work was done efficiently, the guys doing the work were very conscientious and friendly, explaining what they were doing, and left the site clean and tidy. Scaffolding went up and came down on the scheduled days. The roof looks good now, nice and even and the barge boards look very sound. Really impressed by the work.

I had various smallish problems with my roof and guttering, Mike and his team sorted all the problems out very quickly and explained all the work that they had carried out, they were very efficient and helpful and I would thoroughly recommend MRB Roofing for all repairs, I will certainly use them again if I encounter more roofing problems.

Came out quickly and fully accessed the work needing to be done, discussed budget and spent a lot of time discussing the best and most cost effective way to rectify the damage to the roof and gave lots of valuable advice. Work was completed well within the time frame indicated and we were extremely happy. The work even came in under the budget which was brilliant. Great company to deal with and have already recommended them to a friend plus they are coming back to provide us with a quote for some new fascia's. Would highly recommend them.

I contacted MRB Roofing as my porch was leaking after a recent heavy rainstorm . Micheal came out to do a quote but said they were really busy so I couldn’t get a start date until early 2022. The next rainstorm brought more leakage so contacted them and asked if they get any cancellations could I be considered for an earlier date. Received a call about 11.30am today asking if they can come and start today. They arrived promptly and finished about 4.30pm. I am amazed! They have done a great job and I am so relieved I didn’t have to wait any longer especially as winter weather is around the corner. Can’t thank and praise them enough absolutely brilliant.

MRB Roofing Ltd have done an excellent job on repairing our lead chimney gulley and went over and beyond what was asked by also repointing some brickwork that badly needed doing. Michael came first on a recce to see what was required, quoted and gave us a date for carrying out the work, which was done on time and as quoted. The team who came out, including Michael, were great: friendly, polite and hard-working. Michael took time to explain to us what needed to be done and why and when we asked him gave us advice more generally about how we should maintain our roof. I have no hesitation in recommending MRB Roofing - they were brilliant and we will certainly go back to Michael in future for all our roofing needs. MRB provided a first-rate service!

Mike responded straightaway to our "emergency call" concerning a leaking roof. It was not a straightforward repair as the roof was old (listed building) and scaffolding was required for access. Mike arranged everything and proved to be reliable and friendly, with a professional and thorough approach to the job based on years of experience in the industry.

We've used Mike and his team on three separate ocassions to work on our roof. They have fixed the roof valley, replaced soffits, facias and guttering and most recently re-roofed our house. Each time, the work has been done to an excellent standard, on schedule and for a good price. Mike kept us up-to-date with progress and let us know about and any issues as well as coming back after completion to deal with any snags. All of the team are professional, hard-working and respectful. We wouldn't hesitate to employ them again.

I arranged a survey after discovering an issue with a leak in the valley of my roof. Michael attended and gave a very honest assessment of the state of my roof and the likely issues. He provided a quote and managed to fit me in between jobs very quickly. He found three leaks in total which were repaired through replacing the lead in the valley of the roof and also attending to the lead flashing on the valley and the chimney. Delighted with the job so far!!

I decided to re roof my house after having problems with my old metal roof. I had 4 quotes for the job, i decded to go with Mike as he explained the type of roof best suited for my house and in line with other terrace houses on my road.. They also work with building regulation who check the progress of their work and issue a certificate after approving the work. Mike and his brother Alex, started work as per schedule and final cost was as quoted with a small additional which i was expecting as my roof was in a state.. Great work ethics, clean and tidy and Alex cleaned my gutter also .. I now have a fabulous new metal roof that look like tiles and so neatly done..

Michael and his brother have now done five jobs on our home or another property for which I have some responsibility. All have been done to a high standard. The first was renewing a flat roof some years ago - which was neatly finished and has stood the test of time. Other jobs have involved solving problems which we could not find any other roofer to tackle. In one case, on the other property, the solution that Michael came up with saved us a very large sum of money. On the last job, Michael's brother Alex took photos at every stage of the work and explained everything in advance and afterwards, which we greatly appreciated.

I asked Michael at MRB roofing to get our house roof and garage flat roof into serviceable condition for the winter in December 2017. We dealt with Michael himself, and his brother Alex who carried out the work. Both of them were highly competent and knowledgeable, very polite and friendly family guys, and did a great job. I couldn't have been happier, and they will be my first port of call if I need any future roofing work carried out.

Mike has been working on the rental properties I manage for the last 6 years. Had a small leak and Michael quickly identified and remedied damage to lead. At the same time he fixed a number of other small problems with the roof. He was efficient and reasonably-priced and I would recommend him to anyone experiencing roofing problems.
