Unreliable Waste of Time
Required installation for a ground source heat pump, began communicating Nov 2020. Martyn seemed confused at every engagement what are plan was, he had a continuous list of blockers of which each one I paid premium to expedite us through… all in all Martyn reset the install date twice and then finally cancelled the installation four weeks before his “guaranteed” date. It will be difficult/ all but impossible now to find another installer for green central heating before winter and if I’m really unlucky I may not find one before RHI grant changes Mar 2022. What I also have a big issue is with is my two children in our home who this situation is not going to be ideal for reaching the end of summer and no roadmap for central heating at all… … all in all no I would not recommend this company. I did get my £6k deposit back though!

We’ve had our new boiler installed recently by MSC Heating, they did a beautiful job & we are very pleased with the result. They are a very reliable team of professional ppl, very friendly, approachable, helpful, trustworthy, hard working & on time. They are extremely knowledgeable in what they do & reasonable price. They went through the details thoroughly with us, like how to operate the boiler, aftercare & yearly checkup; they made sure we understood the details & what the work they had done. A generally good experience, Martin came when he said and his price was exactly as quoted. There were a couple of minor communication issues, easily resolved and he seems to have done an excellent job. I am really pleased with the installation and the kit provided. He also helped in completing the RHI form and I was pleasantly surprised by the grant.

Martin at MSC Heating did a great job installing a new Samsung Air Source Heat Pump. Unlike other quotes (who used salesmen) Martin knows his stuff and arranged a proper heat loss calculation and acoustic survey. He was very patient answering all our questions and worries as this really was a leap in the dark for us, and arranged for us to visit a customer to see an ASHP in real life. He was polite, tidy and cheerful. I also loved the fact he didn’t just hire a skip but took the trouble to separate out and recycle as much as possible! Finally he helped us apply for the RHI (his estimate was spot on) and now the government will pay back the majority of the cost!! Our house is now consistently at a perfect background heat, and we have lots of hot water. We already have a few friends express interest and have wholeheartedly recommended him.

Loving my new heat pump , I was a bit worried at first , but I came across MSC heating at one of my neighbours having one installed. I thought the whole idea at first was a bit daft that you could get energy out of the air . I got chatting to one of the MSC engineers when they were actually installing a neighbours , so I went away and gained a few quotes. I didn’t find the other companies knowledgeable and seemed to be fresh to the air source heat pump industry, they did a great install and covered my house in dust sheets . Me and my neighbour are really happy with there service, and we got more guys in the close talking about heat pumps now . Good communication great service. Thanks MSC

Excellent Service from MSC. I had a new boiler and a replacement radiator fitted late November. As I changed to a combi boiler there was a lot of work taking out the old water tanks and boiler and redirecting pipe work. Martin and Phil did a fantastic job and left the house and garage tidy and took all the old stuff away with them. Would highly recommend.

Martin was very helpful from the first contact to completion of the installation. This was quite an intricate job, since I kept the exisiting gas boiler and hot water tank, but had the ASHP for heating the radiators. Fitting the additional pipes into the exiting airing cupboard took some skill by Phil. Martin took time to discuss the solution design, which necessitiated replacing 5 radiators. House is now very warm, but good efficiency from the ASHP. Martin was prompt with all the paperwork, liasing with the DNO and helpimng with the RHI application. Professional company, i reccommend them to anybody wanting an ASHP installed.

First, when choosing an air source system and getting initial advice, the service was excellent and included a weekend visit to look at the site. Unfortunately, thats where the excellence ended. Issues to deal with: *Failure to respond to annual service request - requiring me to find a new engineer * Not attending on dates agreed *Not replying to emails/messages *Poor advice with regards to the Renewable Heat Incentive, leading to a loss of £4k *Hidden costs not mentioned (floor coverings) *Some poor quality flooring not related to the age of the building (18 century house with some uneven wooden floors but also some flat concrete floors)

I contacted my friend James as my old boiler had failed its gas inspection and a new combi boiler was required to be installed. After having 3 different quotes Martin's was the most competitive and he was literally in the house installing the new combi boiler within a couple of days. I am a landlord with a rental property in Gloucester, I used MSC Heating to fit a new boiler for me. They gave me the best fitted price on a top spec boiler and were more than happy to arrange the fitting directly with the tenant - they could not have been more helpful, the price they originally quoted was the price paid and the job was done to a great standard with new filter, system flush and safety certificate included. I have just had my boiler fitted with MSC Heating. Very impressed with their professionalism. I asked for a quote on Friday after 5pm, accepted it later that evening.
