We needed a new boiler after the old one had done 20 years service, MTS came by to do a quote at the appointed time and I said I was looking for the most reliable boiler that was the easiest to service in future. I was happy with the advice, received the quote with no fuss, it appeared a very reasonable price and arranged a day to do the job. Jim’s quote for the installation of a Baxi Combi Boiler was extremely competitive, significantly cheaper than other quotes. Very clear date and time for installation, and importantly what was and wasn’t included in the in the quote. As my husband is now unable to deal with household problems I was very unsure about getting a new boiler and tank system as I didn't understand how it worked but knew it needed updating as service costs were becoming prohibitive. I chose Jim because he came to the house to look at my set-up. Most I spoke to wanted a photograph of the boiler which was under the house where I , being in my 70's , couldn't get to . He listened to what I thought I wanted and then explained why that was not possible but came up with a clear and sensible alternative. We agreed a price which was a fair amount less than I had worked out , and a start date. Jim arrived on the agreed day and time with a small team and they worked non stop for two days ! There was some extra work required due to the original not being installed correctly ( I was warned this was possible ) but they dealt with each problem as it occurred and costs were kept to a minimum. They worked late the second day but refused to leave 'till everything was perfect ( including doing the hoovering !) There were a couple of things I thought of the next day and an e-mail to Jim brought a quick and clear response. I also felt very safe and comfortable with them in the house - important at my age. I am now the happy owner of a new system which is located where I wanted it , it, will cost less to run and I have a 12 year guarantee - what's not to love !

Jim and his team were amazing replacing my old boiler and installing my new Combi boiler. They kept me informed of all they were doing at every stage and were very respectful of my property. In just one day Jim took out our broken Baxi system boiler, fitted a new Ideal Vogue 26 System boiler, which heats up the house quickly and efficiently, and balanced the radiators. In the same day he sorted out the warranty and the building regs certificate. I cannot praise him too highly for his work. We now have a warm house! I strongly recommend him to anyone in the Exeter area who needs a new boiler fitted.
