Hi, I'm Mark Young, Founder and Director of MY Locksmith Solutions Ltd.
MY Locksmith Solutions is Based in East Preston, West Sussex.
I served 23 years in HM Forces (Army), as an Electrical and Mechanical Engineer, having completed my NCFE L3 Locksmith and Upvc Specialist course. I then established MY Locksmith Solutions in 2012 with the aid of the Royal British Legions "Be The Boss Scheme".
I pride myself on reliability, honesty, integrity, professionalism and courtesy. I have 100% customer feedback on Google, Yell and Checkatrade. and strive for the highest standards.

Mark was very prompt in replying to my enquiry. He came out and assessed the problem and thoroughly went through the mechanics of the lock. He advised a very reasonable price and made an appointment for a further visit. Upon his return he cleaned up the mechanism and thoroughly greased it all and replaced the handle. A very pleasant person to deal with and would definitely use him for any other window/lock problems we have and would recommend him to other people.

I contacted Mark to enquire about having a cat flap fitted. Mark was very knowledgeable and professional and came round very quickly to offer advice and measure up and offer a quote. Mark's quote was very competitive and we agreed for the job to go ahead. Mark's quote included supplying all parts needed and as soon as the glass was delivered, Mark was prompt in his return to complete the job 5 stars for Mark would most definitely recommend him to any of my friends and even people that wanted a good locksmith or certain aspects of glazing work Thanks, Mark. During the hot weather my front door (west facing) was becoming harder to lock and unlock. Mark was selected from Trusted Traders to come to my house to resolve the issue, as he had several excellent recent reviews and was local. He arranged the visit (2 days later) after ensuring that my house was secure. The corrective actions were first class and the job finished promptly to my satisfaction and at a reasonable price. Overall a very good job and well recommended.

Excellent service from start to finish by Mark he repaired the locks on both our front and back doors and did a fantastic job. He was professional, knowledgeable and efficient, quickly identifying the problems and getting both doors working perfectly again. The whole service was friendly, reliable and carried out to a very high standard. It’s reassuring to find someone who takes real pride in their work and provides such a professional service. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and would definitely use him again.

I called Mark after reading the reviews of locksmiths on line. We had two locks to replace. Mark was quick to reply to our call and came to see the job almost immediately. He was very smart, personable and very professional about his work. He gave us a quote after viewing the task and set about replacing one lock straightaway as he had a suitable lock to hand. The second lock he had to order and called us as soon as it arrived and made an appointment suitable to both parties to install it. He did this the next working day. He was tidy methodical, friendly, cheerful at all times and extremely good doing a few odd little things that he identified around the locks which made the door look a lot better. I rate Mark most highly and highly recommend him. He was outstanding in every way.

Issue with Front Door Lock

I called Mark to investigate an issue with my front door, where the thumb turn kept spinning. Mark attended and gave a solution to replace the thumb turn to see if that solved the issue. He said he could do it there and then; if that didn't work he then gave the next step and associated costs. Mark replaced it and gave me the opportunity to test. The lock was slightly too big, so Mark ordered the correct size, and we arranged a date to fit. Mark was honest and transparent. I also asked him to realign the side door, which was also fixed. I now have a front door that actually works; I've only put up with it for 3 years!! Thank you, Mark. There are honest traders out there, and MY Locksmith Solutions is one of them!

I contacted Mark as the lock had broken on my bifold door. He visited the same day and advised that parts would need to be ordered; if they were in stock, they should be delivered the next day. He gave me the option of a temporary lock to be fitted so that we were able to use the door and the property was secure; this was a godsend as the part was not in stock, so I had to wait a little longer. Mark is very competent, tidy, extremely polite and helpful and I would certainly recommend him to anyone who is in need of his services.
