It’s very hard to find a well established experienced electrician with good communication and prompt response to quite requests. It is very difficult to find reliable tradesmen without a friend's recommendation. Yet that is what we did: we saw the advertisement in The Local Shopper for Neil's electrical business and gave them a call. Neil has a team of people who deal with communication: taking the calls; booking appointments and providing updates. This is invaluable when scheduling the work. I saw Neil’s advert in The Local Trader. It was easy to book an appointment. Communications were great and I knew within a two hour slot when he would arrive. He arrived as arranged. Neil installed a new fuse board, new double sockets, switched a few single sockets to doubles and upgraded the wiring on the ground floor. He arrived on time and his work was excellent. Because I had asked for a bit of extra work Neil was running late for his next job. He wasn't happy with the clean up and returned at 8.30 the following morning with vacuum cleaner and brush and pan and cleaned everywhere that he had been working on the previous day even though it wasn't that bad. All in all Neil is very professional and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone and use him again myself.

He completed his work when he said he would and I received his report the next day. The report was thorough and gave me an insight into the work needing done in my house. As a first time customer of Neil’s, I was impressed with the professional organization when booking, and also with the text messages prior to Neil’s arrival at my home. Neil arrived when promised (he actually was able to come out earlier than expected and checked this with me first) and quickly inspected and then fixed the two issues I needed his expertise with: checking power to an electrical fire and moving a light switch in my loft. I have used Neil for the last 5 years. He came highly recommended by a colleague and I too would would recommend him. The fault was the light and fitting. I have received excellent service - from communication beforehand to the job finish. I had quick responses when arranging the job and was glad to find reliable electricians servicing my area. Neil and Sam arrived on an agreed time. I was notified by a text of their arrival too. They quickly took care of the broken sockets, wired a chandelier, fixed the light fittings and replaced hard-wired alarm and even left some lighting spares. They were professional, nice and came across as trustworthy workers. I’m very happy and will be using their service again.

I contacted Neil regarding a fault causing the circuit breaker to trip hence no electric sockets working except in the kitchen. Sam in the office booked a date and time for Neil to carry out the work. He arrived exactly on time, diagnosed the problem, fixed it, explaining everything along the way and restoring power to all sockets involved.
