Not cheap, but certainly cheerful, NCC SE Ltd. carried out the above installation with commendable expertise and efficiency, causing minimal disruption to family life in the process. What is more, no detritus remained after their work was completed. We highly recommend NCC and would certainly engage them again.

He and his team were communicative, punctual extraordinarily hardworking and very skilled. We submitted an online query about a new boiler on Sunday afternoon. Neil called us within hours and visited on Monday. Neil explained how the boiler didn't need replacing but instead found a fault near our Gas meter that British Gas missed. Neil organised that repair and fixed our boiler too whilst showing us the build up on residue in the boiler that the annual British Gas service hadn't cleaned. Delighted to have found Neil and we will be using him to give our boiler an annual service - and replace it when the time is right.

Neil fitted a new boiler in my house about 12 years ago and has been coming to service it since then. He has also replaced and moved radiators over the years, come out for a leaking radiator and supervised the moving of the boiler when I had a loft extension built. He always charges a fair price, gets the work done quickly and leaves the place tidy afterwards. Highly recommended!

Our boiler broke on Christmas morning - Neil came out to give us a quote on Boxing Day and fitted the new boiler the next day! As we have a young baby, the speed with which he could fit the new boiler was really appreciated. The price for the boiler and work was fair, again especially for how fast he was able to do the job and the quality of the guarantee. Neil and his team were friendly throughout and did a great job! Just had our trusty 30 year old boiler replaced & relocated with a Worcester Greenstar by Neil’s company & work colleague Chris, who was a fantastic guy who overcome a few problems during the installation, we felt completely at ease in choosing NCC from the outset with Chris’s detailed quotation which stood out from two previous quotations from other national installers. I would highly recommend Chris & NCC as their professional experience & their can do approach stood out a mile from the other company’s, Thank you Chris for a job well done!

I had about 4/5 heating engineers come around to quote and I was surprised that there was such differing opinions. However what made Neil stand out was his excellent advice and explanations of options. I was very impressed as some of the other heating engineers were from respected sources however they really didn’t compare to Neil because he brought clarity, considered and insightful points that helped you make proper decisions. He is very personal, professional and straight forward which was also refreshing. If you are installing a boiler, certainly invite him to quote and have a chat before proceeding with anyone else. The annual service of my old boiler showed that the heat exchanger was failing. Neil explained the cost differential of a repair against a replacement boiler without any pressure to go with the more expensive option. He also explained the benefits of a new boiler and talked me through the changes that would be made to the valves and controllers in my house. The new boiler was fitted and commissioned in the same day and all of the rubbish was removed from site. Our house was left clean and tidy. There were no unexpected additional charges and the job was completed as quoted. The boiler that was fitted was a very new design and we did need a visit from the manufacturer’s service engineer to enable all of the remote control functions but Neil made sure that this was done the very next day and he was also in attendance to check that I was happy with the result. I would happily recommend NCC South East Ltd to my friends and family.

Following a leak on the ground floor of our kitchen and hallway, we appointed Neil to install underfloor heating once the old floor was lifted and before the new tiles went down. He explained everything in advance in terms we could understand and used first-rate, British products. He kept to his schedule although there was some delay because the tiler didn't stick to his own schedule; and the job was billed exactly as quoted. Neil is an honest, knowledgeable, plumber at the top of his game who has a wealth of expertise and is happy to impart his advice. After the job was complete I did call a couple of times for advice on related and unrelated issues and he responded quickly and informatively. Prior to commissioning the job, we were nervous about how to select the right person but from the outset we trusted him and felt assured in his capable hands. We have no reservations in recommending him.

I have known Neil Cornes and NCC South East for about 15 years. He has installed two boilers for me, the last in March 2018. The most recent installation was complicated by building works and the slipping timetables of other contractors. This was also a technically difficult job. The boiler and underfloor heating system were installed and completed accurately and in good time. And all new installations are working perfectly 16 months later. Post installation queries dealt with cheerfully and servicing carried out. NCC South East May not provide the cheapest quote, but estimates are adhered to and all admin is dealt with smoothly and professionally.

We required a full survey of the gas equipment and certification. Neil was easy to contact, knowledgeable and reliable. Always turned up as agreed and carried out all work as required. He is very professional and we would highly recommend him.

Neil came to our rescue, when our solar heating system packed up. It transpires that the system had been installed wrongly by the original heating engineer (apparently not uncommon unfortunately), so Neil sorted it out for us. It was by no means a straight forward job, with lots of unexpected problems uncovered along the way. But Neil persevered and got to the bottom of the problem, without any delays or complaints. We were very impressed by his attitude and professionalism. We would wholeheartedly recommend him and will be using him in the future to service our solar system.

NCC quoted speedily and efficiently, realising what was required and the best options available. We had Solar Water panels, a new cylinder and a new boiler fitted which involved upgrading the entire system. The work was carried out in practical stages to ensure the minimum of disruption and we were kept fully informed about what was happening, and why, throughout. Neil and his team did an excellent job of fitting a new boiler for me, moving an existing solar cylinder and pumping station, fitting a new solar iboost and correcting problems with my existing solar panels (both solar thermal and solar PV), checking that the solar thermal and solar PV systems were now working properly, including the Solar Edge monitoring. Due to complications with my system and the problems dealing with Solar Edge, the work took longer than expected but Neil was very good at keeping in touch and explaining problems as they occurred. They completed the work efficiently and were clean and tidy at all times. They were also extremely helpful in sorting out other unexpected problems with my systems as they arose and didn't complain when this delayed the work - I paid the original price they quoted for the job despite the fact it took longer than expected. When I had a leak a few weeks later with water pouring through a ceiling (which I thought may be connected to the new boiler installation) Neil was brilliant at responding extremely quickly at coming immediately to sort out the problem, even though it turned out to be nothing to do with the boiler installation and work he had done. He left me with all the completed paperwork and could not have been more helpful. I am delighted with my new boiler and now have a correctly functioning solar panel system which means that in the spring/summer months the gas boiler doesn't come on for very long at all.

Neil responded to a disaster speedily and efficiently. He and his team quickly established the full extent of the problem and proceeded to resolve all the issues. Hi, Niel and his colleague replaced my old leaking water tank , and installed a 210ltr indirect mega flow. Niel gave me some great advice, didn't push me in buying an expensive one, and was fast in giving me a date for the job. Everything went smoothly, they did a brilliant and very tidy job. Neil came at 6.30pm on the day I called to say my boiler was not working. Which was great as we were due snow in a couple of days. Unfortunately my boiler could not be fixed as the parts are obsolete so he quoted for a new boiler and came and fitted it 2 days later. All work was carried out efficiently and in a tidy manner. 10 days after installation the boiler displayed F83 error, Neil and Valiant have since visited my home and it is now fixed.

This was the first time I have employed Neil and I would rate him as an excellent choice. He attended very quickly to give me a quote on servicing my solar hot water system and also recommended a number of safety alterations following his examination of the system. When he carried out the work there was a problem with a defective blank on an unused port on the hot water tank which fractured on removal. This Neil was unable to rectify and I had to seek alternative help. However, on the work that Neil was able to proceed with and the main job of servicing the solar system I am very happy with. Neil is very knowledgeable, personable and efficient.

We moved house at the end of November & I noticed the pressures on our boiler were all over the place. I found Neil through Which Trusted Traders & he came out to advise on the day I phoned him. He took time to talk me through the system & why the boiler might’ve been behaving like it was. As he was leaving he saw we had gas fires & gave us advice on how to use them safely (which we weren’t doing!). Two days before Christmas our boiler died. Neil came over to make sure the gas & electrics to the boiler were safe and then said he would come over to install a new boiler as soon as the trade re-opened after Christmas. He gave us a couple of boiler options and explained the main differences. He was then at our house at 8am on 27th December. We’re very happy with our new boiler & the work Neil has done. On top of that he’s a lovely bloke & I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him to family & friends. We will definitely use Neil to do our annual boiler servicing and for any other plumbing jobs.

NCC did work for me a number of years ago (installed a boiler and central heating system). Although the work was good; they did it within the agreed time and for the price quoted, I have just found out they never sent Corgi, now Gas Safe, the building regulations completion certificate for the new boiler and I was never given a copy. I have now had to fork out over £100 for a lack of installation certificate insurance policy when remortgaging my property. When questioned about this they just ignored my emails. Please be warned, if you are using this company make sure they register the work or else like me, you may be in for a surprise further down the line.

Earlier in the year we were given the diagnosis that a water pipe had burst under our ground floor, necessitating the lifting of the entire ground floor area. It gave us the opportunity to get rid of the radiators and put in underfloor heating using a water pipe system. This choice was sensible because our house has very high ceilings on the ground floor and radiators never gave us effective heating. Because this was a large job, we checked out Which Trusted Traders and interviewed numerous firms before deciding on NCC South East Ltd, owned by Neil Cornes. His no-nonsense approach and clear explanations gave us confidence. Neil quoted a competitive price but also clearly explained the procedure, quality of materials used and why, how it would work & the time frame needed. He was always on time, kept us informed at every stage of the job Neil worked closely with our tiling contractor to ensure the existing floor was removed to the correct level for the water pipes removal of of the tiles and our kitchen, dug down to the level recommended and provided advice as required. The pipes and system went in, the tiles and wood flooring were laid and the system switched on.....bliss. Neil did his work on time and gave us great advice and service before, during and after the work was done; even helping us with plumbing matters unrelated to the underfloor heating. We would highly recommend him and his company.
