Necessity Services Ltd has grown to what it is today from an original television aerial & satellite dish installation company formed in 1990 by Mark Crowther.

Sky Television launched and began broadcasting four channels in February of 1989.

From installing satellite systems it was a natural progression to improve peoples' terrestrial TV reception from their aerials as until 2003 no terrestrial TV channels were on Sky.

After several years of building up a strong customer base with a lot of repeat custom for additional works it became clear that it gave customers great peace of mind to be able to call upon tradesmen that they trusted.

Simultaneously, technology was constantly changing and updating, leading to the world we live in today where so much in our lives is integrated. With these two factors in mind, customers trust and technology integration, we began to offer home security burglar alarms and CCTV, as well as data related services such as additional ethernet and wireless access points.

Such a wonderful and great company to deal with - we had an issue with our security entry system, Mark dealt with it straight away and sent out the delectable Andy who solved the problem instantly with no fuss or bother, very clean and tidy too. Great value for money for a great job done very well - what more do you need! Love these guys, you don't need to look elsewhere, use these boys!

My first time using this company. Found through Checkatrade. They made contact promptly and arrived as arranged. Very helpful, friendly and put me at ease straight away. I'd been experiencing a lot of interference from electrical items in my home causing pixelation on my TV. Resorted to streaming for 3 years but eventually decided to get it looked at. The home is old and had a lot of previous work done; lots of aerial cables everywhere. Eventually after a lot of detective work, and removal of defunct/unnecessary cables, I now have over 130 channels.

Telephoned because satellite tv pictures broke up during heavy rain. Andy arrived punctually. Always polite and considerate, he diagnosed the problem, rectified it and also altered angle of dish to improve picture. He explained everything clearly throughout and showed me a photo of the dish. Excellent service. I shall not hesitate to use the company again in the future.

Helpful and responsive to my initial enquiry. he was happy to make an appointment to suit my requirements. He turned up on time having confirmed the appointment the day before. on arrival he assessed the the issue i was having with my mast aerial. he had all the appropriate equipment fixed the aerial ,and did some additional work to the mast to ensure it was more secure during bad weather.

Necessity Services fit an alarm four years ago (along with other jobs) the battery had failed on the alarm so the most recent job was to replace the battery on the alarm box at the front of the house.

We had a new alarm fitted back in sep 2020. All good friendly service from Mark and Andy. Recently we had decorators in so we asked Mark to take our sensors off the wall so we could paint the walls. Andy came round last Friday 25/3/22 and reinstalled them. F.O.C, so we are well happy.
