Very pleased with the prompt response to our request for help and the quality of work in replacing an aerial amplifier, as well as a reasonable charge for the work done.

Having emailed details on a faulty aerial on Saturday, I was delighted if a little shocked to receive a reply at 10. 44pm the same evening. I accepted the offered slot for Monday afternoon and Mark & Andy arrived promptly. The issue was identified within half an hour and a new 21st century piece of kit was fitted. All TVs were tested and retuned in an efficient and cheerful manner...all in 1 1/2 hours! I would recommend them to anyone...and in fact already have! They put the 'great' in 'great British' company.

Our house is a long barn and outbuilding conversion with thick stone walls, which prevented a signal from reaching one third of the house, even with extenders. Mark and Andy solved the problem by hardwiring the property for Broadband and Wi-Fi, obtaining our neighbours' agreement to run cabling in a galvanised steel conduit in their land alongside our boundary wall. They concealed all the wiring both externally and internally, leaving a very neatly finished job. Mark and Andy pay great attention to detail, leave everything clean and tidy, and always have a Plan B if necessary. They explain everything very clearly, and it has been a pleasure to have them working in our home. We cannot recommend them highly enough, definitely a Five-star service.

Following the installation of Solar Panels by Octopus Energy we lost access to most of the TV channels, Mark (necessity services limited) responded very promptly to the issues caused by Octopus. Initially suggested a new outside aerial but then once on site Mark found a cheaper less intrusive solution ie relocating the existing loft aerial to another part of the loft, saving us money. Whilst Mark was hear we took the opportunity to ask him to install a new aerial outlet and adjacent power socket which will be hidden by a new TV once mounted on the wall. Once we have brought the TV will ask him to supply and fix the mount to the wall. I would very highly recommend necessity services limited.

Mark and Necessity Services Ltd recently completed the installation of a new internet link for an outbuilding we were building in some woodland. It was too far away from the main building for Wi-Fi, etc. to work properly, so Mark laid an armour-plated fibre optic cable between the buildings and scoped and installed new hardware in the outbuilding. We found Mark and his business on the Which Trusted Trader site initially and decided he was the person to use after a couple of conversations. Throughout our project, he and the team have been brilliant, visiting the site, talking through options in easy-to-understand terms, adding the cabling and hardware in line with the build timescales, and cost-effectively. We now have a rock solid 900Mb connection, the same as the main building, so no loss at all, some new Ethernet points and a new WiFi set up; so Sky Stream, Zoom, Teams, etc, all run seamlessly at the same time. We’re thinking about CCTV and some of Mark’s other services, so as well as us going back to use him again, I wanted to share my recommendation of Mark and Necessity Services Ltd with others.

Andy carried out a thorough service of my security alarm system. He did a first-class job and answered my questions in a friendly and reassuring manner. I have no hesitation in recommending Necessity Services Limited.

Recently bought a house where the previous owners had stripped the house of the aerial cables as they preferred to use cable TV. This meant that the poor wife was without Freeview. A quick google lead me to the CAI website which lead me to find Necessity Service Ltd. I left my information for a request for quote on the website and got a call later that day, speaking to Mark where a reasonable price was give and date booked in. All nice and easy and straightforward. On the day of installation, Andy turned up who was very friendly, approachable, honest, and professional. He kept me informed as to what his plans were for the install and what he’d do. After completing the job he got me to inspect the work and talked through what he’d done to make sure I was happy. He also setup our Freesat box for us, so that we could flick through straight away. All in all, very professional and would highly recommend Necessity Services Ltd, and would use them again in the future.

Mark attended our new build property to help install an Aerial, we live on an estate where we couldnt have an external aerial fitted and thanks to Mark and his excellent knowledge he was able to fit a aerial in the loft and ensure the signal was strong. The care for his work and the care for my property also was outstanding. Couldn't recommend enough!

Such a wonderful and great company to deal with - we had an issue with our security entry system, Mark dealt with it straight away and sent out the delectable Andy who solved the problem instantly with no fuss or bother, very clean and tidy too. Mark came to help me soon after my first contact with him, and I really can't praise him highly enough. My first time using this company. Found through Checkatrade. They made contact promptly and arrived as arranged. Very helpful, friendly and put me at ease straight away. I'd been experiencing a lot of interference from electrical items in my home causing pixelation on my TV. Resorted to streaming for 3 years but eventually decided to get it looked at. The home is old and had a lot of previous work done; lots of aerial cables everywhere. Eventually after a lot of detective work, and removal of defunct/unnecessary cables, I now have over 130 channels.

Telephoned because satellite tv pictures broke up during heavy rain. Andy arrived punctually. Always polite and considerate, he diagnosed the problem, rectified it and also altered angle of dish to improve picture. He explained everything clearly throughout and showed me a photo of the dish.
