On this ocasion we needed to install a main stop valve for the whole dwelling. It’s an old property and Plumbfaster worked out where all the pipes where and where best to install the stop valve The work was carried out quickly and efficiently as on previous ocassions.

Morgan attended promptly and listened to my problems. He found the leak in the ceiling and fixed it. He cleared up and left the place clean and tidy.

Neil of Plumbfaster responded on the same day that we contacted him about a failure of our central heating Viessmann boiler which he had installed four years ago. It was not straightforward but he found the cause and corrected it. We are very pleased with his prompt and efficient response.

Neil from 'Plumb faster' re sealed my shower cubicle. He kept me informed beforehand of the timing schedule for the work and attended promptly. He was meticulous and careful and completed the re sealing to a very high and pleasing standard and cleared everything away afterwards Payment was as agreed and expected. Plumbfaster has just completed renovation of my kitchen and bathroom, and I am absolutely delighted with the quality of the work carried out, and on schedule. The work involved installing a new bathroom to replace existing in a 2005 extension to a 19th century stone cottage. It was worth waiting for a slot in Neil’s busy schedule. He enjoys tricky challenges, such as positioning a bulkhead so that it accommodated difficult piping and extended a window sill in the shower recess. This was then extended to support a bespoke glass shower screen. Always clean and careful about the rest of house, particularly of a newly laid timber floor in adjoining rooms. Eager to consult with the owner throughout the project. Followed up after installation. Will recruit for a second job later in the year.

Neil works to a high standard, so I feel confident about his work. He explains everything in detail, without making me (a woman) feel stupid. Communication is excellent and he goes out of his way to be helpful.

Our bathroom rebuild was long overdue because of its complexity and anticipated cost. From their first job assessment visit, it was clear that we wanted Neil and PlumbFaster to run with our project. Their due diligence was more detailed than other tendering suppliers. They readily grasped the challenges ahead and suggested innovative solutions. They understood what we wanted. When the work started, we were immediately impressed by the care taken to minimise its impact to our home and neighbours. The management of both out-going waste and in-coming fittings or materials was exemplary. All hurdles were overcome with considerable technical skill and attention to detail. Any work required from additional trades, such as plastering and fine joinery, were seamlessly scheduled, involved great team-working, and were delivered to a very high standard. We were consulted throughout when design and cost changes had to be made. We would use PlumbFaster again, and without any hesitation recommend them to others. They did a fantastic job for us, and we now have a fabulous bathroom.

We had our small tenement flat bathroom redone by Neil and his team. Could not recommend them more! They took on an ambitious design (in terms of size) and did an brilliant job of it. Even when a nightmare of bad original plumbing and rotten joists was uncovered there was never any doubt that Neil was committed to seeing the job through. We're very happy with the outcome. They were an absolute pleasure to have around, nothing was too much trouble, they were super polite and made sure the disruption and mess a job like this can create were kept to a bare minimum. Plumbmaster provided a great service. We wanted a partial refit of a bathroom - move and fit bigger shower, move bath and replace all floor and wall tiles. Neil McKay, came promptly and gave us a quote. Throughout he has been friendly, helpful and efficient. He quickly answered calls, emails and texts and always turned up when he said he would. When things were removed, it became clear that the whole bathroom needed re-fitted ie sink, loo and units. There was also joiner work to do to square the walls. Neil gave a revised quote and then got all the work done. He used a sub contractor for tiling, who also came on time and did a good job. He also recommended and we used, a very helpful supplier The quality of the work was excellent - neat, carefully finished etc Highly recommended

We have used Neil for gas central heating installation and service plus other general plumbing works in central Edinburgh for some years. He arrives when he says he will, he knows exactly what he's doing and works quickly and tidily. He's also reasonably priced; never any nonsense. All in all, we are very happy to have found him and wouldn't consider using anyone else.

We had work done to the bathroom, new bathroom suite, tiling, and new doors made for cupboards. There was quite a lot to be sorted out in respect of choice of materials and liaison with suppliers and Neil was helpful and good at maintaining communication. Neil coped well with difficulties like the sudden unavailability of a tiler, and problems with tiles supplied by a showroom. The work is of a good standard, we are happy with it and would use them again.
