Dave has been solving the electrical problems that our Victorian semi has been throwing at us for the last 7 years when we had the good fortune to stumble across him... In that 7 years he's seen to the whole range of electrical work for us in our own home but also in rental properties. He is reliable, efficient, informative, entertaining, thoughtful, intuitive and knowledgeable and gets the job done! The work he does for the NHS means that he's on top of the most recent best practice - very reassuring. All round good bloke and we count ourselves very lucky to be able to call on his services. Highly recommended!

We found Dave on the Which? Trusted Trader website and he certainly lives up to all the excellent recommendations he has received. He came round to quote exactly when he said he would, gave us a prompt and fully inclusive written quote by email the following day and carried out all the work we required in a competent and timely manner. He also came up with useful suggestions for replacement electric heaters and extra heating in the bathroom and we were pleased to follow his advice. As we are not local to the property we entrusted the keys to him which he posted back to us when he had finished the work. We would definitely recommend Newmans and from this first experience we will certainly be using Dave again and will not even consider using any other electrician.

Fitted us in at short notice, spent a whole day doing various jobs, explained what he was doing and charged us exactly as originally quoted, although some of the work had unexpected complications which some tradesmen would have used as an excuse to ask for extra payment. Yes, I would certainly recommend him!

I contacted Dave in the afternoon last week, as we were experiencing lighting problems in our bathroom (via a pull cord). Basically we had no lighting, due to a shortened wire. Dave advised that he would come and 'have a look' that evening, although dependent on the potential size of the job, he might not be able to fit us in for a good few weeks. Thankfully Dave (assisted by his son) was able to complete the job there and then in around 20 mins, which was a real bonus for us. Dave was friendly and informative throughout and I'd not hesitate to use him again for any electrical work. The cost of the repair was minimal and his fully booked diary is clearly an indication of the quality of his workmanship. Thanks Dave!

Keith, the proprietor quoted for the job. Due to pressure of work it was a month before men started on site, but that was fine & the job was completed satisfactorily. The guys were polite, tidy, professional, clean & quick. Rain interrupted day 1, but they returned the following week to complete.

We phoned Dave after reading the fantastic reviews on which local. We were lucky he had a cancellation and was able to come within a couple of days. He moved some power points but was also able to put in a new power point and trunking for a wall mounted tv during the visit without any prior notice. He was really easy to deal with and very nice and straightforward in his approach. Costs were reasonable. Would definitely use him again and would wait for him to be available if he wasn't immediately free!
