After problems with my oven blew the house circuit, I called Newman Electricals yesterday lunchtime, leaving a message on voicemail. They not only called me back, but made an appointment for the same day and turned up on time! While fixing the oven, I was chatting to the engineer about other minor things, and he fixed those too (two broken or dangerous sockets, and a damaged light fitting). He stuck to the price he'd quoted for fixing the oven, too. Wonderful service from a friendly and efficient engineer, just what I wanted.

Dave Newman offered a fair price to install a power circuit in my garden. He arrived on time, and did an excellent tidy job at his estimated cost. He left the garden in a tidy state and without having damaged any plants. He even advised me to return some unneeded items to Wickes for a refund. Legal Certificate of Compliance for parts 4 & 7 of the building regulations also provided by Dave. I recommend him very highly, a thoroughly professional qualified installer.

Excellent service, polite and efficient. We required a full periodic test of the electric's on a house we were buying. The report was received within 2 days of the work taking place. Highly recommended.

Dave has done a fantastic job locating and fixing an intermittent fault which made the dishwasher stop working as well as the RCD keep blowing for no apparent reason. He was determined to find the cause and stuck at it until he did, then apologised for not being quicker! His fee was a less than I expected too. His approach was totally professional in dealing efficiently and tactfully with the errors of a previous electrician whose work caused the problem. I shall certainly be happy to use him again and recommend him to others.

I am glad to have found David Newman details via this website. He is registered with NAPIT. He recently installed several new power points in my house as well as an outside light complete with RCD socket. I found him knowledgeable, helpful and reliable. His work was of a very high standard and he left it clean and tidy. Reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend him and use him again.

David Newman has been an electrician for 22 years and has passed the latest qualifications for inspecting and testing. NAPIT registered Part P reg. He has over last 7 years replaced my lighting, fitted many new power points, 2 electric showers, cooker points, and garden lights. My daughter has had her home completely rewired. David works well with other tradesmen and we can recommend him highly.
