I’ve had Kris, Matthew, and John from Nigel Stoves looking after my heating and boiler system for almost ten years, and their service has been exceptional throughout. They’ve handled everything over the years — preventative maintenance, repairs, updates, and the occasional urgent issue — always with professionalism and real pride in their work. They are proud suppliers of the Viessmann range, and their knowledge of both residential and commercial-grade heating systems is second to none. Every job is completed cleanly, correctly, and with proper attention to detail. Their response times have always been excellent; the team works with real respect for the home, and pricing has consistently been fair and transparent. After a decade of relying on them, I can only applaud the quality of service they continue to deliver. Now they are also offering air conditioning systems from Bosch and other high-end suppliers.

Kris, Matt, and John delivered an excellent service from quote through to completion of our boiler replacement. The installation was carried out to a high standard, and the team showed genuine care in understanding our system—a complex UFH setup with multiple zones—and ensuring compatibility without unnecessary disruption to existing pipework. What impressed us most was the professionalism and communication throughout. The work was completed efficiently, and all pre-departure checks (Gas Safe commissioning, 12-year warranty registration, system testing) were thorough and properly documented. The team also went the extra mile, validating the suitable gas supply capacity for the boiler I wanted, helping choose the perfect Viessmann boiler, and implementing vibration isolation and acoustic measures, which were important to us. The guys turned a very tired and tatty bathroom into a wonderful new room. All the preparation was carried out with the minimum of fuss, mess and disruption. They turned up punctually every day and were friendly and courteous. Any minor problems and queries were discussed with us and they always gave excellent advice. The end product is amazing, all the fittings are perfect and the finish is superb, everything is exactly what we wished for. We couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend this company.

Supply and install of circulating pump which had stopped working. Repaired in just over 24hrs,couldn't ask for a more efficient friendly service and happily suprised at cost. They were recommended to me by a very good friend and I in turn will recommend them to anyone who needs their service as well as use them again in the future.

Kris arrived on time to service our boiler. First and lasting impressions were, He was friendly, got on with the job and explained everything as he was carrying out the service. He immediately found badly worn parts that should have been noticed and corrected by other previous services companies. Kris showed me the worn parts, Inspected the boiler, cleaned it thoroughly and then ordered the parts right then. Put the boiler back together, cleaned up and left it in working condition as it was a cold day and went to collect the new parts. Returned within two hours to fit the new gaskets and burner kit. Started up the boiler and carried out all checks and tests. Excellent service! We also had a new en suite toilet cistern and taps installed last year by Nigel Stoves Plumbing and Heating Ltd which was also an excellent job. Highly recommended.

We had a new gas boiler installed last year and from the quoting by Nigel to the fitting by Matthew and John they did a great job from start to finish. Everything went smoothly and nothing was too much trouble. They were neat and professional and made sure that the job was completed on time and was left neat and tidy. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and I highly recommend them.
