Carter and his team completed an extension, garage conversion and structural alterations to my 1930s home. From day one they were polite, considerate and punctual. Their work was to a really high standard and when there were unforeseen issues with the build, Carter was open and honest about the options and worked really hard to come up with a cost effective solution. Carter also brought in a plumber and electrician to work on various aspects of the project and they were both excellent too. I couldn't have asked for a better or more considerate team of builders to have taken on this project. If I have any other building needs in the future, they will be the first people I call.

Carter and his team have worked with us previously to complete significant renovations and restorations to our 1860's building. They returned to re-build an external wall and complete some internal works (installing locks, beading etc) Carter is very reliable, helpful with problem solving and finding the best solution to meet our needs. We are delighted with the standard of work completed, and will definitely continue to use Nightingale Builds.

Carter and his team recently completed a small eco-house, carrying out everything from building the main timber frame insulated with sheep's wool, through to the internal fittings and finishes. The quality of work was exceptional. Probably two of their stand-out attributes were their ability to problem solve and their politeness and professionalism - often rarely seen with tradespeople. We will certainly be calling upon their services again.

Carter was professional, helpful and honest. He turned up when he said he would, discussed availability at the time of visit promptly sent a quote, checking in again a couple of days before work began. Carter was honest about checking some factors with a damp specialist, Carter is very knowledgeable but this really built trust by being transparent about investigation the problem to ensure the approach would be the right fix, as we had a reoccurring problem that other trades had been unable to fix. His transparency was refreshing. On the job, Carter and his staff were polite and tidy, using dust sheets and switching to quieter tasks to keep things progressing but enable me to take a couple of conference calls without building noise, which was much appreciated, no fuss just switched tasks. I have already penciled in Nightingale Builds for another job next year. Highly recommend.

Over 2 years Nightingale Builds Limited work with us on a complex refurbishment of a large (800 sqm) 1860's building. This consisted of fitting windows, plaster boarding, skimming, floor boarding the loft + ladder, decorating, fitting ceilings, installing insulation, bricklaying, damp proofing, plumbing sinks, toilets and radiators plus many other tasks.

Nightingale Builds completed a full loft conversion (including a hip to gable conversion and a dormer), a ground floor reconfiguration and a number of other smaller jobs. They were great to work with and considerate of us living in the house at the same time, even our neighbours liked them. The works were completed on schedule and we were very happy with the standard of their work. We have already recommended them to friends.
