Prompt response to a weekend boiler failure. 2 hours later there was a guy on site who was professional and friendly and was happy to explain what he was doing, and what problems he was finding as he inspected/dismantled the boiler. Simple problem in the end, and a fairly hefty bill for a weekend call-out, but when your hot water and heating is gone you want it done now and I am sure they had the knowledge/experience to have solved almost any problem.

A year ago Michael installed my new Combi boiler, did great job and a year on I had him do a service on said boiler, He found a value leaking and arranged it to be replaced under the Guarantee so no cost. He always cleans up and takes any rubbish away, as in the the review title any plumbing he is my first port of call.

A faulty valve in the immersion heater water tank was causing the overflow pipe to leak. Michael replaced the valve, so no more leaking overflow. The bill was less than the quote. Michael has a very pleasant manner. Would use his company again.

I called them on Sunday as the sink was leaking. I have zero DIY skills. I asked about what to do... They could have given some long drawn-out explanation and said they needed to come out and fix it. They just said, "get some silicon". I found a place that was open and did just that. Easy fix and they saved me a fortune. There are some genuinely honest folks out there. When something serious happens you can guess who I will contact.

Quick, efficient and friendly
We had a faulty tap and after switching the water off it caused a leak through our ceiling. Michael visited within the hour (as he was in the area) and replaced the tap and valves quickly and efficiently and it works great now. He also noticed that the boiler pressure was too high so sorted this as well. Very friendly and professional, great service, would definitely recommend

There was water gushing on the drive so called this company and explained the situation. Josh came within the hour and got to work on tracing and sorting out the problem, as this was a 2 man job because rods were needed Michael came to help get the job completed very successfully. Left the site clean and tidy and the manhole was put back as it was, also they cleared the leaves from the drains. I have no hesitation in recommending these 2 very professional, friendly, helpful, informative and efficient young men. I would use them again.

No Nonsense Plumbing completed a small job of replacing the sides of our bath, which were in a sorry state due to poor handiwork/material used by the company who had refurbished our bathroom. No Nonsense were very efficient and reliable, used solid material, unlike previous person. Estimate, which was the final cost, no extras, was a little more than I had maybe anticipated but as it was good job with good, solid material (unlike the previous) it will actually save me money in the long run as I won't need it re-done.

Michael has completed two jobs for us in the last three weeks. First, diagnostics on an old combi boiler and fitting of new taps, and second, installation of a new gas combi boiler. On both instances Michael was helpful and open to giving advice that best suited us as customers. Rather than having expensive short term repairs we were advised that replacing the boiler was a better long term decision. Additionally, Michael went to some effort to provide us with all the details we needed to self-source materials, allowing us to structure costs to suit our finances. All work has been completed to a high standard with work sites left clean afterwards. I wouldn't hesitate to use No Nonsense Plumbing again in the future.

Michael came to replace the valves of our leaking Franke filter tap. He was punctual and a very efficient, helpful person. He did an excellent job for which we were very grateful and was able to advise on a couple of other plumbing problems we had. He had been very helpful when I first contacted him by e mail with questions about our tap and was quick to respond. He gave me a quote and when I finally phoned and asked him if he was able to come and do the job he was able to give me an appointment within a couple of days. We've had a dripping Franke hot tap for a while, perhaps due to the hard water. I ordered spare valves but failed to fix things as I didn't have the right tools. I am very happy to have found NoNonsense Plumbing via Which Trusted Traders. Michael, the company owner and main plumber/engineer, recently supplied and installed my shower pump. His work was of a very high standard. He was punctual, wasted no time, fitted the new pump, also investigated some watermarks (which turned out due to old leaks), and on my request also improved the sealant in my bath. He was very professional, respectful and honest in answering my questions. He worked with an equally nice assistant who also cleaned up perfectly after the work was done! Cost was reasonable. Michael is also Gas Safe registered. I intend to use his services again as and when needed and can definitely recommend him!

My combi boiler needed a thorough service and some further attention due to very noisy vibrations. Michael came, cleaned the boiler, and patiently diagnosed the remaining problem. I don't often write reviews, good or bad, but I felt I had to in this case. Michael turned up early, looked at the problem knew what he had to do and got to work without any messing around. He even refused a cup of tea despite my best efforts :-) His worked quickly but carefully, left everything clean and tidy after making the repairs and just got on with what he needed to do. He was polite and courteous and I would wholeheartedly recommend his services to anyone looking for a plumber. I will definitely use him for my plumbing needs in the future.

No Nonsense Plumbing is reliable, skilled, efficient and tidy! Plumbing can be messy but Michael has excellent equipment that sucks away water so the home remains safe and tidy. I contacted them in the eve when I noticed one of my radiators was stone cold, and he managed to squeeze me in the following day! Morning actually which meant the work was completed and the stress was gone and my home was snug again. Micheal is very intelligent he is an excellent problem solver and offers out information in a kind and genuine way.
