Michael done an excellent job of replacing my gas hob. There was an issue with the gas pressure which was quickly located and fixed. Punctual, polite and tidy. A great job was done. Completely recommend.

No Nonsense Plumbing is reliable, skilled, efficient and tidy! Plumbing can be messy but Michael has excellent equipment that sucks away water so the home remains safe and tidy. I contacted them in the eve when I noticed one of my radiators was stone cold, and he managed to squeeze me in the following day! Morning actually which meant the work was completed and the stress was gone and my home was snug again. Micheal is very intelligent he is an excellent problem solver and offers out information in a kind and genuine way. Nothing leaks anymore, Michael replaced my sink and tap - the tap looks much better and works well, sink drains correctly now. It was less than three-day turnaround between my first email and the job being complete. Very fast, high-quality work, friendly plumber!

We had a faulty tap and after switching the water off it caused a leak through our ceiling. Michael visited within the hour (as he was in the area) and replaced the tap and valves quickly and efficiently and it works great now. Michael was responsive, communicative, and helpful ahead of his first visit to fit a carbon monoxide detector and perform a boiler service. I called No Nonsense Plumbers at lunchtime on a Friday as we had a leak in our bathroom which was going into our neighbours so needed sorting quickly. Michael answered and said he would be over in around 2 hours, which he was - and he kept me updated on what time he thought he would arrive. Once here, Michael quickly identified the source of the leak and knew what was required to fix it. He carried out the work quickly and efficiently and tidied up after himself thoroughly too. He checked the work to ensure the leak was now fixed and also checked other areas to ensure there wasn't a secondary leak - incredibly thorough! Michael was a very likeable chap and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber. Brilliant!

I had an issue with my water flow rate. Michael quickly determined the issue was due to the pressure-reducing valve having debris and residue and needed replacing. He added a temporary fix by removing this pressure-reducing valve, communicated clearly about what parts were required and then came back and replaced this. The water pressure is now back to normal. Overall, it’s thoroughly professional and excellent work. I would highly recommend him to anyone and use his services again if needed.

Michael replaced our shower enclosure and serviced our boiler. He was super professional, straightforward, reliable and the work was done to a really high standard.

My combi boiler needed a thorough service and some further attention due to very noisy vibrations. Michael came, cleaned the boiler, and patiently diagnosed the remaining problem. He then fixed it on the same day. He left everything clean and tidy and charged very reasonably. I will definitely ask Michael to come back for future services and repairs if and when the need arises.

Michael has completed two jobs for us in the last three weeks. First, diagnostics on an old combi boiler and fitting of new taps, and second, installation of a new gas combi boiler. On both instances Michael was helpful and open to giving advice that best suited us as customers. Rather than having expensive short term repairs we were advised that replacing the boiler was a better long term decision. Additionally, Michael went to some effort to provide us with all the details we needed to self-source materials, allowing us to structure costs to suit our finances. A faulty valve in the immersion heater water tank was causing the overflow pipe to leak. Michael replaced the valve, so no more leaking overflow. The bill was less than the quote. Michael has a very pleasant manner. Would use his company again.

We contacted Michael to trace and locate water leaking from our bathroom into the kitchen below. It was a bank holiday callout so we were very pleased when he attended promptly at the agreed time. He was polite and respectful of our home throughout, employing a methodical approach to try to ascertain the source of the leak. The overflow pipe at my property was dripping. Michael from No Nonsense Plumbing attended promptly and was very pleasant. He quickly detected the cause of the drip and sent me a quote next day for the repair. I shall be arranging a date for Michael to attend and undertake the work.

Michael resolved a couple of plumbing problems for me two years ago. But, this year, he fixed dripping taps and replaced the innards of a loo cistern for me. He identified the causes of the problems quickly and took appropriate remedial action, including buying parts, without any fuss or complaint. He just got on with the job and chatted a little with me as he did so. He also threw in a new shower hose for free. Michael works to a high standard and cleans up properly after he's finished a job.
