We love our new heating & water system installed by North East Heating Solutions. We had a problem with our gas heating as despite numerous power flushes the micro bore pipes the builder installed 20+ years ago were blocked & useless. We researched many options & Howards Elkatherm radiators became our preferred option. They’re not cheap (anything that’s good tends not to be) but weighing up disruption, re-plastering,/re-decorating and the big bonus of future proofing our home away from fossil fuels, this system came out favourite. Although it’s summer & we’ve not used them to full advantage yet, we have lots of hot water, the radiators look great & are easy to use with the smart app. Howard’s team are super professional and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending them to anyone.

Found North East Heating Solutions online after deciding to go all electric with the view of going solar eventually.I am a believer in first impressions ! They answered straight away and not long after leaving my details Howard the owner contacted me and arranged an appointment which was impressive and reassuring as we had no hot water or heating . After the consultation they very kindly fitted me into their tight schedule to fit the sunamp so we at least had hot water which was fitted within a couple weeks and we are so impressed with the Sunamp heater it does everything Howard said it would do instant heat at pressure no noise WOW ! The team came a few weeks later to fit the radiators they were efficient worked well together polite tidy and did a very very good job despite me asking for where I wanted it fitting which was a nightmare for them. Big thanks to Phil,Kev who went out of the way to lift my floor boards to hide cables and thanks to Luke for explaining how the system works and In general Huge thanks to North East Heating Solutions overall They lived up to first impressions quick at answering phone and giving a excellent prompt professional service

Phil the plumber removed the old gas boiler and radiators and installed the Sunamp. Luke and Krev installed Elkatherm radiators. They turned up as scheduled and completed the work to an exceptionally high standard. This alone would have given them a 5 star review. But in addition to this, they worked in a very neat way, moving furniture and household items back and forth in order to do it, and cleaned and tidied after themselves. They were careful to make sure everything was installed exactly as I wanted it and were generous when installing new electric sockets. I was provided with instruction of how to work the new equipment and was given a very clear demonstration. They were polite and fun to be around. I can't recall having such a good service in recent times. I am one very happy customer

My old storage heaters & complicated meter system were removed & new clay core radiators installed. They accommodated my request to remove old heaters allowing me to re-decorate prior to installation. I also had to change dates twice. The work was done on time, quickly, cleanly without any inconvenience to me, even though it was not straightforward. I was patiently given operating instructions- reassured they would come back if I had any future problems which couldn’t be solved by phone. The service I received from first contact has been excellent. Very happy with this company.

Three good workers from north east heating solutions, Phil the plumber,Kev and Jamie the electrician's, work was completed in one day, to remove old gas radiators and replace with electric radiators, job was done neat and tidy, instructions on how to use the system was giving first class, I was very impressed with completed work.

I decided to go electric heating after my old gas boiler needed replacing,I read all the reviews of northeast heating solutions & contacted for an appointment.Howard came & measured up & costed the job.From start to finish I am very happy with heating & team(Jamie,Phil & Kev)who did an excellent job!very neat & tidy work!The app is so easy to use,I can control each room temperature!!would highly recommend!!!

I highly recommend NorthEast Heating Solutions. From first contact to completion, they have been both friendly and professional. I decided to update my old wet heating system to the RadTherm Electric radiators and am now looking forward to a cosy winter with state-of-the-art radiators I can control individually via my phone. I also had a Sunamp Heat battery installed for my hot water. Even though I have the smallest-sized battery it meets all my needs. All the staff I had dealings with were spot on in terms of communication, knowledge and skill. The installation was stress and mess-free. I have no regrets. Thanks for the great work.

North East Heating Solutions were initially contacted to advise and quote for the installation of Elkatherm heaters for our village hall. The old gas-fired heater and overhead electric heaters were inefficient and did not provide even room heating and so it was decided to have them replaced with a more modern alternative. North East Heating Solutions visited the hall and quickly scoped out the locations for 5 new programmable Elkatherm heaters after a survey of the electricity supply for connections. The old gas-fired unit and overhead electric heaters were removed and disposed of and the room was left in a clean and tidy condition. The work was completed within 1 day and care was taken to ensure that the end result was to our satisfaction. A full explanation of the operation of the new heaters was given and a user guide was provided. The cost wasn't cheap but previous testimonies indicate that the Elkatherm heaters are good value for money. Although there has not been the opportunity to experience the efficiency of the new heaters yet (summertime) the appearance and testing of the settings make us optimistic.

I know the radiators are expensive but I can confirm they are very good and dealing with North East Heating Solutions has been excellent from start to finish. The lads installing were really good and tidy and took time to explain it all. Even when we had a problem two weeks in, it was sorted without any issues. I have already recommended them to friends if they want to change.

Replaced back boiler-driven, water-based central heating with four new radiators on ground floor. All old radiators throughout the house removed, header tank supply capped off, and new internal gubbins fitted to electric immersion heater. Fitted in summer, so haven't used new radiators at all yet, but they do look good. The fitters - two electricians and a plumber - are a dream team, courteous, thoughtful, non-invasive, quick and very tidy - if only all tradespeople were like this.

We have found North East Heating solutions to be an excellent company to deal with from start to finish. We initially had 2 heaters installed earlier in the year but decided to add another to our main lounge in December as we had been so pleased with the earlier two. All staff from Office to Sales to the fitting have all been brilliant to deal with. The product is excellent and the service is excellent as well. We are still not sure if the running costs are more than our previous system but it appears to be at this early stage slightly more expensive, although we have had quite a lot of cold weather to contend with! One radiator fitted upstairs was in fact struggling to get to the required temperature. We flagged this up to Howard who immediately replaced it, free of charge, with a larger radiator that now heats the room very well. Great service indeed. All in all I could not fault North East Heating Solutions and would recommend them to anyone.

I realized soon after I bought my apartment in the Grade 2 listed building that I live in that the existing heaters were inadequate. I checked reviews online and chose North East Heating Solutions to install five Elkatherm space heaters. It has turned out to be a really good decision in terms of the quality and performance of the heaters themselves but also the personal and patient after sales service. They are ready and willing to assist with any queries. The installation was timely and smooth and the old units were taken away. These heaters really are a sound investment that improve the comfort of your living.

Installation carried out quickly & efficiently by a friendly & approachable team. The results give me individual control of both temperature & timings independently for all rooms with radiators installed.

I am very pleased with the installation and performance of my Sunamp water heater. It is economical. Obviously the upfront cost is high but overall I am pleased I had the unit installed. North East Heating Solutions are good to deal with and provide good customer service.

Sales visit was informative but not pushy . We were advised about size of radiator to suit size of large and small room. Workmen arrived on agreed date completed work efficiently and with little disruption. Workmen we’re polite and efficient throughout .We were given programming demonstration and left with simple instruction sheet as well as YouTube tutorial info . Both radiators working efficiently and 25 year guarantee gives peace of mind . Not a cheap option but will whole heatedly recommend this firm .

Partial replacement to a 35 year old heating system. Work carried out over approx. 4 hours, in a friendly and efficient manner. Fully intend to have the rest of the system done at a later date. Whole process was excellent from North East Heating - shame about Bulb with the tariff...

Everyone from North East Heating Solutions was friendly and helpful and seemed efficient. I am very pleased with my Sunamp 6 (for hot water) and Elkatherm radiators (installed in June and August 2021), but a number of mistakes were made over contract details. Problems included some paperwork being sent twice in mistake for other paperwork and some paperwork containing errors; there was confusion over some radiator sizes and one installation date and - in the absence of an initial written quotation - even the total number of radiators and total cost. These and other issues were all resolved satisfactorily, but should not have arisen in the first place. Nevertheless, I would recommend North East Heating Solutions, their staff and their products.

We had new electric radiators fitted throughout the house. The disruption was kept to a minimum and everything was left clean and tidy. The two guys doing the fitting were professional and friendly. My only observation would be that a pre installation visit by the electrician may be a good idea just to check requirements. We were very pleased with the fitting and with the operation of the radiators, would recommend. They aren’t cheap to buy but they are very effective and easy to use via the app.

John and Steve fitted four radiators and were a pleasure to have in my home. They were really respectful, quick and clean and with little or no disruption at all.
