From the first initial contact with the salesman Gavin to the very last workman, the electrician. It has been a first class job. I had a full warm roof on my conservatory and I am delighted with it. I do not normally leave reviews but I have been so impressed with this company that I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I recommend Nu-Look Conservatory Roof without hesitation. Nu-Look replaced our roof in the space of a few days, wired up new light fittings and then it was plastered and ready to paint very shortly after. The new roof has made such a difference already as we approach winter, to a room that was previously unusable. All of Nu-Look’s tradespeople had good attention to detail, were clean and tidy and organised. Very glad we decided to go with Nu-Look. If you are sitting right now in your cold conservatory and not sure what to do to improve it, this is the answer.

The caliber of the work, both inside and out, is first class. I am extremely pleased with the end result. All of the workmen were quick, efficient and very pleasant. I would recommend Nu-look if you want to turn a barely used room into part of the home.

A great Installation job. The team of all trades were so professional in manor and execution of the work done. Small issues that did crop up were quickly dealt with cannot fault Jeremy my Installations manager who was always on hand to answer questions and came back to me swiftly. All the workforce were so polite .worked hard and left site free of any rubbish. Office staff were always there when I phoned and so friendly/helpfull. A great job ..pleased to now have a all year round room ,which has withstood a real downpour of recent rain. I waited to put this review only to ensure it was tested fully by UK weather,! The difference this roof has made to the temperature control is unbelievable, it actually becomes an extra room as opposed to just a conservatory on the side. Highly recommend!

Was recommended by friends of ours and we were not disappointed. The lads that came to fit the roof worked as a proper team. Strategically worked so well together. Very Happy with the work done across the board. Very efficient and time managed professionally. The whole team from office through to site were very, very good. Thoroughly pleased. It eliminates rain and noise, it's turned the conservatory into a warm room.

better than expected outcome, The roofers were really friendly, tidy and did a really good job. the plasterers were also really good. it has made a huge difference. what was the conservatory is now a part of the house. very usable.

This was a recommendation from two neighbours that had also had this same work done and spoke wonders of the workmanship and company as a whole. This has changed our conservatory into a liveable used spaced and would highly recommend. Very happy with the work completed and was done in a super quick time.

I would not recommend Nu-Look because of the appalling service after deposit paid and poor communication. The only good service was the sales; after that, everything was downhill. Based on a quick survey eight weeks after the deposit was paid, Nu-Look decided the wall was not strong enough and would not fix the roof. They gave the option of the refund of the deposit paid We got three other quotes and two surveys, all quotes significantly cheaper, and both surveys found no issue with the wall. We did not receive our deposit back and decided they now have to keep it. My main grievance is the poor communication, different information depending on who you speak to. Nu-Look confirmed the refund in an email, and weeks on deciding the option of a refund was an error, and we are not due one.

The initial Sales contact was excellent. The construction of the new roof was done with great care and consideration of our concerns. The transformation of our conservatory into a habitable room is amazing. Nu-Look liaise with their tradesmen regularly on progress but not with 'us the customer'; this leaves one feeling exposed and ignored. As the customer therefore one is left with talking to a succession of contractors who, whilst working mainly, but not exclusively for Nu-Look, are motivated mainly by the job in hand; one does not experience 'Nu-Look' through them. Anyone who has tried to engage tradespeople will know how difficult it is to find good, reliable people; so the fact that Nu-Look provided a succession of good tradespeople is a great benefit. We are very happy with the work completed; we hope that the short term benefits last.

Our conservatory roof, which had been up 15 or 16 years, had started to leak and was looking tired. Even though the conservatory is north facing we still suffered the usual polycarbonate roof problems ie very hot in the summer and unusably cold (even with a radiator) in the winter. We considered various options, such as glass, aluminium covered insulated panels etc but finally settled on a traditionally constructed timber framed insulated roof with synthetic tiles from Nu-Look. We agreed the price and start date in late February and work began in May (the earliest they could fit us in!). Everything went exactly according to plan, from the removal of the old roof and construction, insulating, tiling & plastering of the new one to the re-installation of a large ceiling fan. Part of the garden became a building site/workshop whilst the job was going on, but once it was done it was impossible to tell that anyone or anything had been there. Now that the decoration is complete our old conservatory truly does just look like another room in the house. We've already noticed how much cooler the conservatory is during these recent very warm days. We cannot speak highly enough of everyone from Nu-Look who we came into contact with. This was a 1st Class Job, professionally done on time & on budget. We'd have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Nu-Look to friends & family. What more is there to say?

We were looking for a replacement conservatory roof as the original glass one was leaking. We had several quotes from various companies, but Nu-Look were by far the cheapest for a solid tiled roof. All members of the team which we had contact with were friendly and professional. Gavyn Lugsden was particularly good. The work was carried out to a very high standard and within the agreed timescale. It was completed to the agreed budget. I would definitely recommend Nu-Look to family and friends.

I have no hesitation in recommending Nu-look conservatory roof solutions, we were extremely happy with their standard of work from start to finish. The tradesmen involved were first class, roofers, plasterers, and electricians and all very polite the finished job left us with no mess to clear up. Well done Nu-look.

Very impressed with Eddie's sales pitch. Agreed to go ahead, builders were 5 hours late on the first day. Phoning Nu-Look they weren't sure where the builders were. When they arrived the builders worked constantly and very hard. Issues came when my wife and I noticed the timber structure wasn't flush to each beam, the angle was cut incorrectly. This continued on all 20 beams. Talking to the builders the next day - we were greeted with attitude and explanations that 'it wouldn't make the roof stronger and this is how they do all roofs!' They didn't like our critiscism and work wasn't allowed to continue until the building inspector had assessed the structure. 20 beams had gaps some so large a finger could fit in between / excessive numbers of screws were visible to try and hold the beam to the wood structure. The building inspectors report confirmed our suspicions that our roof wasn't structurally sound and all 20 beams would need to be doubled up therefore our roof is 20 beams of wood heavier with less insulation as a result. The company didn't deal with our complaint in a professional manner. We weren't asking for money off just an apology. Instead we got hassled to sign the satisfaction note. The director of Nu-look emailed various reasons why we should sign as he had more pressing family issues to deal with. Because of these reasons we would not use or recommend Nu -look due to the building quality and how they dealt with the mistake. I can provide photos.

We were really impressed with the fitters who did the roof, they worked really hard and a good job. They were tidy throughout and covered up whilst working. They kept any disruption to a minimum which was helpful.

I know there are some dodgy firms doing this work so I did some research. I'm pleased I selected Nu-Look. They did a good job. The work was completed in a timely manner and to a high standard. The workmen seemed professional and competent. I have been late in posting this review because I have been waiting for the Building Control Certificate and Guarantee which I have only just received.

Nu look replaced the polycarbonate roof on our conservatory. A tiled roof was fitted. The work was done very efficiently with the different trades working one after the other in a very timely fashion. All was left very tidy after the work was completed. Would recommend this company.

Following the shattering of a glass panel in my conservatory roof I contacted several companies with a view to replacing the glass with a 'proper' roof. Nu-Look were recommended to me by a friend and someone came out to measure up and give me a quote quite quickly. I was happy with the quote and the construction detail. After confirming my order, a surveyor came out and measured more precisely and I was given a date for starting the work. I was contacted again shortly before the start of work to confirm who would be coming and at what time. The two men arrived on schedule and went through the procedure. They worked quickly and efficiently and I was impressed with the level of workmanship. They took everything away at the end of each day so I did not have to have a skip sitting around. The work was completed in 2 days and everything left tidy. Then the electrician was scheduled to do a first fit for the LED lights before the plasterer came in the following week. He too arrived on schedule and worked hard to ensure a superb finish. This was followed by the electrician in a couple of days to fit the LED lights. The work has transformed my conservatory into what is more a 'proper room' now. The temperature is more constant without the highs and lows I was used to. I love it! A remarkable job and I couldn't be happier.

I don't normally write testimonials but because of he exceptional work carried out and the benefits I just had to leave a review. Our polycarbonate conservatory roof was well past it's best. I went online and really only looked at the Nu Look website and read the testimonials to make the decision to have them replace our roof. Good decision. From quote to completion it was effortless. Everyone arrived on the right day at the right time and in quick succession from surveyor, to removing the old roof to putting up the beams and insulation (of which there is a lot!) tiling the roof (with my choice of colour for the tiles) the electrician and plasterers. All of the team were so polite and worked hard. We had the work carried out just before the current heatwave when there is no way we could open the conservatory doors into the house. Now we have them open and the rest of the house benefits from the flow of air through. No extreme heat. If you are thinking of having this job done do and use Nu Look. Similar to one of the other testimonials I can't stop enthusing about it.

We had our new roof fitted just over two years ago, it has made a world of difference; we are able to use the conservatory all year round now . First meeting with the company some two years ago. Full explanation of what was involved and time scale of work. No sales pressure. Work carried out two months later in a very professional manner, security of house maintained. Previous problems with water ingress against an integral stone wall totally solved. Internal and external finishes are first class, with insulation levels ensuring 365 day usage. We highly recommend the company and its workforce.

From the First visit when the sales rep called to the last visit we were impressed with Nu-Look. The roof looks amazing, inside plastered and spot lights and outside tiles matches the house. All company personnel were proficient and competent from sales, technical assessment, to tradesmen and office staff follow-up. The job was to replace a glass roof in a wooden framed garden room with Nu-Look insulated roof yet to retain some of the internal wood beam features. The job was done to specification, executed well and completed within a week.
