I don't normally write testimonials but because of he exceptional work carried out and the benefits I just had to leave a review. Our polycarbonate conservatory roof was well past it's best. I went online and really only looked at the Nu Look website and read the testimonials to make the decision to have them replace our roof. Good decision. From quote to completion it was effortless. Everyone arrived on the right day at the right time and in quick succession from surveyor, to removing the old roof to putting up the beams and insulation (of which there is a lot!) tiling the roof (with my choice of colour for the tiles) the electrician and plasterers. All of the team were so polite and worked hard. We had the work carried out just before the current heatwave when there is no way we could open the conservatory doors into the house. Now we have them open and the rest of the house benefits from the flow of air through. No extreme heat. If you are thinking of having this job done do and use Nu Look. Similar to one of the other testimonials I can't stop enthusing about it.

Nu look replaced the polycarbonate roof on our conservatory. A tiled roof was fitted. The work was done very efficiently with the different trades working one after the other in a very timely fashion. All was left very tidy after the work was completed. Would recommend this company.

I know there are some dodgy firms doing this work so I did some research. I'm pleased I selected Nu-Look. They did a good job. The work was completed in a timely manner and to a high standard. The workmen seemed professional and competent. I have been late in posting this review because I have been waiting for the Building Control Certificate and Guarantee which I have only just received.

We were really impressed with the fitters who did the roof, they worked really hard and a good job. They were tidy throughout and covered up whilst working. They kept any disruption to a minimum which was helpful.

The caliber of the work, both inside and out, is first class. I am extremely pleased with the end result. All of the workmen were quick, efficient and very pleasant. I would recommend Nu-look if you want to turn a barely used room into part of the home.

From the first initial contact with the salesman Gavin to the very last workman, the electrician. It has been a first class job. I had a full warm roof on my conservatory and I am delighted with it. I do not normally leave reviews but I have been so impressed with this company that I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Nu-Look are a very professional outfit. From the initial sales enquiry through to the completion of the job, the quality of the service provided was excellent. All the supporting trades were prompt and courteous throughout. Most importantly, the finished product is superb. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

All company personnel were proficient and competent from sales, technical assessment, to tradesmen and office staff follow-up. The job was to replace a glass roof in a wooden framed garden room with Nu-Look insulated roof yet to retain some of the internal wood beam features. The job was done to specification, executed well and completed within a week.

The initial Sales contact was excellent. The construction of the new roof was done with great care and consideration of our concerns. The transformation of our conservatory into a habitable room is amazing. Nu-Look liaise with their tradesmen regularly on progress but not with 'us the customer'; this leaves one feeling exposed and ignored. As the customer therefore one is left with talking to a succession of contractors who, whilst working mainly, but not exclusively for Nu-Look, are motivated mainly by the job in hand; one does not experience 'Nu-Look' through them. Anyone who has tried to engage tradespeople will know how difficult it is to find good, reliable people; so the fact that Nu-Look provided a succession of good tradespeople is a great benefit. We are very happy with the work completed; we hope that the short term benefits last.

Very impressed with Eddie's sales pitch. Agreed to go ahead, builders were 5 hours late on the first day. Phoning Nu-Look they weren't sure where the builders were. When they arrived the builders worked constantly and very hard. Issues came when my wife and I noticed the timber structure wasn't flush to each beam, the angle was cut incorrectly. This continued on all 20 beams. Talking to the builders the next day - we were greeted with attitude and explanations that 'it wouldn't make the roof stronger and this is how they do all roofs!' They didn't like our critiscism and work wasn't allowed to continue until the building inspector had assessed the structure. 20 beams had gaps some so large a finger could fit in between / excessive numbers of screws were visible to try and hold the beam to the wood structure. The building inspectors report confirmed our suspicions that our roof wasn't structurally sound and all 20 beams would need to be doubled up therefore our roof is 20 beams of wood heavier with less insulation as a result. The company didn't deal with our complaint in a professional manner. We weren't asking for money off just an apology. Instead we got hassled to sign the satisfaction note. The director of Nu-look emailed various reasons why we should sign as he had more pressing family issues to deal with. Because of these reasons we would not use or recommend Nu -look due to the building quality and how they dealt with the mistake. I can provide photos.
