Oakland fitted a stairlift for my parents in 2021 & have serviced it since then. Very pleased with both the initial fitting & their after-sales service. We pay for the annual warranty extension & have no complaints - it gives my parents peace of mind & on the odd occasion we have needed to call them out they have been both prompt & efficient.

Had a stairlift fitted by Rob Sweeney from Oakland Stairlifts for my then 97 year old auntie who stops with us three days a week and was unable to manage the stairs, this stairlift has transformed her life, she is now nearly 101 years old and still enjoying life. Great service from Rob and always happy to answer any queries we have. Highly recommended

My wife has been struggling with our stairs since her (successful but weakening) chemo and radio therapy. A stair lift was seen as a necessity and and several suppliers were compared online. Oakland were efficient, helpful and they offered sensible advise without a pressurised sales pitch. I arranged for a reconditioned straight stairlift to be installed as soon as possible and this was done without any fuss or bother. The stairlift has been in use constantly over the past year without any problems.

We have done Which check and selected them as they are a family run local business with great reviews. I contacted them via email on Friday, got phone call almost immediately and Rob came to see us next working day (Monday). His advice was customer orientated without “trying to make the money from us”. His manner was professional, friendly and approachable. The installation took place on Saturday the same week and the installer was also very impressive, friendly and tidy. So far we got the lift in use only for a few days, but it works perfectly. We were really very fortunate to find Oakland thanks to Which.

I found Oakland by chance on the internet and boy am I glad I found them I can’t praise them highly enough particularly Rob who came out to measure up to Rory who fitted my stairlift it’s nice to find an honest company that advertise the price you pay without hidden extras unbelievable value as i contacted other companies before I found Oakland who quoted astronomical prices for the same service and then hounded me for a sale Rob made the transaction absolutely faultless I am one very grateful and happy customer so if your looking for a stairlift forget the rest and contact Oakland.

We were looking for a company to fit a stairlift For my elderly mum who had recently moved in with us. I?d had quotes from three companies before I contacted Oakland stair lifts. Rob listened to our requirements and advised us, he didn't make us feel like it was just a sale , but rather a bespoke service that was tailored for my mum.
