I’m writing about our experience with Orange Solar Ltd. We had solar PV panels (15), an Anker Solix X1 three-phase battery inverter and a 20 kWh battery (5 kWh x 4), plus the Anker Power Dock Pro whole-home backup gateway installed. John Arnold was referred to me by a colleague from work. After a negative experience with a building contractor in the past, a positive, no-reservation recommendation from my colleague was worth its weight in gold. I was not disappointed. Flexibility in installation and prompt removal of the scaffolding were good examples. It went up on a Friday, work commenced and was completed the following Monday, and it was removed by the end of the day Wednesday. As my new neighbours' Sky TV was affected by the scaffolding, John moved things around to have it removed without delay. The installation went as planned, executed neatly and professionally. One small commissioning issue was resolved by Anker Technical, liaising with John, in less than 24 hrs. The system has been installed now for just over a week and is working perfectly. I’d highly recommend Orange Solar Ltd and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

I had a large domestic 52 panel solar system complete with 32kWh battery installed by Orange Solar. The panels were fitted over 4 separate roof sections which involved interesting cable runs and the install was completed over a number of dates which fitted in with installer and my availability. This helped get the job completed in sections on the different roof areas, and fully on time. The installers were excellent. They were thorough, tidy and completed a high quality job, and the system has worked perfectly since install. Communication with John over the scheduling was excellent and any questions I had were promptly answered. I highly recommend Orange Solar.

We already had solar panels fitted 8 years ago by a different company. Orange Solar Systems Ltd came and fitted a Fox Ess 5 KW AC charger and an EP11 battery. This was fitted to the outside of the house and is raised up off the ground. It is concealed by our bins , so it is not obvious. The 3 workmen were excellent, they were very helpful and left the job clean and tidy. John Arnold had previously come to assess the job and was very open to our many questions. He has been very good at helping us understand how to manage the battery and get the best from it .

I had a Fox-Ess AC charger and battery storage installed at my house following a prior installation of solar panels a few years ago (also installed by Orange Solar Systems) the team were really friendly and very knowledgeable and very good at explaining to me how the system would work in practice with tips on how to get the best out of the system. They also helped me to get logged on to the accompanying app on my mobile. I was really pleased with the work and how it was all carried out and would highly recommend them.

We had a fantastic experience with Orange Solar installing our solar panels. From the first contact, their response was incredibly fast and helpful. Everyone we spoke to was knowledgeable and took the time to explain things clearly. They installed 5 solar panels along with a bird blocker on the main roof and the whole process was smooth and well-organised. The installation team was professional, punctual, and respectful of our home. They have worked efficiently and left everything spotless. We felt confident throughout thanks to their attention to detail and excellent communication. We're thrilled with the results and highly recommend them to anyone considering solar. The Orange Solar team upgraded my solar system, which they had previously installed, to a larger and more capable setup with an enhanced solar inverter and additional battery storage. Before commencing work, the team thoroughly reviewed my existing installation and offered several helpful optimisation suggestions I hadn't considered, including an offline grid mode - which made the new system even better. During installation, the team were helpful, polite, and efficient. The system was fitted with minimal disruption, followed by comprehensive testing and a full overview of the work. They ensured I was completely satisfied with how the new systems operated and confirmed the iPhone app had updated correctly with everything working to plan. The team followed up via email a week later to check I was happy with the work and that the system was performing as expected. Overall, an excellent professional service that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
