I have used James's service for both setting up a new home network, and helping me set up a new Apple computer. He was professional from start to finish. He explains everything clearly, in a way that is easy to understand. I think the service provided is good value for money, completing the work in a very timely fashion. A polite, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful service, that makes the experience stress free.

I had a specific request which was to consolidate the many photos I have saved in different ways eg drop box, I cloud, memory cards, dvds etc James guided me through how to get them all in one place. Thank you for all your help and support.

James supplied and installed new PC with Windows 11. Not only did he do this, but made sure my new PC was set up exactly per old one with all microphones, printers/scanners, cameras, linked, additional programs remained and working, in short all the nitty gritty details that could so easily be overlooked, (and cause me aggravation!) were done. James ensured a seamless transition and I was able to continue using my PC as if nothing had changed. This is exceptional in my opinion as these days, rarely is anything done without any hiccoughs. Work was done to budget, clearly explained with optional extras eg additional warranties if I choose. What is super impressive is James explains things clearly, without jargon, and no question is a bother. I always say "What do other people do if they don't have a James?!" I'd wholeheartedly recommend.

I have used James for about 10 years, using him to do an annual check on my equipment and install necessary programs. He is always pleasant and helpful, even resolving problems over emails outside contract. He has also advised me about new equipment that I have needed to buy. He has always been able to rsove any problems that have arisen.

I think anyone who relies on email for their work or social life will understand how stressful it is when it goes wrong. My Outlook crashed, and James resolved all the issues over 2 weeks - but the key was the fact that he got it functioning on his first visit and then returned to deal with various remaining, but not crisis-ridden, issues. In between, he was contactable on WhatsApp. He took time to explain various technical stuff and I felt total confidence that all would be well. Stress has now gone, and all is now good - thankyou James (Our Technician).

I can recommend James for IT services from the work he has done for me this month. I found his contact details in a recent edition of a local magazine, Life in Beckenham, and his advert shows that he has a full range of capabilities. James has been very effective in sorting out a small technical difficulty with my PC and then in bringing the PC up to date by installing Windows 11. The PC should now see me out. James was very helpful in accompanying his work with detailed technical explanations to enable me to follow what had gone wrong and what was needed to bring the PC to full working order.

I have used James for over 12 years, he comes every year and cleans and inputs my anti virus. This year my old laptop gave up the ghost, James knew exactly what I needed and so I asked him to order my new laptop. He came with the new laptop, transferred everything over to the new one and the set up was exactly as the old one, so not much to learn. I have recommended James to friends and family and we are all very impressed with him. I would not use anyone else.

I had a major panic recently, as I accidentally knocked my laptop, causing it to fall on the floor & in the process smashing my screen. I was on a big deadline & needed to use that laptop! I called James in a panic, asking for his help. He was brilliant & immediately put my mind at rest & assured me it was all fixable, he then came to my house & gave me some leads to connect the laptop to the TV, so I could continue with my work. He ordered a new screen, which he then fitted the next day when it arrived. All very calm & efficiently dealt with, despite my initial panic! I would absolutely recommend James.

James did a spring clean of our computers and devices and also explained how best to use them and new technologies with great competence and an ability to explain things memorably. This was our second time but certainly not the last.

A very good experience. I wanted to upgrade from windows 10 to11 and increase the storage on my desktop. James spent time explaining all the options. He transferred all my files & software and installed a larger SSD and more RAM. The computer now looks and performs exactly as before, which is what I wanted. He clearly explained all the stages of the process. He is knowledgeable, thorough and methodical and will spend as much time as the job takes without rushing. The process was not straightforward because of hardware issues, but any problems were quickly resolved without fuss. He is very polite, friendly and professional and was happy to answer all my questions. You may have to wait, but this is a good sign and shows that he is in demand for his excellent service. I was impressed.

We have used James' services several times for home and business needs. On this occasion he brought us a second new and smaller Windows 11 laptop for exclusive use in our work on cruise ships. He transferred the data from our home laptop and also set up his personalised Cloud system on both laptops for instant back up. He also upgraded the memory on the new laptop to meet our storage needs for an extensive music library. All this work was done in our home, explaining as he progressed so we understood how everything worked. James is totally reliable and trustworthy and we wholeheartedly recommend his company to anyone looking for an excellent IT service, whether domestic or business.
