Our Technician

This is not the first time James has undertaken work on my computer to solve problems. He responds promptly and asks questions that help him to diagnose problems. On this occasion he was trying to find the problem with my TalkTalk email. He persisted and eventually resolved the issue. His extensive knowledge is very reassuring. He is always willing to explain what he is doing in a way I can understand, and is happy to answer questions. I have every confidence in his work and would be happy to recommend him highly

At a time when I was unable to access or send emails, our technician took on the problem. He diagnosed the possible cause, reassured me that it was unlikely that my computer had been compromised, and set about resolving the problem. He undertook to talk to my email provider and act on my behalf, taking an active part in resolving the problem in 24 hours. The relief of having our technician working on the problem was tremendous. I had been very concerned about the possibility of being scammed. I knew that he would work on the problem until it was resolved.

OurTech / James has been our IT support for our business for years now. James is very efficient, friendly and clear with his instructions/diagnostics. Always helps us if we have any issues with our PCs / phones etc and every year he comes to service / oversea the set up to ensure everything is running as it should and backed up so we never loose anything. Would highly recommend James to anyone.

Our Technician have dealt with all our computer-related needs for about 10 years, including providing and installing new computers and laptops and dealing with the entire range of issues that arise. James seems incredibly knowledgeable and can always provide expert, up-to-date and cost-effective advice in any situation. We know we can place complete trust in his advice and his work, and his charges for his work seem very reasonable. I would be very alarmed if he retired or moved away to a different part of the country!

James attended my address with a new computer built by him. he fitted the new computer and down loaded data on old computer. I am happy with all the work he did and would recommend him to anybody with computer problems.

I hate Microsoft, I really do. But James has set it up for me to make it much easier. He always listens to my concerns when essential upgrading is required and always makes it easier for me. i've now got an option of exploring Firefox that doesn't seem too scary as well as Google (my preferred option). James has also made lots of useful adjustments. You can guess I'm not a techy person so It's great to have someone who can simplify it all.

Jamie transferred all my files & software to a new PC as my old one could not run Windows 11. He interacted with me and clearly explained all the stages of the tfr. He is knowledgeable, thorough and methodical and will spend as much time as the job takes without rushing through it. Compared to some of the jobs i read that he undertakes mine was relatively small but i still felt like a valued customer. He is very polite and didn't mind all my silly questions. A real bonus is that he does home visits and that is good from the perspective of anyone concerned about leaving their devices away from home. The job was done at the agreed time and cost and considering it avoided me having to make two trips to a high street store, to take and then collect my pcs and be without them for a while i think his charge was very reasonable. I will now make him my first point of call for any future tech services. One point for the WHICH website managers - it took me a lot of guessing at trader titles before i hit on the correct trader title to flag up - Our Techincian. Maybe where applicable traders could be flagged under all relative titles

James transferred data from existing old laptop to a new one. Absolutely perfect, I am really pleased with the results. He is professional, helpful and polite. I will always use him for any PC issues going forward.

Having spent £k’s on trying to get our WiFi working properly (large old house with thick walls), james is the only one who has finally cracked it. He is very good at what he does He is also an extremely nice young man with a great work ethic. I would highly recommend him, you will not be disappointed.

When our old laptop stopped working we didn't know what to do. We found James at Our Tech on check a trade and we were really happy with him. He is polite, professional, clearly understands what he's doing and sorted us quickly and efficiently. We now have a lovely new laptop that works really well and have the added bonus that we know we can ring James if we have a problem.

James as always responded to our call speedily and efficiently in his as always positive manner. Our internet was being recognised by all our other devices but intermittently was dropping out on my laptop each time for a few hours. Then it dropped out for out for a few days. I needed the internet restored asap as I had a planned shared phone call with my son who lived abroad and his adviser when I needed to access documents. James saved the day restoring my internet and tidying up a few other issues caused by careless use. James is professional, polite and great at explaining issues. We know he is never more than a call or message away

Have used before (replaced disk drive and transferred data to new). Responded rapidly to my call for help when system tempramental, sorted my issues, reasonable charges. Highly recommend
