Oxyplumb Boiler Services

We've been using Oxyplumb for a couple of years for our regular boiler servicing. Recently we thought about getting a Scale-Out product fitted to our mains water supply under the kitchen sink. After getting some expert advice from Roberto and Josh, we decided to go ahead with the installation. Lisa, in the office, turned around a quote within the same day and the installation was booked for the following week. On the day of installation Roberto and Josh arrived promptly and got straight to work. The installation wasn't easy, as it required quite a bit of pipe re-work to fit the unit in under the sink. We'd also decided to get a mixer tap fitted to the outside / garden tap which required a hot water pipe installed, adding to the re-work. However, Roberto and Josh did an excellent job of re-designing the pipe work so that it all fit neatly and worked correctly! Throughout the process they kept me informed of what they were doing and were super helpful when I had questions about the Scale-Out product and maintenance. We are very happy with the end result, the quality of the work carried out is exceptional, Roberto and Josh are polite, efficient, and professional. There were no extra costs, the quote Lisa sent was what we ended up paying. I am happy to recommend this company and am glad to have found such good, local plumbing engineers.

Rang on Monday and was able to book boiler service for end of the week. On the day, the engineer messaged to say he was on the way. Mike arrived on time and was very friendly, even when the Christmas decorations fell on him when he opened the loft! Explained everything he was doing and why throughout the process which was completed quickly and efficiently. Would recommend Oxyplumb.

Was contacted in advance to remind us that yearly service due. Kept us updated right up to letting us know that engineer was on his way. Arrived on time. Work carried out quickly and efficiently. No mess made. Dealt with our concerns about the pump. Made sure when they left that we were happy and had no further issues. Have been using this company for over 5 years and will continue to do so.

As happens every year all aspects from booking the appointment to the service on our Potterton boiler all carried out with complete professionalism.

This was the first time I’ve used Oxyplumb to service my LPG Boiler. The whole process was first class. Making the booking was simple. The engineer turned up at the correct time and completed the job without problems. I will definitely use them again.

We have used Oxyplumb for our last two boiler service and have been pleased with their work.Yesteday I informed them we had a leak in a radiator/towel rail Mathew arrived today just after 12pm and in around 45 minutes it was all fixed. From reporting the leak to the repair of the leak everyone was pleasant courteous and efficient

When we had a problem with the kitchen and utility room waste water pipe blocking up, Oxyplumb came over the same day and fixed the problem. Moreover, they have made a modification that means if it happens again it will be quicker and easier to resolve. All this was done for a fair charge.

We had a problem with the downstairs loo. We had a really good chat with Lisa, who worked out how long the appointment needed to be and how much it would cost, and confirmed the appointment. We got a text on the day of the appointment to advise that the plumber was on his way, and James turned up as scheduled. He was friendly and informative and completed the work without fuss or mess in the time planned. The invoice was emailed the next day, exactly in line with the quote. Couldn’t fault the end-to-end service

We had a leaking pipe in the garage and also many radiators that did not seem to be working. Oxyplumb were extremely helpful on the phone (Sarah and Liza) and arranged a visit by one of their plumbers. Mike was excellent: arrived when stated, was very personable, efficient, knowledgeable and went the extra the mile getting us a pump in order to get us sorted with heating, especially with a young baby being in the house. He sorted all our issues and provided clear explanations and answered all our questions. Thank you.

Josh came for a gas boiler service. He is on time, polite and easy to talk to and things always work better when he has dealt with them, explaining what he did. As a business they always seem to employ professional and civil people who take pride in their work.Thank you again.

Oxyplumb recently completed a boiler upgrade to our home. Having gone out to a couple of other firms, Oxyplumb were competitive on price. The install was completed on time and the engineer was polite, tidy and punctual. Given the boiler was being installed in an older property, the engineer did well to deal with a couple of constaints and was really accomodating. Would thoroughly recommend Oxyplumb.

I have used Oxyplus numerous times over the years and every time the have been thorough keeping me informed as to the progress, always neat and tidy. Admin wise they changed my service date with no problem and keeping me informed even down to what time their service rep would be arriving at my house, to the minute. Cabt thank them enough.

I dealt with Leigh from survey / quotation until his personal work replacing our old boiler. He provided a clear and fair quotation, maintained good contact throughout, and proved reliable. Good attention to detail and neat work. The installation went as he said, and he was responsive in quickly replacing a faulty ex-factory part on the boiler so we were not without hot water. Good job and good people.

Lee fitted a new boiler and updated our central heating system. He came recommended from more than one of my friends offered a competitive price compared to other quotes. I’m so glad I used Lee, even though he was busy he did the job as he promised and did a great job at that. I’ll definitely be using Lee again and will make sure I recommend him to my friends, thanks Lee!

I e-mailed Oxyplumb on the Monday and arranged an appointment for the Wednesday. Our engineer turned up on the dot of the time of our appointment. Our appointment was for a boiler service which the engineer completed efficiently while we could carry on what we were doing. Once it had been completed we were given confirmation that the boiler was in good working order, a reminder of the date for next year's annual service and info on how the invoice would be sent over. The invoice was sent the following day and simply paid by BACS. We got receipt confirmation within a few hours of paying. All in all, a great service.

Having received the Annual reminder, I contacted them and made a booking with a given time for the engineer to arrive. On the day I received a text message to say he would be with us in 10 minutes which was the time he was due. On arrival Matthew checked to see it was OK to enter and whether we had any problems with the Boiler since his visit last year. He carried out the Service very efficiently in a tidy manner and finally checked all the settings and outlets. A very efficient and friendly company to deal with and local they do what they have agreed to do and at the agreed price. I am 100% satisfied with Oxyplumb and their staff.

I contacted Oxyplumb after finding them through Which. We did a total strip out and refurbishment of our house four years ago. The plumbing has been a real disappointment. Oxyplumb came in, identified various problems and we agreed that some major changes were required. There were storage tanks taking up space which were never used, a filter system which wasn't in use and a very expensive pump which has been removed. Our oil bills were also horrendous. The house is warmer, and we are delighted.

Back in the time before Christmas, the trusty old Ideal boiler was showing its age. Not really economical to repair so had a Worcester Bosch unit installed by Matt and Kevin. Floorboards needed lifting to install the condensate drain and on being reinstated, you would never know the carpet had been lifted. Matt installed the boiler and the flue proved to be a challenge but nonetheless overcome. Everything tidied up and no mess left at all. Shall certainly use again and recommend. Price was as expected and hoped for and Amanda a pleasure to deal with.

This is the first time I have used Oxyplumb, since my previous servicer has now retired. Leigh and his colleague were very polite and tidy. They completed the service very rapidly and it was particularly helpful to receive the text to tell they were on the way and to provide their ETA. They turned up exactly when they said they would. Pricing was reasonable for the work. Will definitely use them again.

We needed a new central heating boiler urgently and Leigh and his team were able to respond very quickly. The job was done on time and efficiently and without being asked to, they resolved the problem of an inaccessible water stopcock with a tool they improvised and left for us. Highly recommended.

His work ethic is first class and his friendliness and knowledge are again top notch. Oxyplumb were quick, courteous, and efficient; there was no waiting on hold for a call centre; an engineer came as soon as they could fit us in (given that this was in February, the wait was shorter than expected -- and they actually apologised they couldn't come sooner as they were so busy). The engineer called in advance arrived on time, found and fixed the problem right away, explained the process and price of work and parts needed, no surprise costs: overall, excellent.
