My central heating boiler broke down over Christmas and I had great difficulty in getting a replacement until I found OXYPLUMB. Within 2 days from my first contact, Matthew and Leigh had fitted a new boiler. They were very efficient and did a neat and tidy job. Excellent service.

Oxyplumb proved a great choice and came up with a great plan.The MD of the company thought outside box in resolving the replacement boiler problem during a difficult holiday period. The engineer arrived promptly at 8am and put in a professional job and complete the job on time and left me with a nice warm home. Fantastic. Honestly the best plumbing & Boiler company we have ever used. They answer the phone turn up when they promise and do an exceptional job for a well priced cost. Amanda and Leigh provide updates as to the arrival time of the there fitter who turned up early and then proceeded to do a few extra bits at no extra charge. Oxyplumb have completed our boiler service twice now and on both occasions the staff arrived on time and completed the work efficiently. They leave the place clean and tidy. We've also used Oxyplumb to solve an issue with the heating timer and the new part was ordered and fitted within a couple of days of the problem being identified. 1st Annual Service of our Bosch Greenstar boiler which, (although I had remembered myself), was prompted by Oxyplumb via email - nice touch! Roberto - who had installed the boiler last year - called at exactly the time planned, 8am. Not sure what is exactly involved in "a service" but he did leave a bit of mess in the bathroom after cleaning the filter and after he had gone, the radiators remained cold. Fortunately, I was able guess the problem, he had not turned the isolating valves to the filter back on. Not sure if £90 is a competitive price for a service as this was my first, however, I have always found Oxyplumb an efficient company to deal with.

All my dealings with this company were very positive, from my initial phone contact, to e-mails confirming payment and asking how they had done. I was kept informed throughout the process and Roberto did a very professional job of giving my gas boiler and system filter its annual service. A reasonable price and I will be using them again.

Leigh from Oxyplumb came out for the initial quote and was very informative and knowledgeable and was the only vendor to give me multiple options for the installation of the new boiler. He then provided a very competitive quote. Roberto arrived at 8am on both days and was very efficient, he installed the system well and then informed me of the procedure for the system flush and how to use the new boiler and smart control. He cleaned up after himself and was very diligent. I am very happy with the install and would recommend Oxyplumb for anyone needing plumbing work done.

Having received the Annual reminder, I contacted them and made a booking with a given time for the engineer to arrive. On the day I received a text message to say he would be with us in 10 minutes which was the time he was due. On arrival Matthew checked to see it was OK to enter and whether we had any problems with the Boiler since his visit last year. He carried out the Service very efficiently in a tidy manner and finally checked all the settings and outlets. A very efficient and friendly company to deal with and local they do what they have agreed to do and at the agreed price. I am 100% satisfied with Oxyplumb and their staff.

Having previously struggled with annual service contracts (British Gas), this boiler service was a breath of fresh air! Highly efficient reminder/booking process and updates ensuring minimal upheaval. Service carried out as agreed, on time and professionally, with due regard to Social Distancing.

I had a leaking radiator valve and looked at the Oxyplumb website and found Leigh was offering video calls to diagnose faults. We set up a call and he was very quickly able to offer advice that allowed me to fix the problem myself. Fantastic service all for free. I would definitely recommend giving it a go if you have a small problem to fix.

Was contacted as usual by the company when annual service to my oil fired boiler due. Appointment agreed and price quoted. Plumber attended as promised and work carried out to full satisfaction. Have used this company on a number of occasions and have always been happy with the quality of work and have recommended to others.

Leigh was prompt in responding to my first email and the guys turned up on time and did a great job fitting a new shower pump. The cost was just the cost of the part and an hour's labour. Completely transparent and great value. Another little job, the leaky shower head, was fixed without me asking and no cost. I'll definitely use again.

Despite the current difficulties, Oxyplumb were able to fix our water, gas and radiators professionally and safely. They amended their quoted price to reflect work which was able to be done, and were competitively priced. We would recommend them without hesitation.

Having had a 35 year old warm air system for heating, we required a full retro installation of radiators and heating systems to the house. The options Leigh gave us allowed us to make an informed choice of just how far we wanted to go. Deciding on a fully pressurized water system and 11 designer radiators, the job was quoted for and completed on budget. Could we have found a cheaper price? Possibly, but I had confidence that Oxyplumb would get it right first time. The team spent a full 3 weeks installing the pipe work, running and testing the installation. Removing the old system and clearing down. Knowing that we were going onto re-fit bathrooms and kitchen, Roberto the lead installer located everything from boiler, two water tanks and Wifi management system to the rear of the garage, keeping the house clear. In the process he moved the main stop cock to the garage and providing both isolation taps to the hot and cold water with full drain down ports for each. I have had Oxyplumb come and help with the gas installation as part of the kitchen upgrades again just this week. Their installers not only know their jobs but are polite and helpful throughout.

We had a new boiler fitted and a power flush done as the heating was not working properly downstairs as well as one radiator replaced and an outside tap fitted. Oxyplumb told us we also needed thermostatic radiator valves fitted to each radiator. Since this work was done we have found out the flue on the boiler was not sealed in accordance with regulations, that the power flush was done in the wrong place and therefore ineffective and a waste of money, the thermostatic radiator valves were not essential and should not be fitted on every single radiator anyway (so more money wasted) and the piping for the outside tap was simply trailed across the loft with no insulation or anything and a really messy job made of it through the walls. Luckily (now we realise how bad the work was) Oxyplumb were supposed to quote for additional work to make the heating work but despite chasing they never did. We have spent another year without proper heating and a lot of time with other plumbers trying to understand what was wrong with the heating if the powerflush didn’t work to realise the powerflush might as well not have been done. We have now had to spend additional money having the poor work rectified as well as the money wasted already. A really disappointing experience.

We needed plumbing help in an emergency - a small job but urgent. I was delighted that when I spoke to Amanda she promised to get someone to us the same day - and in fact, someone arrived only two hours later. The job was completed efficiently and courteously so we are very pleased and would recommend.

Oxyplumb fitted our new boiler last year and we were so happy with their service that we called them to do the first annual service. The engineer from Oxyplumb was punctual, efficient, polite, conscientious, and was happy to give time and attention to the questions we had about our system. Full marks for an excellent company. Oxyplumb annually service my boiler and if we have any little niggles with taps etc. they always fix them without any extra charge. I have just had some quotes in for a new boiler installation and they beat another quote I obtained by £700 even when they included a better (Worcester) boiler. I am certain they will do a professional and brilliant job and would recommend all of the plumbers they use to anyone.

We needed a new central heating boiler urgently and Leigh and his team were able to respond very quickly. The job was done on time and efficiently and without being asked to, they resolved the problem of an inaccessible water stopcock with a tool they improvised and left for us. Highly recommended.

I contacted Oxyplump thinking that they probably wouldn’t be interested in a small job of a leaky tap. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I was phoned with 10 minutes of submitting my enquiry online and someone came out within an hour. New taps were fitted as the old ones had seized. Job done within 40 minutes. Really pleased and happy with the service. Received invoice not long after job was completed and was able to pay in the Oxyplumb shop which was really convenient. Would have no hesitation in recommending them and using them again.
