We were very lucky to find Paul and his colleagues at P4 Services Ltd who were able to step in and help us out when we were let down by our Insurers (or rather their consultants and contractors) following water ingress to our newly refurbished downstairs cloakroom requiring a complete strip out of flooring, tiling and fixtures and reinstatement. It had taken our Insurers’ consultants almost 7 months to decide what needed to be done and, by then, the contractors had only carried out strip out works. At our Insurers’ suggestion (and to avoid further delays) we took over responsibility for the reinstatement works and appointed P4. Despite being involved with another large project, Paul was able to reassure us that he had people who could carry out the necessary works. He kept us informed at every stage and went to great pains to ensure that we were completely happy. Paul and his team were knowledgeable, friendly and approachable and very easy to have around. The works were completed to a high standard and in a time frame to suit us. We have no hesitation in recommending Paul and P4.

We used Paul from P4 for a substantial house extension & renovation in 2025, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. From the very first meeting we knew he was the man. His quote sat in the middle of three, but what really stood out was his approach: thoughtful, flexible and collaborative. He helped us shape our plans for 5 months before work even started, and he put together a staggered payment plan that worked perfectly for us both. The build itself took 9 months - entirely on schedule. Paul was clear from the outset that 6 months would cover the minimum, but as we expanded the scope to future-proof the house, 9 months was bang on. The quality of the extension & renovation was so good that we ended up doing other areas. Paul understood exactly what we were trying to achieve, offered excellent suggestions, and always focused on delivering our vision, even if it differed from his view. Communication was awesome: a WhatsApp group with frequent updates, videos and questions (both ways) kept us fully informed. He was always available and good-humoured. Paul is always on site himself, works with a great team and excellent tradesmen, takes no shortcuts, and pays real attention to detail. He dealt patiently and diplomatically with neighbours, adapted to unexpected challenges, and was esp. knowledgeable & supportive when we added solar panels mid-project. He takes real pride in his work and is happily helping with snagging. We monopolised him in 2025 – Paul and P4 are outstanding.

Paul & the team did a fantastic job in creating our block built garden room which is fully insulated with an internal electricity and internet supply and external remote control lights. We were unsure what we could build to keep it within permitted regulations and Paul advised us of our best options. Paul kept us fully updated with the plans for the day and expected delivery dates etc. The site was left in a tidy condition at the end of each day. The room is being used as a hobby room and all that was left for us to do was to paint the inside to our choice. It is a beautiful addition to our garden and would not hesitate to use them again.

Paul was recommend to me to help after I discovered a sink hole at the side of my property. He attended my property to take a look the day that I got in touch with him and was very reassuring, and booked me in to undertake the work as quickly as possible. On further investigation Paul found I needed new guttering and to re-concrete and re-lay a great deal of the driveway stones. Paul did all of this on the day and did an excellent job, leaving everything looking neat and fully rectified. He was really clear about what had caused the issue and the remedial work required, and for everything he achieved his pricing was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend him!

We had a difficult problem with a garage base that was not built properly some years ago by another company. Paul came up with a solution, and his team were able to strengthen the sides to maintain it's stability, which has given us great peace of mind. Would highly recommend

Paul and his team are truly fantastic! We purchased a derelict property and P4 Services turned it into a dream home. Every step of the way has been a pleasure. He is professional and efficient and the entire process had smooth progress. This wasn't our first renovation, but without a doubt, it was the most enjoyable experience we've ever had. Communication was effortless, and he always went above and beyond to address any concerns. If you're looking for a builder who delivers the best quality, alongside the best experience, then Paul is your guy. Our dream home is a testament to his skills and dedication. We highly recommend and if we ever do another project, he will be our first choice without hesitation!

Paul and his team did a loft conversion with kitchen and bathroom, kitchen fitting and renovation of downstairs bathroom. Everything was done to a high standard and to the budget. Paul was great at communicating throughout the process and at solving minor problems along the way. All his team are friendly, professional and tidy and made a particular effort to ensure that the house was liveable in throughout.

Paul and his team worked efficiently with minimum impact on neighbours. The work has been carried out to the highest standard and the cheerful disposition of Paul and his team make it a real pleasure to work with him. The attention to detail and tidiness of his team are second to none. This is the second project I have undertaken with Paul and I would be pleased to recommend him in the future.

Chosen as we felt from the beginning we could trust Paul. His price was comparable to other quotes but I liked the way he estimated costs for items we had yet to choose e.g. doors, so we could have an overall budget. Of course, as we went along we asked for more as one-half of the project was a new build and the other half major refurbishment so some unexpected costs e.g. rewiring. Particularly liked the relationship with the subcontractors - electrician & plumber, used to working together and all high-quality great tradespeople. Paul himself is a great leader and has great standards respecting customers and neighbours. No bad language no loud music. Considerate parking. All this was commented on by neighbours including how hard they worked and how kept the site tidy. We were living off-site but visited very frequently to monitor progress. Paul was very solution-focused when we hit a few design problems and saved us money in the process. His everyday team were great and would help with anything. To be honest we missed them being around when they left. Few hiccups since the job finished and Paul still responded e.g. with heating. I would highly recommend Paul and of course, we are delighted with the results of the whole project.
