Welcome to my website, I am Richard the owner of Panache Maintenance. I have over 30 years experience in the Property Maintenance business, I have undergone many domestic and commercial projects over the years.
My business model ensures I price fairly whilst offering my clients total transparency on the cost of work carried out.
I work on all sizes of projects and all are finished to exceptionally high standards.
I personally know how important it is to have a home to be proud of and this reflects in the high quality of standards of my work.
I offer free quotations, along with a detailed breakdown of the works required and costs attached. All aspects of home improvements are covered.

Richard arranged for several jobs including painting a bathroom and fitting of cupboard shelves, a TV wall bracket, bathroom cabinet, hall mirror, picture, key safe and coat hooks. He is obviously very experienced with skills in a wide range of areas. He was punctual, courteous and hardworking. He completed the jobs speedily and to a high standard and cleaned up on completion. His charges were fair and reasonable. I would not hesitate in calling on him again or recommending him to others.

A wooden gate at my father’s house had become misaligned and would not close. Richard responded quickly to my initial enquiry and came out the next morning (a Saturday) to look at it and give a quote for the repair, which was very reasonable. He arranged to come to do the work the following week, arrived on time and did a great job – he even put some wood treatment on a second gate which was sticking. I would not hesitate to use Richard again and highly recommend him.

Richard did lots of odd jobs around the house, including fixing a broken toilet seat, broken doors, window sills and a table. He was efficient and friendly and did the work at a very reasonable price. I'm pretty sure I'll be using him again and I'd recommend him to anyone.

This was the first time that Richard has done work for me. He was very pleasant, hard working and made sure that everything was ok before he left. Both integral freezer and fridge doors were not shutting properly - they do now. A corner cupboard door had dropped and needed hinges adjusted which he quickly put right. I would certainly use him again and have no hesitation in recommending him.

Richard has been doing odd jobs for us now for about 10 years. He is reliable and always does a good job and has helped us with many different jobs. My garden shed has a flat roof which needed replacing. I telephoned Richard to see if he could help with this. He asked me for some photos of the roof, which I duly sent. Two days later Richard came to take measurements. Nu the end of the week a new roof was fitted. I found Richard to be polite, punctual and very helpful.

I am so pleased with the work Richard carried out, He was extremely helpful, polite and always on time. He’s very hard working and completes any job in good time. He completed a number of jobs for me in order to transform the front of my house including; electrical, rendering, painting and paving. My house has never looked so good.

Having read some negative comments about sites which connect people with approved tradespeople, I was pleased to see that Which has a ‘Trusted Trader’ site. Richard arranged for a large mirror, bathroom cabinet and coats hooks to be fixed to the wall and also secured a light pendant and removed a redundant socket. He was punctual, professional and obviously very experienced. The jobs were carried out promptly and efficiently and Richard hoovered and left all areas clean. The charge was very reasonable. Richard will be returning to arrange for some carpentry work. I cannot praise him enough. Look no further!

Richard was quick to respond to our initial call. He was punctual on the day and very efficient and thorough in the work he did for us. He fitted a new fence panel and post and made repairs to our rear garden gate. It was a solid job and the property feels more secure as a result. He is thoughtful, polite and helpful in explaining and offering advice. He straightened out a damaged track on our lounge dividing doors and got the doors up and moving smoothly again. We are extremely pleased with the work he did for us and his quote for the work was very reasonable. Strongly recommend him for all property maintenance and improvement work.

Richard is great. He changed taps, bathroom sealant. General handyman- hanging mirrors, Tv bracket, draws etc. he also put together a particularly tricky bike shed! He works very quickly and his finishing is excellent. Highly recommend.

After failing miserably to rehang the door on my garage, which had left the door open and so a security risk. I contacted Richard on Maundy Thursday, and was pleasantly surprised he actually answered. I explained my problem he offered to come the next day and when I explained I wasn't available, he offered to come the day after, Saturday morning, Easter weekend. He arrived on time and had an immediate idea how to tackle the problem. He secured the door but pointed out that the cause was some rotting wood that meant it needed a more long team fix. I look forward to getting his quote for this work.

He showed up on time. Brought the requested items to hang our large mirror. Measured it and installed it perfectly. He quickly figured out our door hanger which I couldn’t out. I did manage to chip into the door frame quite a bit which was not required at all. Analyzed a problem with our closet doors which we will get sorted after we get the part. That’s right he will get the call in that one. He is our man.

We originally hired him to repaint our bathroom, but when Richard arrived he noticed that we had a humidity problem in the room which would mean that the paintwork would likely need redoing quite quickly after the original job had been done. He suggested that we had the humidity problem fixed first and suggested that we get 3 different quotes from other traders which we did. We found them ourselves and the replastering was completed. Richard then came back to complete the painting work and informed us that the plastering was poor quality and recommended that we ask the other trader to remediate the plastering work. We did this also and it was completed to a much better standard. Richard then came back and completed the paint work which looked excellent and our humidity issue is now also resolved thanks to his advice and guidance. Whilst he was finishing the paint work, we asked him to complete some additional tasks which he was happy to do, such as installing some tiles, lights and hooks. I am very happy with the quality of the work and the value for money was excellent. I would rate him higher for value for money if I could.

Fence panels, new posts and fitted a new gate which was affected by storm. Made such a difference. We'll definitely have him back if needed. Richard was super tidy and cleaned up after himself. He was really relaxed and I didn't feel uncomfortable with him in my home at all.
