P&T rearranged their work programme so they could replace our boiler as a matter of urgency because we were seen as vulnerable pensioners. The house is 90 years old and the old boiler installed some 20 years ago. The old boiler used to be noisy and unreliable and use a lot of gas. The new one is silent and much more efficient. The old pipework was a bit of a nightmare and there were 3 water tanks with ballcocks in the loft and a large hot water tank in the middle of the house which made the place too hot in the summer. The new condensing combi boiler uses less gas and requires no storage tanks of any kind. Its controls are easy to understand and use and it is guaranteed for 10 years. The standard of workmanship on the new pipework is outstanding.

Called out when my old boiler broke down. Not repairable due to age and lack of parts. Quoted for new boiler, which was accepted and work commenced within 10 days. Had to remove old boiler, make good old pipes and gas supply, supply & fit new combi boiler and flue in loft, make good hole in external wall. Work was completed in a day except for hole in wall. Minimal mess, new boiler working perfectly, great hot water flow to shower, smart meter already showing vast improvement in costs, no snags. Great work, highly recommended.

Replaced old bath seal and rusty towel rail

We were very pleased with the two calls, first to remove the old leaking bath sealant and reseal it, advice on getting a new towel rail as the old one was rusting and was likely to leak. Pass and Totterdell kept us informed of arrival times, let us know when there could be a delay, and spent time balancing the heating system after the replacement rail. We are very pleased with their service and would definitely use them again.

Good work on new oil Boiler

Just had my 30 year old Worcester oil boiler replaced with a new Worcester Bosch boiler by P&T. Good work and would recommend them. They were flexible enough to consider my wishes on the installation as it required new pipework and some building modifications to accommodate the work. Any issues I know I can get them back to assist.

I would not hesitate to recommend this firm. We have used them over many years, in several properties. Our boiler wasn’t working properly - the pressure was building up too much and then it cut out. Despite several visits to replace leaking valves, pipes and the pressure gauge it was still not working. Mark and Joe stuck with solving the problem - determined to sort it out. After a hi-tech process involving a heat detector gizmo they discovered the cause of all the disruption... A small hole in a pipe in the roof. Quickly it was mended and then... Hey presto the boiler worked wonderfully again, radiators heated up and everyone was happy & very relieved!

This company does my residential heating services and maintenance- always fast to respond, options given to fix problems and then they carry out work in a efficient way, no mess ever. Also I use them for my rental Properties - all annual services, heating, gas, fire alarms etc - the annual reminders are a useful and they are always timely in scheduling appointment in, great with tenants also.

Couldn't recommend this company highly enough. Prioritised our call because of a water leak which then led us to discovering there was also a gas leak. Mark worked quickly to make the boiler safe and removed the electricity bit (don't know the technical term) to make sure there was no chance of the boiler being switched on by accident while we waited for a replacement. The new boiler was reasonably priced and the work was done quickly. The workspace was neat and the old boiler and waste was taken away the same day - I barely noticed it was all being done. Overall a very positive experience and a company who I would trust to give an honest evaluation of your boiler and provide sound advice - this is unlike some companies who will encourage you to keep throwing money at failing boiler so they can profit from the patch up work and constant call outs. Thank you :)
