Paul stripped, sealed, filled, papered and painted three rooms in my property which hadn't been professionally decorated for thirty years. The scale of the work was greater than anticipated but Paul put extra time in to see that the job was done according to schedule. I found it especially helpful that Paul updated me with his progress and any issues he had encountered, because I was at my own work and our paths rarely crossed. Paul was straightforward with pricing, which was very fair, left the place tidy at the end of the day and was always pleasant to communicate with. The standard of his work is excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Paul, or ask him back.

Paul has undertaken work for us on two occasions so far at our flat in Tollcross. In the summer of 2021 he completely redecorated the flat including preparing all the cornices, ceilings and walls and repairing a number of cracks and blocking out some very dark old painting on the walls. He prepared the woodwork and made good the window frames before painting all the walls and ceilings. He made a great job of the exterior front door and the surround and masonry. The finished job was excellent, completed on time and to budget. In May 2022 he painted all the flat's exterior windows. Again an excellent job. Paul is a pleasure to work with, extremely professional and a skilled painter and decorator. I highly recommend Paul and look forward to having do more work for us in the future.

He was prompt in providing a competitive quote and worked quickly with a high level of care to complete the work before Christmas. After having been let down previously by four (!) decorators, I found Paul on Which? Trusted Traders. He was pretty busy, but said he should have a few days at the end of October to do the job (3m x 4m bedroom, prep walls, hang lining paper, two coats of emulsion and fill and paint woodwork). He gave me an estimate based on the room size and work I'd described, and I accepted, saying as I was away my partner would be overseeing access, etc. He was very good in keeping in touch and replying to messages, etc., and turned up when he said he would (despite me foregtting to tell him the house number!). He got going straight away, and was very neat and tidy. Paul also managed to do a wetroom ceiling with the special paint he recommended for such an environment. He finished well within the time he quoted, and the eventual bill was less than I expected, which was excellent, I have no hesitation at all in recommending Paul, he's now on my and my partner's list of Trusted Tradespeople!

Paul recently re-decorated a large hall for me. Paul offered a very competitive quote and his quality of work was excellent. He completed the job quickly and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again. Very friendly and easy to deal with.

I've engaged Paul twice now. The first time was in October 2020 to redecorate my living room after water damage. Paul came and gave a competitive quote, and we arranged a suitable date to decorate. Paul was punctual and decorated with precision. His work was impeccable. He seamlessly re-papered the damaged wall, working around built in floor to ceiling book cases. The painting of the ceiling, walls and woodwork was done to a high finish with no fuss or mess. The second time was in March 2021. I re-engaged Paul to paint the outside of my flat. Again his quote was competitive, and he came punctually when he said he would. Working within Covid restrictions he painted my flat exterior wall and door frame. The work was to a high standard. I have recommended Paul to my friends who need a good painter. I will happily use Paul again, and you should too.

We have been delighted on several occasions to engage Paul to carry out work in our home. He always turns up exactly when he says that he will, he listens to what we require and gives good advice on what we can and cannot do with the space we are working in. He gives a thorough run down on on what work will be required and a very reasonable quote for the work. He takes cognizance of the current Health crisis and works accordingly. He is polite and friendly and has a great work ethic. When working he is efficient and tidy, making sure that areas are covered and protected. He is trustworthy and we are happy to leave him in the house when we are not in. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He will be doing more work for us.

My wife rents out a flat that required decorating from top to toe. We were having a new boiler and all the windows replaced at the same time, along with replacing much of the furniture.
