Required to replace kitchen cabinet lights left unsatisfactory by previous installer, solved very quickly and at a good price, strongly recommend Paul.

Paul replaced a faulty central heating thermostat for us. He told me what time he would arrive - and did so within an hour of me calling him. He told me his charges before agreeing to do the job. We found him friendly and efficient. He took time to explain what was needed and the differences between different types of thermostat. We couldn't get a thermostat the same day, so I ordered one using the specification that Paul gave me. He removed the faulty thermostat and replaced it with a switch which allowed us to use the central heating. He returned the next day to fit the new unit and took the time to explain to us how to set it up. His work was clean, tidy and safe. On this basis I would have no hesitation in asking him to quote for any future work that I may have and I would recommend him to other potential customers

Paul and his son did a great job of replacing and updating the electricity board and sockets. They were knowledgeable, tidy, punctual and reliable and sorted everything out removing any worries I had. We needed an electrician to complete and rectify work completed by a previous electrician. Paul was recommended to us by a work colleague and we are so glad he was. Paul spent 4 days completing electrical works in our house. A new consumer unit was fitted, fully tested, faults found and rectified, 2 outside lights fitted, earthing of gas and water, plus a series of rectification works needed to put us back in line with regulations, all fully tested and certified. Paul was thorough and worked efficiently, completing work neatly and to a high standard. All work was discussed and explained throughout, quotes were detailed with no hidden costs or nasty surprises at the end. Prices were fair. Paul went above and beyond for us, providing support when initiating a complaint against the previous work completed by the previous electrician. Providing pictures and technical language needed to provide a full complaint, taking a lot of the stress out of a very stressful situation we had found ourselves in. Paul was able to put in a complaint on our behalf and start the process for us. We cannot thank him enough. Overall, an excellent job, fairly priced, polite and reliable, and on top of this Paul is a genuinely nice guy. We will definitely be calling on him for future work and would not hesitate to recommend.

Paul came to replace the switch to our shower, which was faulty, having fitted the shower unit itself some time ago. He responded promptly to my request, and fitted a new switch efficiently for a fair price, even though it wasn't a 100% straightforward job. Will definitely call him again if we need any further work.

After some very good plumbing work, we called Paul again. This time he completed electrical work for us, updating the fuse board, repairing outdoor lights that had ceased to work properly and ensuring that the house was safe. He also completed an EICR for us to present to our solicitors for a house move. He spent a day and a half here completing the work and doggedly persevered until he found a fault in the outdoor lights. Once again, Paul proved to be reliable; he responded to our initial request quickly and explained what needed to be done and, when a couple of parts didn't arrive on time, returned later to fit these. Highly recommended.

Paul did some excellent work for us. He completed several jobs for us: he installed a vanity unit and washbasin in our cloakroom; he repaired and refurbished an end panel in the kitchen; he fitted a new transformer for some lights in the bedroom and repaired/refurbished our integrated fridge. All work was completed to a high standard, including some tricky cutting for pipework in the cloakroom. He suggested a cheaper and better option for the fridge than we had planned and made everything look much better than it had before! Paul was always friendly, tidy, detailed in updates and honest in possible outcomes. He visited first to quote for the jobs, texted to let us know when parts were received and offered lots of advice. We have no hesitation in recommending Paul; we trusted him enough to give him a key for the second morning when we could not be there for his arrival. We considered this to be excellent value for money and would more than happily use him again.

Work carried out in October 2023 to replace a faulty outside security light at 1st storey level and fault finding to identify the cause of a tripping RCD (traced to an earth fault on kitchen oven). I asked Paul whether he could recommend anyone to sort out some long outstanding jobs in our fitted kitchen - re-fitting existing doors to a washing machine and a tumble dryer, stopping a persistent problem with one of the appliances creeping, and re-fitting a kitchen plinth. I found out he had worked previously as a kitchen fitter so I asked him to carry out this work as well and he did an excellent job. Very happy with both the electrical and the kitchen works and would use him again. I had employed Paul on 3 previous electrical jobs since 2021 and all were carried out efficiently and to a good standard for a reasonable price.

Paul came out to fit a new fuse Board and 3 sockets and two safety switches. Could not fault him at all . After fitting fuse Board he found a fault in one of the sockets which 2 years ago my wife had an electric shock from . Found out the earth and neutral were in the wrong place and also fitted a back box as old one No good . . You can ask him any questions and will get an excellent response. Very perlite and trust worthy. Would recommend him 2 anyone and I will leave a 10 out of 10 Cheers Paul 👍

Paul came round early to assess the job with a view to obtaing the parts. He came back later and fitted a new flush unit and service valve. Toilet now works better than it had before. Excellent!

Paul added some extra sockets for me in my spare room recently. His work was reasonably priced, very professional and cleaned up any mess from the work done and left the room immaculate. Paul is a very friendly chap also ! I would recommend him to anyone.

We’ve known Paul for several years. We use him for our main home and our rental properties. He is always reliable, friendly, honest and upfront about costs . Paul is someone you can trust to do the job properly given his extensive knowledge . He is always helpful and has been fantastic in his work for an elderly neighbour of ours . One of the good guys and we’d heartily recommend him.

We had to find an electrician for my elderly Father-in-law when he lost power to all of his kitchen appliances. He is 87 years of age and lives alone, so we obviously needed someone reliable and trustworthy. We selected Paul from the Which Trusted Traders website, and we are glad that we did because we were very pleased with his work. He found and rectified the fault and also at our request fitted a replacement consumer unit. Paul was polite and friendly, and my Father-in-law felt very comfortable having him in his home. He clearly knows his trade and did an excellent job for us. We would definitely recommend him.

We were kept informed throughout the job about what was being done and why. Punctual, hard working, tidy and reliable in every way. The job was done to a high standard and would highly recommend.

Paul was very professional, explained in terms I could understand why the work was necessary and the differences between the new and old fuse boxes. He arrived on the agreed date, fitted the new box and identified that there were a number of problems on one of the circuits. It was by then getting late but he continued working until 7pm to identify and rectify the problems. I had also asked for two new sockets to be fitted but he advised me that it was perfectly safe to continue using the existing extension leads but that he would carry out the work if I wanted it done. I decided to save the additional cost and it was refreshing to find a trader who did not just do the work without saying anything. I have had no problems with the new fuse box and overall think that Paul did a brilliant job at a reasonable price. I shall certainly use him again.

It was an absolute joy to have Paul in the house. He was very patient and calm throughout, respectful of Mum and her house. He was a methodical and tidy worker. He took a long time listening to what we wanted and then resolved everything on our list and sorted out other issues that weren't on our original list! He tested all his work throughout. His calmness and good humour were unwavering. We will certainly have no hesitation in using him again and would have no hesitation to recommend him
