Paul came to replace the switch to our shower, which was faulty, having fitted the shower unit itself some time ago. He responded promptly to my request, and fitted a new switch efficiently for a fair price, even though it wasn't a 100% straightforward job. Will definitely call him again if we need any further work.

After some very good plumbing work, we called Paul again. This time he completed electrical work for us, updating the fuse board, repairing outdoor lights that had ceased to work properly and ensuring that the house was safe. He also completed an EICR for us to present to our solicitors for a house move. He spent a day and a half here completing the work and doggedly persevered until he found a fault in the outdoor lights. Once again, Paul proved to be reliable; he responded to our initial request quickly and explained what needed to be done and, when a couple of parts didn't arrive on time, returned later to fit these. Highly recommended.

Paul did some excellent work for us. He completed several jobs for us: he installed a vanity unit and washbasin in our cloakroom; he repaired and refurbished an end panel in the kitchen; he fitted a new transformer for some lights in the bedroom and repaired/refurbished our integrated fridge. All work was completed to a high standard, including some tricky cutting for pipework in the cloakroom. He suggested a cheaper and better option for the fridge than we had planned and made everything look much better than it had before! Paul was always friendly, tidy, detailed in updates and honest in possible outcomes. He visited first to quote for the jobs, texted to let us know when parts were received and offered lots of advice. We have no hesitation in recommending Paul; we trusted him enough to give him a key for the second morning when we could not be there for his arrival. We considered this to be excellent value for money and would more than happily use him again.

Work carried out in October 2023 to replace a faulty outside security light at 1st storey level and fault finding to identify the cause of a tripping RCD (traced to an earth fault on kitchen oven). I asked Paul whether he could recommend anyone to sort out some long outstanding jobs in our fitted kitchen - re-fitting existing doors to a washing machine and a tumble dryer, stopping a persistent problem with one of the appliances creeping, and re-fitting a kitchen plinth. I found out he had worked previously as a kitchen fitter so I asked him to carry out this work as well and he did an excellent job. Very happy with both the electrical and the kitchen works and would use him again. I had employed Paul on 3 previous electrical jobs since 2021 and all were carried out efficiently and to a good standard for a reasonable price.

Paul came out to fit a new fuse Board and 3 sockets and two safety switches. Could not fault him at all . After fitting fuse Board he found a fault in one of the sockets which 2 years ago my wife had an electric shock from . Found out the earth and neutral were in the wrong place and also fitted a back box as old one No good . . You can ask him any questions and will get an excellent response. Very perlite and trust worthy. Would recommend him 2 anyone and I will leave a 10 out of 10 Cheers Paul 👍

Paul came round early to assess the job with a view to obtaing the parts. He came back later and fitted a new flush unit and service valve. Toilet now works better than it had before. Excellent!

We’ve known Paul for several years. We use him for our main home and our rental properties. He is always reliable, friendly, honest and upfront about costs . We had to find an electrician for my elderly Father-in-law when he lost power to all of his kitchen appliances. He is 87 years of age and lives alone, so we obviously needed someone reliable and trustworthy. We selected Paul from the Which Trusted Traders website, and we are glad that we did because we were very pleased with his work. He found and rectified the fault and also at our request fitted a replacement consumer unit. Paul was polite and friendly, and my Father-in-law felt very comfortable having him in his home. He clearly knows his trade and did an excellent job for us. We would definitely recommend him.

We were kept informed throughout the job about what was being done and why. Punctual, hard working, tidy and reliable in every way. The job was done to a high standard and would highly recommend.

Paul was very professional, explained in terms I could understand why the work was necessary and the differences between the new and old fuse boxes. He arrived on the agreed date, fitted the new box and identified that there were a number of problems on one of the circuits. It was by then getting late but he continued working until 7pm to identify and rectify the problems. I had also asked for two new sockets to be fitted but he advised me that it was perfectly safe to continue using the existing extension leads but that he would carry out the work if I wanted it done. I decided to save the additional cost and it was refreshing to find a trader who did not just do the work without saying anything. I have had no problems with the new fuse box and overall think that Paul did a brilliant job at a reasonable price. I shall certainly use him again.

Paul works methodically listens to the client and resolved a significant electrical fault, others had failed to pinpoint or rectify. He then systematically worked through my list of other electrical problems with knowledge and ease providing hints / tips which were invaluable. He tested all electrical points throughout property replacing light switch, electrical socket, updated light fitting for kitchen/ utility and also resolved an outdoor lighting issue. Paul initially came to fit a new Consumer Board which was no trouble for him, but there were a few other issues that we had which he diagnosed and resolved very promptly. He explained everything as he went along knew exactly what he was doing cleared everything up and we wouldn't hesitate to have him again in the future if required.

Paul did the first electrical inspection for this Worcester property for which I am the landlord. He was easy and reliable to deal with in making the arrangements by email and phone, and before making a relatively minor but necessary improvement phoned me to discuss options and to get my agreement. Invoice and certificate came through promptly and he is going to remind me when the next inspection is due. I feel in very good hands and it was a pleasure dealing with someone so professional. When we moved in there were a few major jobs that needed doing. Paul sorted out our electrics in a thoroughly professional manner and took time to explain exactly what he was doing and why. Paul has carried out numerous electrical and other jobs for us and has always been reliable and fair. The work recently was an EICR inspection at a rented property. The tenants had altered some of the electrical fittings leaving them in a dangerous condition. Paul e-mailed me photographs and carried this additional work at a fair price and was able to issue a certificate. This was all carried out the same day to make things safe. He also carried out some work on my property where i wanted some spot lights in a kitchen timber pelmet replaced with larger diameter LED bulbs. This involved making the holes bigger and replacing some of the wiring. The work was exceptionally neat for what was a really fiddly job. Always my first port of call for electrical and other jobs. Can't recommend him enough.

We’ve relied on Paul for electrical works whilst we’ve modernised our home over the last 6 years, and found him to be reliable, knowledgeable and conscientious. This year we have turned our attention to extending and refurbishing the kitchen, with all the stress that surrounds this we opted to go with Paul to fit the new kitchen as we trust him implicitly to do an excellent job. We had all the usual things you can expect; visit to understand the works, detailed quotation, clear timescales, with the works all carried out in line with this. I called Paul in as I had been told by another electrician that I needed a whole house rewire. Obviously I was in a bit of a panic. Paul checked the system assured me that the wiring in the house was sound and recommended that the fuse box be updated. He explained why this needed doing and gave me an idea of costings and timings for the work. Paul works methodically and kept me informed on what he was doing throughout the job. He then tested the whole system, discovering a wrongly wired socket in the process. Paul works quickly, efficiently and tidies as he goes. Paul replaced a very old fuse box with a new latest edition RCD consumer unit. I was kept informed during the job and he explained the need to upgrade a couple of cables. He also traced and tested a 6mm cooker circuit for me which has since saved me the cost of installing another. All circuits, lights and sockets were checked and tested on completion. Paul discovered the cause of a long term problem with our outside lights by methodically searching for the cause, tracing it to a new kitchen light incorrectly fitted last year. He rewired the kitchen light and probably prevented a fire, explained what he was doing and why. We booked Paul to fit replace an electric hob, built-in oven and bathroom ceiling extractor fan and to carry out an EIRC and pat test some appliances in our rental property. He arrived on time and started work immediately. It soon became apparent that he could not fit the oven as the amperage required was too great for the supply. Paul explained what the problem was and that the oven would need to be replaced. He even helped repackage it ready for collection and talked me through exactly how we could fit a replacement one ourselves. The work was carried out very efficiently. Paul gave me a fixed price for each appliance and for each item to be pat tested. The EIRC also carries a fixed charge, so I knew exactly how much it would all cost. He very kindly did not charge the full amount for the oven as he had not been able to complete the job. In addition, he has offered to email us with any new regulations which may affect us as landlords. He is a very knowledgeable, pleasant guy and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

He made some minor changes (smoke alarms on a lighting circuit rather than on their own) and provided missing labels for minimal extra cost. A bathroom light fitting did not have the correct IP rating but he allowed me to replace it and send photographic evidence so satisfactory reports could be issued. My kitchen refit was a major project for me. I have a large kitchen which needed taking out, pipework moved and an old cupboard removed. Paul took the whole project and provided me with a detailed quote with everything itemised. Paul took delivery of the units and new white goods. Paul undertook a refurbishment of Workspace Technology's toilets including removing and fitting new toilets, sink unit and sink as well as tiling and final decoration. We asked Paul to install a water feature in the garden (see photo). In addition to the electrical work he also dug out, installed the sump and finished the job with landscaping around it. This was combined with some garden lights. A very neat job, all cabling hidden or disguised and fully certified from the appropriate authority.
