I invited 5 companies to quote for a large resin bound driveway. John from Pavilion Paving was one of them. To set the scene, I am an extremely discerning client, have very high expectations and researched extensively into the Resin Bound offerings available in the UK. John at Pavilion was extremely knowledgeable, far exceeding all other companies in terms of demonstrable experience, understanding of the industry, products and processes. John’s quote was very fair and his communication and personable approach throughout the process was second to none! It was a pleasure to have John and the team on site, they were reliable, tidy, friendly, and extremely courteous. The result was flawless, delivered ahead of schedule and totally transformed our drive beyond our expectations. I would suggest that you do not waste any further time comparing other companies, John and team are clearly one of the best out there and I would not hesitate to fully endorse them.

Having gone with their very competitive quote, start date of 18th March arrived with John and his team on time being polite, helpful, neat and tidy after each day. Any possible problems were mutually discussed and agreed with the final resin bound drive being completed as scheduled on 21st March. I can't praise them all enough and we're very pleased with our new driveway! I would highly recommend Pavilion Paving as a company.

No problems. Arrived on due date & completed when stated. Price quoted was price paid. Quality of work and materials used, were of a high standard. Removed an existing tree stump and removed/replaced an existing fence line. Quote competitive based on current market conditions and quotes from other driveway companies. I had used this company some years ago on a previous property and had no hesitation in using them again.

The quotation we received from John was totally honest, not the cheapest but honest. Once the job commenced the guys were on time, and effectively just got on with the work. Nothing was too much trouble for them and any questions my wife and I had were answered. We were very impressed with their professionalism even more so, when the job was finished 1.5 days earlier than projected.

Very sad to have to post this review. After a personal recommendation, John and team laid our resin bound driveway in September 2021. We were pleased with the look and reviewed him and his team positively. But a long crack appeared in April 2022. John came out to look in September 2022 and agreed it wasn't right and we needed a repair, but we agreed to monitor for a few more months to assess repair vs complete re-lay. Now we have cracks everywhere, very noticeable. We spoke to John in both May and August 2023 (he thinks the problem is the resin supplier - a change from his normal supplier) and we agreed we would sort it in September (we understood this to be that he would propose a solution). But since August 2023 John won't respond to the 3 phone calls (messages left) and 2 texts since then. We are really frustrated and disappointed with the lack of response from John. We like him, we know this is his family business and we want to arrive at a solution, but this is impossible to do if he won't reply to calls. We don't know how else to move this forwards so this review is a plea to John to get in touch, to work with us for a solution to get our driveway up to the standards of his usual work (which comes with a 10 year guarantee, but no paperwork to independently claim against this, so dependent on John responding to his customers).

John and the team at Pavilion did an amazing job for us traveling daily to Kent. We had quite a lot of groundwork to do before the resin went down and Sam and Ten were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and they checked at every stage that we were happy. John runs a good team. They are reliable, professional and the price was very reasonable. The price quoted was the price we paid. John knows his stuff and only uses good quality products (unlike some who quoted us). The resin looks amazing and we can't wait to use it.

My neighbour used this company last year, when they had a resin driveway installed. As it looked so nice I decided to have mine done as well. Communication with the company was easy, and dates agreed only two weeks ahead. The agreed timescale was 2 - 3 days, but the work was completed in less than two days. One day of preparation, and a morning of laying the new drive. It was quick, as the company sent six people on the second day to achieve a nice finish. Everyone was friendly and efficient. Very pleased with the results.

We were really pleased with the resin driveway provided by John and his team. They were true professionals who gave us a few different price options so we could ensure we could work within our budget and get the result we wanted. We were kept up to date with how long the work would take and the process involved. Would recommend!

John and his team answered my many questions about the process, materials and guarantees by email before we selected them. They were not the cheapest of those who quoted for the work but they really inspired confidence as they clearly knew their products well. We are really pleased as they did a lovely job on our corner plot; we now have a smart and very large driveway. They stayed within the agreed budget, and although there were delays due to the weather and a problem with supply of materials we were kept informed and the inconvenience to us was minimised. Several months on the drive looks great, we have not had any problems and I would definitely recommend John and the team, all of whom but especially Beckham were excellent.

I am pleased to report that as at today (3 months after completion) the driveway still looks as good as it did on day one. The whole job took two weeks to complete and we were kept updated with progress during the entire installation process. The price paid was the one agreed in the initial quote.
