Hi there! We’re PCs Made Simple, your guide and interpreter in the weird world of computers and cyber-space! We speak your language and will use it to discuss your computing needs. Welcome also fellow Geeks, we speak your language too and share your enthusiasm! Our aim is simply to provide you with the computing facilities or services you may require. All while explaining everything clearly, in plain English, and never trying to sell you something that you don’t want or need.
Building PCs is what we do best. Every PC we make is tailor made for you and will usually be cheaper (but still far better) than an “off-the-shelf” model designed to cater for everyone. And of course we are also here to look after your existing computer; whatever make, model, or operating system it is.
We started this business with a mission, to cut through all the gobbledygook and mystique surrounding computers and their use and to save people unnecessary costs.

I rang on Friday morning with my laptop in pieces. I was asked to take it in and they could fix it. I was delighted to be telephoned in the middle of the afternoon to say that the laptop was fixed and I could collect it. Also the cost was very reasonable and within the estimate.

I dropped my laptop which damaged the hinges and in turn stopped a fan from working. I took the laptop to a local computer repair shop (not PCs Made Simple) they said they would do a diagnostic test and to call two days later - which I did with no result. In the end it took them a week to tell me they could not get the parts to make the repair. After this I went to PCs Made Simple where Dave ask me to leave it with him and he would call. He did so the next day saying he had found a second hand laptop of the same make from which he could replace the damaged parts in mine. Later that day I had another call to my laptop was ready. Excellent, quick and friendly service, Thank you Pcs Made Simple.

Recent problems with our Epson printer led us to find PCs Made Simple. The printer issue was solved within 15 minutes which was fantastic. During our conversation it was clear that we needed a new PC to keep us up to date with the latest technology. Both Clifford and Dave gave constructive and practical advice as to our needs without blinding us with jargon. An estimate for the new computer was received speedily and once given the go ahead the computer was built within a few days, and the data was transferred from our old computer very efficiently. All was completed within estimate and was exceedingly good value for money. Very impressive service which we can highly recommend.

Great service, would definitely recommend. I had a very very slow laptop, so called and received advice about my slow computer, and whether it was worth repairing. Decided to repair and have a replacement hard drive, so took it in the very same day, and collected the next day when repairs were finished.

I took in my laptop (which I need for work every weekday) because it was running extremely slowly. I teach online in Germany and my lessons were constantly being disturbed due to the screen freezing or programs not responding. The laptop is not even 18 months old, so I wanted to know what was wrong. From the start I was greeted in a friendly but professional manner. Tests were run on the spot and the diagnosis was 'the hard drive was already dying'. I thought I would have to buy a new computer, but PCs made Simple said they could clone the hard drive which would save all my programs and software and told me the price which was only a fraction of the cost of a new PC. This was done very quickly and at the advised cost. I also received numerous tips and answers to the many questions I had. I would thoroughly recommend this company to anyone wishing to purchase a new computer or repair an old one.

This is my new "go-to" place if anything goes wrong with my computers! Phoned them up about dead desktop. Dropped it off and they were confident of what the problem was gave me a min / max price. They were friendly and helpful. To my suprise they phoned later in the day job done. New hard drive, old one cloned, windows reinstalled. They returned my old hard drive. And the box and paperwork from new drive. Helps your confidence that job done was as described. Great work guys

Some months ago we took our old laptop there and it was checked with no charge made. When the time came to replace this item, we immediately went back there. There was no hard sell and we felt very fair advice was given about what was suitable for our needs, both for the laptop and a new printer, which we decided to replace at the same time. Both competitively priced. We were given a 48 hour time to collect our new fully operational laptop and printer. However, it was actually ready within 24 hours. All explanations were given with a cheerful smile, even when I probably sounded like an idiot with my queries! After sales service via the phone was also conducted cheerfully. Will be our "go to shop" for all things computers from now on. Would recommend 100%.

I rang PCs Made Simple after a website search. Due to the age of my laptop a repair was not economically viable, although a repair was tried, so gave consideration to upgrade. Reconditioned or new? All the pros and cons were explained in depth without pressure to buy. The transference of data from old to new was painless and Dave helped set up and amended many profiles needed to just go from one laptop to another, seamlessly! Since acquiring my new laptop I have had no necessity to ring Dave with any query. No problems experienced. Thank you PCs Made Simple

'PCs made simple' does what it says on the tin; their technical knowledge is translated into plain English. They gave me a choice of suitable printers, and promptly and effectively installed one, taking away the 'dead' one at my request. My old PC had stopped working and the wifi had closed. Dave sorted the PC, quickly. As I had already decided to upgrade he helped me choose a new laptop suited to my needs, I've had it a few weeks now and it's just the job. Dave was V helpful, he didn't patronise me (something that old ladies get a lot of.) and answered all my questions and suggested I call if I had any problems.

Clifford and Dave are an excellent team offering a first class service. They will build a computer to your personal needs and offer advice and answer your questions. They offer computer security on line so every time you turn on your computer is scanned. I would use no other company as they are excellent.

When my computer stopped talking to my monitor on a Saturday morning I looked in "The Poole Directory" for a computer repair company, I came across "PCs Made Simple Ltd" who are also recommended by "The Which Magazine". I gave them a phone call explaining the fault and they said we can have someone around to fix it at 11am on Monday. Someone was here on the dot of 11, and having to take the side off the tower unit and running a few tests had the computer up and running in twenty minuets. He also did a very good check for any files, programs or any other thing that was not wanted any more or could course a threat to the machine. I will be using this company again if I ever need them.
