From my first contact with this trader I have been very impressed with his attitude and helpfulness. The job itself was completed in a very satisfactory manor on schedule and as per the quote. I would recommend this firm to anybody wanting a new boiler.

Very professional from start to finish. Really happy with the work and also the actual boiler itself. The final cost didn't deviate from the original quote (which was itemised) and the work was carried out as expected. PDL came on time and the work is of a very high standard. Very quick on returning emails when I had queries about the quote. I have no problems in recommending PDL at all.

We shopped around for quotations before getting our new boiler installed. I knew what I was looking for, so I searched for a list of approved installers and invited three of them to quote. Aside from one exhorbitant quote from a formerly nationalised company, the others were similar in price. Paul, the owner of PDL, communicated with me well and arrived at our house to quote exactly when he said he would, literally to the minute. I'm not entirely ignorant when it comes to plumbing or boilers and could immediately tell that he knew the most appropriate method of installation, something you may be tempted to take for granted from a heating engineer, but not all heating engineers were created equal! Paul was faced with a very confined space to work in, an old boiler to remove and pipework which was not routed optimally, creating a difficulty when locating the existing pipes. His suggested route to install was minimally invasive to the plaster work and cupboard surrounds. Paul was very cordial but also professional and answered any question thrown at him in an informed and knowledgeable manner. The installation itself was carried out perfectly. They put protective matting down on our tiles, were polite and courteous and despite a hiccup with the delivery of the new boiler (not their fault) and Paul having to drive off and source another, everything went off without a hitch. I would not hesitate to recommend PDL for your boiler installation. Excellent value for money.

Paul and his colleague installed a new combi-boiler, replacing an old Rayburn. The job needed to be delayed a couple of times due to the lockdown restrictions but this was all handled very well. I am very happy with job done and was kept informed throughout the installation. Everything up and running great and will look to use Paul again for any further central heating jobs I have.

From my first enquiry with Paul to completion and commissioning of the new boiler everything went smoothly. His explanation of what would be needed to upgrade my antiquated (50 year old) water heater to a shiny new combi boiler, and pipe work modifications, was thorough and clear. He followed up quickly with a detailed quotation and was able to undertake the work quickly and to budget despite the obvious difficulties for everyone with the COVID-19 pandemic. He and his colleague arrived bang on time each morning and worked quietly and unobtrusively. On completion I was given a helpful walk-through of the new system and controls. All old items no longer needed (hot water cylinder, zone valve, circulating pump, water heater, piping etc) were taken away. It’s now a month after completion and I’m happy to say everything is working fine and gas consumption is improved!

When we decided that we needed a new boiler we phoned Paul from PDL and he came out promptly and did a site survey. We had already decided on the make of the boiler that we wanted. He agreed with our chosen manufacturer and explained the capacity and type of boiler that would be appropriate for our home. He had a thorough knowledge of the product and he inspired us with the confidence to proceed. Paul emailed us an estimate the very same day, which we were happy to accept. In less than two weeks our new boiler was installed by Paul and his team. It took a day to install. Paul and his team were considerate and all was clean and tidy when they left. Our new boiler has now been in situ for three weeks and is working well. We would be happy to recommend PDL to anyone that requires a new heating system.

A new replacement Gas CH and hot water boiler installation, the initial visit was extremely helpful and the quotation was clearly explained, the work was completed on time and to budget, everything was very professional and to an extremely high standard. PDL Heating had recently installed a new Gas CH boiler for my son who spoke very highly of them. An excellent choice from a very satisfied customer.

I needed a replacement boiler and contacted PDL since they had been recommended by a family member. Paul was very knowledgeable and explained the various options when he came to provide the estimate, which he sent through on the same afternoon. They (Paul and Robert) have done a thoroughly professional job of installing the new boiler (and shower!). They worked constantly throughout the two days that it took. I was kept informed as to progress throughout. They took care to minimise the amount of disruption and protected the carpets etc. from damage. After installation, Paul explained clearly how to operate the system and to use the Vaillant vSMART app. I am very pleased with the result and would not hesitate to recommend PDL.

Paul did a first class job, from the first visit, to turning up on time to carry out a neat, tidy install, all rubbish and obsolete material taken away, installation when agreed and to quote. On commissioning the system everything was clearly explained once I'd downloaded and synced a Vaillant app to the new boiler. I know installing a new boiler is quite a rare event so using tradesman of the quality of Paul and his colleague has given me great peace of mind that a proper job has been done. Paul and Robert provided an extremely professional and efficient service, arriving on time, removing the old boiler and replacing with a new unit. Clearly, they have done this many times before and it shows by their method of approach and sequencing of removing unwanted items, in a controlled fashion. No hidden extras in the final bill. All questions were answered in a clear and concise way during the day with a clear explanation of the unit's control system.

Both fitters pleasant and friendly and worked efficiently until completed installation. Clean and tidy work and excellent post installation guidance and instruction regarding products. Would recommend to anyone looking for central heating / plumbing work. Good job well done.

Contacted PDL for a quote for boiler replacement. Paul came out straight away gave us information to decide what we needed. Accepted his quote and a date set. Rob arrived on the day and worked very hard all day. Paul talked us through everything and again to help us remember it all. Genuine decent guys who didn't hard sell/press us.
