PDP Services recently carried out some electrical work for us at our commercial premises and were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. The team were incredibly professional, friendly, and respectful throughout the job. They worked efficiently and kept everything tidy, which we really appreciated. The quality of their work was excellent, and the whole experience was smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend PDP Services to anyone looking for reliable and skilled electricians.

Our bathroom was completely refurbished in April 2023 occasioned by having a walk in shower fitted. We were generally pleased with the standard of the work, and the skills of the various craftsmen, and the resulting bathroom. Both the bidet and the toilet were fitted to nylon brackets screwed to the floor held in place by long horizontal screws passing through the porcelain and screwing into the brackets. These screws were fitted with plastic caps having a chrome finish. Before my wife washed the tiled floor she would sweep it and if she knocked the caps with the broom they would break and come off. Therefore I decided to replace them with metal ones which screwed on. When I removed the first long screw the nylon bracket moved and there was nothing to affix the screw to which led me to believe that the brackets had not been screwed to the floor, so I contacted PDP who agreed to send George Cubitt, one of their engineers, to investigate. George was a very pleasant and amenable young man who checked the brackets and found that they had been screwed to the floor, but that the one I had tried had moved out of alignment with the holes in the porcelain. He fitted the new metal caps very quickly and asked whether anything else needed fixing so far as plumbing was concerned, so he improved the working of our downstairs toilet. We would certainly use them again particularly if George were to come.

Needed a tap replacing on a bathroom sink. Rang PDP on Monday: after an exchange of emails with details, received & accepted a quotation and the work was completed first thing on Friday. The standard of work was excellent and everyone I spoke to or emailed was courteous and efficient. They were as good as the best plumber I've ever employed (long retired) and far better than most. I have never before felt it appropriate to give 5 stars on a review.

Site visit to provide quote was exactly as booked. Quote sent within 24 hours Date for work agreed 3 staff arrived on the day as scheduled and on time 2 electricians working on, and then disconnecting the power supply to garden room and areas of overgrown garden, to enable garden to be sorted out safely at a future date. 3rd staff member de-commissioned air conditioning unit internally and externally In line with toxic gas regulations. Polite, friendly, and both jobs completed satisfactorily and professionally. I would absolutely recommend them.

I need to acknowledge Paul tonight from PDP, who went out of his way to support me in my time of crisis!! I had a fuse trip on the board, but despite thorough hunting I could not identify the guilty 'socket'. As much of my downstairs and some of the 'middle floor' was out, due to the problem, I was particularly worried about my fridge-freezer and also my heated / filtered aquarium. Paul offered to come out on an emergency, regardless of the fact that it was 11.30pm on a Sunday evening! I cant tell you how relieved I was, to not only receive communication from someone! but also that he was particularly helpful. In addition to this, Paul actually suggested I video-called him so he was able to see the problem and talk me through resolving it! What a Legend! Paul, I am so very appreciative of your time and wisdom tonight. I can't tell you how relieved I was to actually have someone respond to my call for help. PDP were able to get out to us quickly and resolved the electrical issue straight away. Would highly recommended. A very knowledgeable and friendly team.

The PDP team arrived promptly at 8.00am. They were a great team, polite and friendly, explained what they were doing and why. They were fantastic about our 2 yr old grandson asking questions about everything!! The garden was left clean and tidy when they left at 5pm having completed the work. Highly recommended them.

Generally a good experience. Initially had quite long lead time to get an appointment. When they came they were very helpful and answered all questions without being pushy. They also responded to follow up questions. Once I decided to go forward with the work, Solar Panels were booked into be installed very quickly. This included Scaffolding. Final site survey happened when scaffold was up too. Electrician came several weeks later to complete job. There was an issue connecting to the wifi, and another problem related to positioning of the Inverter/Battery. They came back couple days later to complete the job and resolve the issue with positioning.

I thought that you might like to hear of the fantastic results of your work designing and arranging the installation of our solar panels. I am amazed that easterly facing panels can start producing enough power to run our home from about 6:30 am until 7:30 pm; it exports 34% of energy produced and produces more energy than the home consumes (we were actually topping up our cars on this Saturday) We are delighted with the installation. Neighbours are impressed at how unobtrusive are the panels as they have been symmetrically installed and are not seen above the ridge of the roof. We appreciate that you have high demand at this time and so there is a delay in customer queries. However, the end result is great.

I researched solar and battery storage for nearly 9 months as I have a complicated roof with dormers etc. I spoke to 5 different companies who gave me 5 very different views of what I needed... When I met PDP, I knew within minutes that they were the company I wanted to contract with, subject to receiving a reasonably competitive quotation. Mark - one of the directors who had been booked to meet me - was very knowledgeable and asked all the right questions. He was not pushy. In fact the opposite. He stressed he would not chase me once his proposal was in as PDP are clearly very busy and not chasing work. 3 months after contracting - the scaffolding went up early spring, and the work commenced. The roofers and the electricians were all excellent and worked around my booked holiday and slightly changing requirements (I squeezed on one more panel). The installation I have is great. Its 5.4Kw output (13 panels of 415W each) + 2 batteries totaling >10 kw storage and an 'Eddi' for auto charging my immersion hot water with excess energy. I have switched to Octopus and contracted for their Flux service which works brilliantly with my PDP deployment. PDP are local and responsive and most importantly for me, they absolutely know their business when it comes to solar, battery storage and renewables. I cannot fault them. They were excellent and I am very happy with their standard of workmanship and quality of installation. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Supplied and fitted new radiator and drained and refilled CH system. Good quality thorough job. Delivered in a friendly and helpful manner on time and within estimate. Highly recommended

Cold winter temperatures, Covid lockdown and a drastic shortage of materials - not a good time to have our air source heat pump pronounced ‘life extinct’. Fortunately, after much research, we settled on Paul Padgham and PDP Services. Why them from a raft of competitors? Well in the first instance they returned your calls and had such good communication skills; even when it was ‘the parts are still stuck in the Suez Canal. Importantly, they accepted credit cards, not immediate full payment! On-site they were extremely knowledgeable, provided realistic options and time scales and were incredibly professional, always cognisant they were in your home. Retrofitting always creates challenges but we were so very impressed with the team’s desire to overcome any challenge and the quality of their workmanship was evident. Paul, the heat pump/gas engineer and Carl, groundwork specialist epitomised this philosophy and it was great to see Katie, a future engineer applying herself so well. They all took such pride in their work. So very impressed a five-star performance and very highly recommended.

We have used this company for a number of years. They have serviced our central heating boiler and done repairs as and when required. We have always found them efficient and friendly and their charges are reasonable. What more can you say?

From the first phone call I felt PDP would be a good company to use. The girls in the office were so easy to speak with. When Sam came to give our quote we felt confident that things would be done properly. The guys that came to carry out our boiler replacement were friendly and helpful. Even when there was a glitch with a radiator, all hands were on deck to resolve in no time. I had a few items that I felt needed noting and Sam was very quick in coming back to me with his response. We will definitely call on PDP again if we need any other work and will have them carry out our annual service checks on the new boiler.

PDP Installed 6 new radiators, a new hot water tank and an air source heat pump system to replace my old LPG boiler. All work was done very well, tidy and clean. All the installers were helpful and friendly. New system is all working well. Very happy with everything. Would recommend them to anyone.

PDP installed solar thermal equipment (roof panels, pipework, hot water tank etc.) at the end of April 2021 - they were thoroughly professional throughout the process and the work was completed to a very high standard. They also responded very quickly to any queries I raised during the quoting process. I would certainly recommend them for any similar work that people might be considering.

This company is local to my elderly mother who required urgent attention to her central heating boiler and controls. The office staff were very sensitive to my mother’s needs, rearranging diaries to ensure the work was completed with the urgency required and communicating directly with her when necessary by telephone, sending her hard copies of all receipts as well as maintaining email communication with other family members. The engineers are excellent, safety conscious, clean, quiet, effective and were persistent in what became a complex issue, ensuring the work was successfully completed within the shortest timescale possible. PDP installed a new basin tap, the engineer was quick, tidy and very professional, and did an all round excellent job. He also looked at our shower while he was here. We’ve used PDP on several occasions and always found the office staff and engineers to be helpful and prepared to take on any job, big or small, with the invoices always matching the original quotes.

I have used PDP for many years and always find that they are efficient, punctual and hard workers. Fitted central lights to both bedroom and lounge at my mother's property. Electrician found one of the light fittings was faulty so he came back to install when I received replacement. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. They also do plumbing which is handy. I have used PDP for a few years now after engaging Paul to sort out our badly installed Solar Thermal Hot Water System that another company put in and it had never worked. It has worked perfectly since PDP corrected the problems and now use them to service it regularly. I've always found them to be quick to respond and on time with any work I've used them for.

Eco Dan heat pump service was thorough. Radiators noticeably warmer. Good communication, friendly and helpful. Price as discussed. During a previous visit the engineers solved a pump problem with our solar hot water connected into this system. Really pleased with this company.
