Gareth is exceptional in every department and we highly recommend Peacock's Pest Control. We were lucky to find Peacock's after nearly 4 months of hearing rats in our loft (and seeing regular activity on a trail camera). We went through 4 other companies trying to solve the issue. Gareth's expertise, professionalism and, above all, ability to actually fix the issue set him apart from everyone else. He identified that there was rat activity coming into the property from our neighbour's uncapped waste pipe which allowed the rats onto the roof and into the loft space through a small hole near our neighbour's gutter. He said he was proud to have solved the case where so many other companies failed and he's quite right to say so! Gareth was friendly, calm, knowledgable and empathetic throughout what was a very stressful time. After fixing the issue he dealt with the few remaining pests without using poison. Some of the companies that visited made out that poison was the only way to fix the issue. In contrast Gareth explained that poison is always the very last resort and he does not recommend the use of poison in a property with children or animals. Not only that but Gareth had more success with traps than any of the other companies did with poison. Gareth also cleaned our loft space to finish the job. We are so grateful to have found Peacock's Pest Control and in solving our issue they have allowed us to get back to feeling safe in our home. Thank you again Gareth!

Gareth went over and above- he was able to identify the pest in my flat, a mystery to me and others i'd asked. He viewed the bug under a microscope, and photos of the bites, and provided advice on next steps and the right treatment needed to resolve things. Incredibly pleased with the service, and Gareth's knowledge of the bugs and his determination to identify what was biting me so it could be sorted was very impressive. I called Peacocks Pest Control as I saw a very large wasps nest in the eaves of my loft. The quote was very reasonable and I didn't have to wait more than a week. Gareth attended and was very polite and respectful. He was very knowledgeable and took time to explain wasps and nests. Gareth found another 2 nests in my loft. He removed all 3 by hand. He ensured that the loft insulation was replaced evenly. The final cost was actually less than the quote as he did not use any pesticide product. Highly recommended.

FOR THE PAST 7 YEARS I HAVE BEEN PLAGUED BY THE NIGHTMARE OF A NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOUR WHO BUILT AN ILLEGAL EXTENSION AND CONCRETED OVER A LARGE RAT'S NEST ON HIS PROPERTY. LEFT WITH NOWHERE TO GO, THE RATS STARTED TO INVADE THROUGH MY FENCE, FIRST MY GARDEN AND THEN MY HOUSE EN MASS. IT HAS LITERALLY BEEN HELL. ONE GOT INTO MY WARDROBE FOR THREE DAYS AND ALL THE CLOTHES HAD TO BE DESTROYED AND ONE GOT INTO A INTO A GARDEN ROOM (HARDLY EVER USED AND CAUSED THOUSANDS OF POUNDS WORTH OF DAMAGE. AS I AM DISABLED AND 70+) THE NEIGHBOUR RESPONSIBLE DENIED IT, THE COUNCIL COULD NOT HELP AS HE HAD BUILT THE EXTENSION UNDER THE 7 YEAR RULE. GARETH OF PEACOCKS LITERALLY WAS A LIFE SAVER. I HAD SPENT A FORTUNE ON OTHER SERVICES. GARETH CLEARED ALL THE RATS, THE NESTS, AND BUILT A RAT-PROOF FENCE AND BLOCKED EVERY POSSIBLE ENTRANCE TO THE HOUSE. I HATED MY HOUSE FOR A WHILE. NOW THE HOUSE FEELS LIKE MINE AGAIN AND I AM VERY HAPPY TO BE THERE. I BLESS THE DAY THAT I FOUND PEACOCKS.
