PP undertook quite a large project on a tenanted property which involved the raking out and repointing of 3 elevations of the property using a lime mortar; the replacement of blown bricks and remedial work relating to a localised rising damp problem. The workmanship, tidiness and finish was excellent. The invoices came in on budget as per quote. Communication was excellent throughout the project which lasted a few weeks and the team were sensitive to the needs of the residents. Would very highly recommend this firm

Front (north facing) and side elevations of our brick-built three storey townhouse were weather protected. Very professional operation from start to finish. All preparatory work and sealing done on time and to budget. We were kept informed of the progress at all times by the hardworking, polite, friendly and punctual team of two.

The job consisted of repointing and replacing blown bricks on the South West facade of an early Victorian house. The schedule was not an important factor as all the work was outside. The project was completed in a short continuous period (6 days) and was below budget. The work was carried out to a very high standard. Particular attention was paid to matching the new bricks and mortar to the the existing materials. They were extremely neat in their work and cleared up each evening. The site was left in almost pristine condition when they had finished.

We needed a number of bricks to be replaced and several areas around two sets of Victorian steps to be re-pointed. I had a good feeling right from the start while the job was assessed and how their quotation allowed flexibility depending on the number of bricks that needed to be replace. They were even able to source some authentic bull-nosed capping bricks to match those that required replacing. Heavy rain delayed the work for a couple of days but once the team arrived they worked continuously until the job was finished. The team were polite, helpful and cleared up as they progressed along the walls. They worked around the residents' access requirements and had a dust extraction system to keep the mess to a minimum. The tradesmen took a great pride in their work, which is a rare quality in this age and they were very skilled/competent. I was very happy with their standard of workmanship and performance.

I was happy with the quote from Perfect Pointing and they were very good at breaking the work into 2 loads of work. The quality of the pointing was superb and they made every effort to make sure it looked perfect. House completely repointed in Lime mortar, including chimneys. Fantastic job, house looks a million times better. extremely professional and courteous team, site left spotless, full dust extraction when grinding and able to work flexibly around other contractors. A very professional approach on the initial inspection giving detailed quotes and answering adequately any concerns I had. Work was delayed by wet weather, however when work started it was completed in the scheduled time. It was a pleasure to see a skilled man at work that obviously enjoyed what he was doing. The site was always kept clean and tidy and the raking out of the joints was executed with the least amount of dust and noise. The bungalow and garden wall now look as new as when they were built and it is a credit to this very professional firm. I would highly recommend Perfect Pointing to anyone, albeit they are a bit on the expensive side, but then the workmanship is of the highest quality. The final invoices matched the original quotes, so no unpleasant surprises there, with no extras added.

Perfect Pointing re-pointed a 1920s property including replacing damaged bricks and clearing cavities where required. Their work was of a high standard and the site was left clean and tidy at the end of each day. Good timekeeping, reliable and well managed. A very professional job and happy to recommend.

I asked the team at Perfect Pointing to repoint my sea-facing walls and to add a few more air bricks to prevent the damp that has been happening in my kitchen. The work has been carried out very efficiently and tidily. No mortar dust blew around as the team used special vacuums whilst grinding out the old mortar. The wall was also cleaned thoroughly afterwards. I am delighted with the work carried out.

The work to re point the front of the house was done on time and with minimum of mess. At the end of each day the mortar dust was cleared up and the site was left tidy . I recommend Perfect Pointing without hesitation as Garry and his team were very efficient and courteous and when asked to do a little additional patching in the garage my bill was not increased. Great workmanship.

Great job throughout, efficient courteous, professional. Removed all the remaining original pointing (over 100 years old) and replaced with lime mortar. The guys were happy to take on a few other jobs to take advantage of the scaffolding etc. Would have no hesitation to recommend, which I have already done to some of our neighbours where I expect to see them at work before long :-)
